Each month we pick a place to have lunch this month was milano's Pizza. We went on a Thursday and it was great there are two people there around 11:30 and we were all able to fellowship and laugh and enjoy each other's company. But the best thing of it all was there amazing Pizza and we all had something different I chose vegetarian with the white sauce and the jalapeno poppers were excellent! Although there was one person to make the pizzas and do it all which was so amazing about her. Her name is honey so if you want to go to milano's during the week for lunch with friends family or alone it's a perfect time to enjoy the atmosphere. read more

Please check out Milano Pizza for great customer service, amazing pizza, a delicious and fresh salad, and probably the best cannolis you've ever had. We called in and placed our order for pick up. They called back informing us they were out of mushrooms for our large Rancho pizza and we told them if they'd do olives we'd appreciate it. This pizza was so good. The ratio of sauce to toppings was perfect. We placed our order and within 30 minutes everything was ready for pick up. The staff was nice, parking was easy (in the lot with shared businesses) and inside was clean. I highly recommend you check out Milano Pizza! read more

Terrible. Honestly terrible. Just moved to the neighborhood and was excited to have a pizza place within blocks. First ordering experience was atrocious. Was told 25 minutes for pickup. Turned out to be an hour...once I showed up at the restaurant. Which was essentially empty. Finally got the food! Looking forward to pepperoni pizza and wings! Unfortunately my box contained a sad looking cheese pizza. I also saw the 2 other customers in the restaurant also returning incorrect orders while waiting for my meal. Will not return. Too bad. Lost a neighbor who would have been here at least once a week. read more

I can explain how much I love this place! I used to live around the corner and had a calzone at least once a week when I was pregnant with my daughter. lol service is always been great friendly and their cheesecake is to die for. I moved to Elk Grove and I just started driving all the way over to Tahoe Park just to get a calzone and cheesecake. The fact that they remembered me was lightweight embarrassing but also let me know how great the place really is. I can slide in have a beer. I signed up for online text discounts, but there was no area to put the code online to get the discount.. Came here for a pizza party. Classic old school pizza joint feel. Pizza was fresh, hot and delicious. Claw machines, fake tattoos and gum ball machines reminded me of every pizza joint in the 90's. I came here for a work meeting. They got 6 different large pizzas. All were delicious! The crust was crispy and not too thick and not soggy at all, which is how I like it. The toppings tasted fresh and they were generous on the meat. I LOOOVEEE IT! there was enough space for our unit meeting and they were accommodating for our large group. I would come here again. Came in here by chance because Sac City Brews, closes their kitchen super early...Their loss was Milano's gain. I stopped in with my son to grab a small pizza for each of us. I ordered a BBQ pizza and he got a Pepperoni, plus we shared some wings and fries. The food was pretty good and didn't take long. Because we were sitting next door in the patio area, I checked back a couple of times but the food wasn't ready. But when it was, I believe it was the manager who was nice enough to bring it over to me. So that I didn't have to keep coming back in which I appreciated, since he obviously didn't have to do that. Because of that I've actually come back a couple of times since, when I'm next door since I know the kitchen isn't open and the food is good here. read more

No one is ever in there. Yesterday I realized why. It's beyond terrible. I thought I'd go for something simple. Spaghetti and meatballs. After a 15 min. wait, it comes out in a pre cooked oval tin plate. Entire top was covered in cheese. The spaghetti under the cheese was cold, and there were no meatballs. I tried to order and support local business. I'm literally 6 minutes away from this place and wanted to help them out. Placed an order over the phone for delivery. They said it would take 30 minutes to deliver. Just under 2 hours in to the order I finally cancelled. It's wild that you can't do what you say you are going to do. All I want to do is support local businesses but these guys don't want my money. Although I didn't get my pizza on time I was really happy when the delivery driver still showed up. He gave me my pizza for free. I tipped him heavily. They saved me as a customer and I will definitely order from them again. read more

I ordered a Lg Combo through their website. I went in to pick it up 5 minutes early. When I gave them my name and they did some checking, my pizza hadn't been made. They were super busy and I fell through a cracks, it happens. They guy who missed it owned up and apologized. The manager asked me for my address and told me he would deliver it rather than make me wait. That's excellent customer service! Yes a mistake was made but they owned it and did their best to fix it. Good option if you live/work in the neighborhood, but I'd never drive out of my way for it. Yelp rates 3 stars as "OK", and that's exactly my opinion here (based on 3 combination pizzas so far). Milano Pizza is one of those places that has been around forever and I have definitely neglected to try. My dad, husband, and I decided to give them a try for dinner one night. Luckily, we called in and placed our order while we were out running some errands because they had a substantial wait time. The pizza is tasty with plenty of toppings and a good solid crust. It isn't my favorite pizza in Sacramento but it will definitely satisfy any pizza craving when the mood strikes. The prices are reasonable and the portions are good. The best pepperoni pizza I've had in a long time ! By the way this is my second order this week and both times the service, the food and the employees were on point and consistent. I used to go to another pizza place on 12th and Stockton (no need to mention the name) but things have changed there and the pizza is dry and not worth the cost or wait times. I have enjoyed my food so much that we didn't even have crust to waste. The bread itself is very light and not thick. I always ask them to burn mine a little so the pepperonis curl and they know what I mean the base is golden brown not burnt and it's cooked to perfection. When I order I always call ahead give them at least 30 min. I always show up early to play the arcade games they have in the back and sometimes enjoy a beer. This place is perfect for family dinners or dates! All the food was fresh and delicious ! Very clean and nice ambiance. The owner is very accommodating and kind. Amount of Times I've Been Here: 10+ 5/5 for errrrrrrything! This is my go-to place for pizza because of the quality, portions, service, and location! Everytime I crave pizza and their cheesy garlic breadsticks, I immediately pick up the phone, order, and grab it in 45 minutes. I usually order from this place at least 2x a month! My go-to is medium pizza, half tuscan pesto, half BBQ. I order cheesy garlic breadsticks as well. Whole order takes about 45 minutes, including pick-up time. The owners & employees are really friendly here. Extremely consistent, and I always enjoy their customer service. They have soda to the left that you can pick up as well. I have tried the hot wings before, and it was a good kick to the delicious pizza. Pre-COVID, when people used to come over to my place, I'd order from Milano's. Overall, I will continue to order from here everytime I crave pizza because they're a great group and they make amazing pizza! read more

