Grabbed some food to go about an hour before closing. It seems like they gave me the leftover food they had and didn't make it fresh. Orange chicken was very dry and and very few pieces. Chicken on fire was also pretty dry and again, a very small amount. I looked at the Yelp pictures and the portions shown were large and really saucy. Definitely not what we received. Besides the small portions and dry food, both dishes were merely warm - clearly were sitting a long time. Not only was the food not hot or good, it was very expensive for very little. I NEVER write bad reviews mostly because I work in the restaurant business and can completely relate to my own experiences in it. Unfortunately, my best friend and I had such an awful experience here I just have to express it. My best friend is a vegan and we came here based off stellar reviews on their vegan udon soup and many more options. We came from out of town to hike the local trails and my best friend brought her older (very mellow) dog with her figuring we could sit outside on their patio ( The place is dog-friendly). As soon as we got there the host gave us a hard time about sitting outside and even gave attitude to my best friend about whether we could sit in the shade or not. In addition the owner gave us very dirty looks which wasn't very welcoming. Once we got seated, we ordered and the food came out agonizingly slow ( which is understandable as I get we weren't the only people there - but waiting 40 minutes just seems a little long...). As soon as the waiter put my best friend's soup down she noticed something under a piece of lettuce in her soup... it was a DEAD FLY. Not moving. We think it was long dead before it even got to us. In fact, it was either placed there on purpose or they have flies going into their big bowls of prepared soup. I had the sizzling rice soup with seafood and will want to try the bibimbap next time. My guy had rib eye steak. The food was very fresh and with layered flavors.
