Came on a Monday. They have a happier hour special with discounted drinks and appetizers. Had the chicken bites, cauliflower bites, artichoke dip and 1989 burger with Belgian moon. Also tried the key lime pie. Sat by the bar area. It was quite sunny and you either have to fully close the blinds or keep it open. Blinds are a solid cloth, no in between. The appetizers were tasty. I really liked the artichoke and spinach dip, however, it didn't come with much nacho chips. The burger was tasty and was a full meal. It came with string fries which were crispy. The cauliflower bites looked like it was chicken bites, it was all right. I didn't try the chicken bites because I got full with the other food orders. Service was friendly. Would try again.

Food was tasty with generous portions. Our Server Joanne was very friendly and made us fell welcome. It is on thr dim side so great for date night.

I really like the variety of options they have on the halal menu. I've tried a few options already and I really enjoyed the butternut squash ravioli and chicken bowl (not pictured). The chicken Parmesan is alright and lacks flavour. Definitely, will come back to try more items from the menu. The service is good and friendly. Great to come with coworkers, friends and family

3.5 Visited here on the first day of re-opening as part of COVID phase 2. I was a little apprehensive at first but seeing how many precautions they were taking put me at ease. The staff really take time to wipe everything down (tables, chairs, handles etc). All staff were wearing masks as well, and tables were distanced apart. It felt so nice to eat out and sit in the sun on a Friday evening after work for the first time in what felt like forever. The food at Milestones is nothing special, but it was prepared well and promptly. The plating was nice too, and the patio ambience was great. The fish tacos were nice, I especially liked the aioli served on top. And I ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri which was quite tangy, but nonetheless tasty. I would dine at Milestones again in the future!

Here starts my long string of reviews since I haven't been reviewing much. I came here with my immediate family (a group of 12) for my grandparents anniversary. We called ahead but since it was a busy night they told us it'd be an hour wait. I came a bit early with my uncle just to reserve the table and we sat at the bar, watched some sports and had a few drinks. I haven't been to this milestones in a while. It gives the vibe of a classy sports bar. After being seated, we started with the asian chicken bites. Very good starter and definitely would recommend. It comes with a sweet and sour sauce and a hint of spice. We also got chips and spinach dip - it's okay, not as good as the chicken bites. For my meal I got the 1989 burger, well seasoned and tasty. The fries were pretty good too. Each meal was well portioned and there isn't much to complain about. The service the was great, we had a server that was very nice. Although, there were times where we needed refills on water or extra orders etc. and took some time to get her attention. Anyways, pretty good food. I'd come again for any occasion.

Poor service. The waitress didn't ask how are we doing or if we need anything after we got our food. The manager was a lot nicer. Food was mediocre. Way too many better options in the city so won't be returning.

Well really big portions of the meal that do justice to the price. On a Saturday afternoon barely any wait time - Call prior to arrival we had returned back a couple of times due to long hours of wait time. Absolutely loved the sweet chilli chicken bowl and the crispy brussel sprouts. The seafood spaghetti had a strong fish sauce or oyster sauce flavor - not much for me but a sea food lover may enjoy this. The brunch menu looked pretty good - may give it a try. Service was pretty good and fast.

Surfside salad was pretty boring. It was healthy, but I should have tried something else.

Would I go again if someone bought again? Yes. Would I go if I had a date or wanted to impress? Likely not. It's a chain and a nice chain, but it didn't really do it for me. The hosts were friendly, but it just felt like a veneer. The waitress was phenomenal, so that made up for things. She was very attentive, very good and generally what you would want in a waitress. We had a wide variety of appetizers which seemed to me to be a couple steps above bar food. Nothing great, nothing terrible. I kind of liked the sweet yam fries the best. I had the surfside salad. I don't think I would get it again. A couple small chunks of salmon and a few shrimp of unknown origin in a bland salad. If you want healthy, this may be the thing for you. As a taste and meal, it just wasn't prepared very well and was about what you would consider average. Pro-tip: Parking is tough, so don't park where you might get towed. Pay attention to who allows which customers to park where.

+1 updates review. This one kinda late but we ate here for my brothers bday/Mother's Day. 2 in 1! Service was much better this day and it was busy. Quite inconsistent to the last times I've came here and mentioned slow service. Food was great and they were having a fix prix menu for Mother's Day plus a coupon to use for brunch next time!

Excellent!!! Went there for dinner... nice ambiance, good service, good selections in the menu. We had Steak Frites, medium-rare. It was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. A bit mild for taste buds, but has rich flavour. Also had Cakes by the Ocean (crisp quinoa-crusted shrimp ans salmon cakes). It was delicious!! The presentation of the foods were superb and appetizing.