This is how pizza should taste! The dough was perfect and the toppings were fresh. I ordered the wings and they were totally worth it. Good sized wings, fresh, and cooked right. Sadly it was not the best choice as the pizza was undercooked and the side order of spaghetti was bland and the sauce watery. I don't know if it was just an off day or what. While in the neighborhood of Door Dash, I was craving some pizza. So I looked for some non-chain pizza places and came across Milanos. Never heard of it, so I figured I'd try something new, give some excitement in my life with being at home all day. Ordered up my usual favorite, combination along with a side of potato wedges, 3 oz I think. Now what makes a pizza great varies per person, but a good crust and good flavor is constant for everyone. And right as I opened the box, my mouth instantly became like the Niagara Falls, I was ready. Potato wedges were crispy enough to have a nice crunch to them, with not much grease. Excellent side piece, and pretty cheap, 4 bucks for a decent amount of wedges (picture doesn't account for a handful of wedges already devoured ) The Milano Combo was a great size, great amount of toppings, nice slice width, but who am I kidding, I didn't care about all that, I was just hungry. Phenomenal flavor, not greasy at all, filling slices, plenty of leftovers. Can't get this sort of satisfaction at a chain restaurant, so I will be going back. Favorite pizza I've had in Sac so far. Only complaint, long delivery, about 70 minutes in total but it was worth the wait. read more

The service is awful. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and I've never been treated so poorly. They forced me to use their "Slice" app, and I ordered a cheese pizza with one topping, selecting pepperoni. I would NEVER order just a cheese pizza. If you don't like meat, pick it off. Needless to say, Milano gave me a cheese pizza and claimed I didn't select pepperoni. The girl on the phone didn't care at all and told me to contact the app, after informing me that I was overcharged by more than $6 for a plain cheese pizza. I asked if I could just come by and pick up some cooked pepperoni on the side, which is completely reasonable since I PAID for it, but she refused. They have now lost a lifelong customer and I will tell all of my family and friends to stop going there too. Also, stay away from the salad. The carrots were slimy, like they'd been kept in a plastic bag in the fridge for too long. If you want quality pizza with good service and fresh veggies, go to Giovannis on Folsom Blvd. read more

Good pizza at a good value and a fine place, *but* DO NOT order delivery from here. Ever since they switched to Slice as their delivery ordering platform, pizzas are routinely late by up to an hour. And Slice is a terrible app compared to other delivery apps which provide more information such as live updates. I hope the shop's owners find a better delivery solution soon. My husband has been wanting to try this spot for some time so we decided to have lunch here today. We ordered a small combo pizza with extra sauce and well done crust. The pizza came with extra sauce but unfortunately, not with well done crust which is very important to me. The pizza was good but could have been better if the crust was crispy all the way through. This has become something that's a deal breaker for me....maybe next time I'll ask that they par-bake the crust and see how it turns out? My Wife and I were looking for a good New Jersey Sal's type pizza. We've Search High and Low. Then we came upon Milano's in Sacramento. We've been by this location over 30 years and never once thought to drop in. This particular day while we were looking, we chose Milano's at 3900 60th St, Sacramento, CA 95820. We stopped in and were greeted with a Welcome and smile from Ms. "Sherrid." She was a conversationalist. She gave us the ins and outs of her time here. This is her 'go to place'. We told her we'd hope the same after our meal and visit. The place is spacious. Not what one might think from the outside. Great table space, a Large TV and Self-Serve drink dispenser. We ordered our Large Pepperoni and Sausage pizza with Chicken wings. The meal was a HITTTttt!! We enjoyed the Thin Crust with the sweetness of the Tomato Sauce. Great portions of meat to cheese. Just the right juiciness from the meats with a foldable slice. We got five Bone-in Chicken Wings Hot and Spicy!!! Great value for the meal as it lasted over three days. Put in the oven 10-15 mins next day and it's just as GREAT as the first day. We'll be back!! read more
