Every now and then that facebook algorithm turns you to a place that you didn't know existed. Yes I said it. I didn't know about Mikes... I had an ad pop-up for the chicken, finger, sub specials, and being in the neighborhood I thought this would be a fantastic dinner option. I placed an order for two chicken, finger subs, and a three-piece chicken finger meal. The guy who answered the phone was super polite and very helpful. Arriving at Mike's my first initial impression was this place is very well kept. Everything was clean and it had that small neighborhood feel which is exactly what I love. Within a few minutes I had my order and was on my way home to enjoy. Those chicken finger subs really hit the spot today. They were very well cooked piled high and I really appreciated the toasted bun. The little yelper loved the tenders. And despite having several snacks before dinner completely crushed all of the chicken fingers. Needless to say, there was a few additional fans made today in our house, and we will definitely make the journey out to try Mike's again . read more

I stopped in here for a quick bite and didn't want to over eat since we were meeting friends at Condrells after. We ended up splitting the appetizer platter. 3 big chicken fingers, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, potato munchers, and pizza rolls. Buffalo has the best chicken fingers hands down. The mozzarella sticks were packed full of mozzarella. Onion rings were beautifully batter and cooked to a nice golden brown. Pizza rolls were packed with cheese and pepperoni and the potato munchers were fluffy, cheesey, and golden brown. Not a bad thing to say about this spot. Next time I'm definitely getting a sub though. This is a laid back,casual, sub joint. You order at counter, and then they call your name. This review is only for their pizza! Absolutely the worst pizza in western New York. I ordered a medium cheese n pepperoni pie from mikes last week and opened the box and was blown away on how greasy and disgusting it looked I asked it to be cut in squares it was obvious the person who cut it had no idea what a square shape is I had shapes that I have never seen before . The pool of grease that covered the entire pie was gross the cheese melted into a puddle of oily liquid you could not see it was even cut until I picked up a soggy piece. The dough was like cardboard it was never proofed properly or it was frozen dough. My friends and I had a season 8 Game of Thornes marathon and when we took a break we ordered subs from Mike's and I'm so glad my friend told me about this place. I'm gluten free, my friend has celiac, one was a good Catholic on Friday during lent, and one is dairy free. With all of our problems, we were all able to find something that satisfied our appetites. I went with a royal on a gluten free roll. The gluten free rolls are from Kith N Kin, and they are delicious. Such a great sub. My friend got a pizza sub on gf sub roll and she enjoyed it. One friend ordered the white pizza sub and enjoyed it. The last friend ordered a chicken finger sub with no cheese and also thought it was good. When I am in the area, I would definitely order from here again because they make accommodations for dietary restrictions. You can also order online, so that is a plus. read more

Delicious and quite sloppy! Mike's offered. Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich for the past 4 days though today. Having heard about the original Nashville Hot Chicken sandwiches, we decided to try them. We ordered on line with a pick-up in 40 minutes. The pick up was seamless, other having arrived a few minutes too early. The sandwiches were delicious, but quite sloppy as there is a generous helping of Cole slaw under the chicken in the sandwich. I'm a huge fan of Mike's Subs. They're relatively cheap, quick, and the portions are huge! I ordered garlic bread, a turkey sub, and a Buffalo chicken finger sub via UberEats. Everything was delicious! The garlic bread was nicely buttered and full of flavor. The turkey in my sub was shredded which surprised me because I expected sliced turkey. My mother & I used to go to Mike's Subs all the time , for subs. It's been awhile, but yesterday was my son's 23rd Birthday , so I decided to check out their menu & see what all they have now & their prices. Everything looked & sounded good. I ordered a large cheese pizza with 1/2 pepperoni & 1/2 Banana Peppers. My fiancé got "The Knockout" , I think it was called. A packed steak & cheese sub with veggies & cheese. It looked & smelled amazing. My son got a double (12) order of Chicken Fingers. 1/2 Honey Mustard & 1/2 BBQ. Unfortunately they ended up coming plain, but when I called & told the very nice woman on the phone, she started a new batch & had them here within about 25 minutes, plus a piece of chocolate cake for him for his birthday as a way of apologizing for their mistake. She wouldn't even accept the tip money. The food was delicious, the prices were very reasonable & the customer service was amazing !! I will definitely be ordering from here more often. As an onion fan, I especially love how superrrrrrr thin they are able to slice their onions. Amazing. Tons of meat on the sub, great texture and flavor. Deducted a star b/c I tried to order on the app at 9:01pm and they said they weren't taking any more orders online (they closed at 10pm). This month's offer was 2 subs for $15.99 with a choice of chicken, eggplant, meatball and sausage, all with Parmesan. We decided on a chicken and a meatball sub and they were really great. We were looking to try somewhere new for subs and stumbled upon this Kenmore staple. Overall, I'd say we had a pretty good experience! I ordered online and was able to select a pick up time which was convenient. The restaurant had plenty of parking in the back and the staff was really friendly when I went in to pick up my order! We ordered fries, a mini chicken finger sub, and a whole steak and spinach sub. My chicken finger sub was delicious and my boyfriend really enjoyed his steak sub! The French fries were good too, but for $4 we were expecting a larger amount than what we got. I was just a little bummed because I ordered my sub with provolone cheese and a side of blue cheese dressing but I got neither of those things. I still enjoyed it, though, and definitely wouldn't let this deter me from coming back in the future.