This was the "official" dinner for my wife's 50th birthday. We went her cause we wanted a little more upscale but not crazy expensive. Our waitress was bubbly & delightful, smiling & polite. The food....not great. I had the 3 part meal combo. Mine was the meatloaf sliders with Koby mustard & crispy onion strings which were hot & tasty. The combo was with Portobello Mushroom Chicken & veggies. Pasta & Chicken were very good but the veggies were cold. Dessert was a Ganache Torte w ice cream which was good. Wife's was Caesar with grilled chicken & cheesecake. All good but not great. I believe that if you position your restaurant as a quality house & your place is very quiet on a Sunday nite....you should turn out piping hot great quality food. Not the mediocre stuff we ate here. I would spend my hard earned dollars at a place that over represents themselves again. Not a do-over.

We got our food within 5 minutes from ordering. We ordered the Chicken Cutlet Omurice (4/5), Spicy King Akao (4/5), Croquette (3/5). The Chicken Cutlet Omurice was filling. The cutlet's breading was different to the usual ones we've had. The curry sauce as well. It tasted a lot like a home-cooked meal. The Spicy King Akao was a bowl of heartwarming ramen. The noodles were bouncy with a perfect chew to them. It wasn't as spicy as I wanted it to be but they do have chilli sauce on each table. The meat had a nice char to them giving this ramen a hint of smokiness. The Croquette was crispy on the outside and the potato inside was smooth. Overall, the portions were decently filling. They also have Cotti Coffee in the same restaurant which was nice.

But Men-ya looked good and I can't say no to ramen, so we returned recently to try their offerings. I'm always drawn to anything on the spicy side, so obviously I ordered the Spicy King Akao. It arrived a short time later and the broth was solid (and also fairly spicy). It perhaps didn't have that deep depth of flavor I associate with the best bowls of ramen, but it was quite tasty nonetheless. The various other components were good, with the exception being the three pieces of pork belly. It had this gamey, leftovery flavor that I found really off-putting. I ate one bite and didn't bother with the rest. It was inedible. Other than that, though, I enjoyed the food and the ambiance. The service was great, too.

Can't think of a bad thing to say. It's super clean (incl washrooms). The young woman who took my order walked me through their menu. I ordered the Rick's Fried Chicken sandwich (which she told me was award winning in Mississauga (don't know by who). And got regular fries as a side. Order was ready in a couple minutes and it looked great. But tastes even better. The fries are hot, crunchy with a hint of spice and a good level of salt for fries. The Rick's Fried Chicken sandwich was also hot with a great tandoori sauce. Pickles and lettuce and other garnish. It was crunchy, spicy, - so good - and on a great bun. I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

The chicken shawarma wrap was soft (the chicken was moist and flavorful). The tandoori melt was flavored excellently- so many amazing textures coming from the different toppings. I've only tried it myself once, and honestly, it wasn't quite to my personal taste. But food is very subjective, and I'm clearly in the minority in my family! My kids both when they were teenagers and now as adults--have always loved it, and my nephew and niece are big fans as well. The portions were good from what I remember, and the restaurant always seems busy, which says a lot. Just because it wasn't my favorite doesn't mean it isn't doing something right. When so many young people keep coming back and ordering from the same place year after year, that's usually a sign that they're doing a good job. I have to say the beef stew was my favourite, it was flavourful and the meat was tender. The service was great. It was a chilly in there, the only criticism would be that it could use some personal touches, the restaurant itself seems a little bare. But the food made up for it.

On our visit, we ordered the "Chicken on Brochette" and the "Salmon Steak", and both were delicious. The chicken was well marinated and tender, the salmon was perfectly cooked, and the portions felt just right. Overall, the food quality and the relaxed atmosphere make it a nice place for a casual dinner. That said, the customer service was disappointing. They don't allow simple modifications to meals, even for dietary needs like avoiding gluten, and they weren't very friendly about it either. The first thing that I noticed was the cool interior from the stained glass lights to the colorful walls and vintage fixtures around. Our server was very helpful in explaining the menu and we had to try their famous deli meat sandwiches where you can get a combo which comes with coleslaw or fries or get the sandwich by itself. Smoked Meat Sandwich - Decided to get the combo for this sandwich and the portion was large. The fries were a classic steak fry that were fresh and not too dense. The sandwich itself was filled to the brim with the smoked meat that was soft and had a light salty flavor. Corned Beef Sandwich - Got this one by itself and was my favorite out of the three meat options. It was a little spicy and had a richer flavor with the same soft texture. I tried a little of the pastrami as well but it didn't have too distinct a difference from the other two meat options. While the portions were big and the meat was fresh, the sandwiches didn't have too much flavor and were solely deli meat so I'd want to try some other menu items next time.
