We drove 20 minutes with the whole family specifically to this location because it's supposed to stay open later on Fridays and Saturdays. According to the posted hours, you're open until 10 PM. We arrived at 9:50 PM, only to find the store already completely closed--lights off, doors shut, no one inside. Why advertise extended hours if you're not actually going to honor them? It's incredibly disappointing, especially when families make an effort to come out late expecting service. Please update your hours or make sure your staff follows the posted schedule.

While the location and drinks were very good, unfortunately the service was lacking. The young man at the counter wasn't one bit friendly. We watched him be this way with everyone that came in after us. The drinks were good and we enjoyed everything else, but I wouldn't go back if he was the employee at the counter.

I tend to be pretty indecisive when it comes to ordering drinks, with that being said the staff were so patient! They were also able to recommend a few drinks for me to try as well. Stopped by Milk Cha-Cha after church today. It's a nice spot for a refreshing drink. I tried the Strawberry Cha Tea. It's smooth and you could taste the freshness of the strawberries. The service was fast and Carlton was incredibly friendly and agreed to the photo. The atmosphere is relaxed and chic. I would definitely return.

This was a cute little boba spot my friend took me to for a little dessert after dinner. The place is absolutely beautiful and so cute with all the Boba decor. There were a lot of options so the staff was helpful in choosing options and explaining what certain drinks were. My go to is brown sugar milk tea and although they didn't have that specific one, I went with the brown sugar mocha and that was just as good. I usually don't get boba with mine but I did this time and the boba pearls added a nice texture and burst of flavor with the mocha. They were warm and were a strong brown sugar taste which paired perfectly with the mocha flavor. My friend got the Oreo slush which she said was amazing. For both drinks I paid about $15 which wasn't bad for the size of the cup. If you are in the charlotte area, please stop by and try it out!

Stopped by here after lunch to grab some boba and I was a bit disappointed in my order. I got the blended mango and strawberry with popping strawberry boba, but it was quite bland. You couldn't taste the tea very well and the fruit flavors mainly tasted like ice. The service was fine and the ambiance was lax. Overall, a lackluster boba experience.

Fresh strawberry tea! Fresh fruit blended with green tea poured over ice. So refreshing!! Great flavor. The only thing I didn't love was the price. This sucker costs over $7. The staff was friendly. I asked the gentlemen who took my order a bunch of questions (because I'd never had Boba before) and he wasn't the best at answering them. He'd point at the menu and assume I knew what he meant. But I still enjoyed my choice!

This place is too cute! Upon walking in staff were immediately alert and attentive. We were greeted and they were available for ALL of our questions. And I had a lot. I've never had Boba Tea so when I heard about this place I invited my niece to come check it out because she's been trying to get me to try boba tea. I had the chunky pineapple tea with pineapple jelly topping because I love pineapple everything, especially drinks. It was delicious. My niece had the Thai Tea Milk Tea with milk foam. She said it was great. Inside there are a few tables for 2-4 folks. There are games on the table. There's a color printer inside for cost. Menus are everywhere. Written on the wall, printed and left on the counter... Three people were working which was sufficient for the flow of customers which ranged from just us to heavy. Now I had already gotten my drink when I saw the time limited sign for the dragon fruit tea. Man!!! I so would have gotten that drink. Oh well, guess I gotta go back. I have to mention as I'm writing this review my husband is eyeing my drink (which he already tasted) and asking for the address. (It's in the South Park area on Piedmont Row) Easy walk from the free parking garage. I just gave it to him. He'll owe me. Check them out!

The brown sugar milk swirl with boba still has me in a choke hold. I crave it frequently!! It's a great place to come for work or to meet a friend because it's nice and quiet. Friendly staff and convenient location with ample parking in the garage. Love this boba tea spot!

Some of the best boba in the Charlotte area! The tea is always extremely fresh and the boba is soft. Prices are a little high, but understandable considering that the tea is homemade and no powders are used. Ambiance is also pretty chill and there's free parking at the garage nearby. This is definitely one if my go to spots.

I've been here several times before for events, but I was finally able to make it back on my own so I can actually review it now. On our most recent visit, my husband and I shared a Ube Slush and Mango Milk Swirl. We loved both of them. My personal favorite was the Mango Milk Swirl. Their boba is a bit too mushy for my preference, so I opt for their jellies as toppings instead. Their drinks always taste fresh. It's definitely worth a stop if you haven't been!

Stepping into Milk Cha Cha Boba Tea felt like entering a secret society for boba aficionados, where the password is 'extra tapioca, please!' My family and I, newly minted members of the Charlotte boba scene, were on a quest for the Holy Grail of bubble tea, and oh boy, did we strike liquid gold. The Strawberry Matcha Boba for the parental units (that's us) wasn't just a drink; it was a culinary ballet, where strawberries and matcha performed a pas de deux in our cups, dressed in a tutu of tapioca pearls. It was so beautiful, I half-expected it to start reciting Shakespeare. Meanwhile, my 2 kiddos dived into the Brown Sugar and Mango Tea Boba like they were on a treasure hunt in the Caribbean, minus the pirates and scurvy, of course. The ambiance of Milk Cha Cha is what I imagine a unicorn's living room looks like -- clean, bright, and adorned with boba pillows and boba stuffed animals that I'm convinced come to life when the shop closes. It's the kind of place where you half expect the furniture to start singing about the joys of tea. In conclusion, Milk Cha Cha Boba Tea is more than just a boba shop; it's a whimsical escape to a world where the drinks are sweet, the ambiance is sweeter, and you leave feeling like you've just been hugged by a giant, friendly boba pillow. Five stars for the tea, and an extra star for making us feel like part of the boba aristocracy. If you're in Charlotte and craving some bubble magic, this is the place to be. Just don't blame me if you start speaking in boba puns afterwards; it's an infectious side effect of visiting.

We arrived right at 11:30 on a Sunday! This place is so adorable. The customer service was awesome, getting good customer service now a days seems to be hard. The young ladies asked if we knew what we wanted. Showed us the menu & the area that they have print outs of the favorite drinks. I ended up getting the brown sugar milk swirl with soy milk instead of whole milk with boba of course. To be honest the prices in my opinion are very worth it, I will definitely be back. read more

Grapefruit tea: fresh grapefruit purée blended with ice into ice slush. Some pieces of grapefruit in it too. Not too sweet (we did 25% sugar). Super refreshing with a hint of grapefruit bitterness. Jasmine green tea and crystal boba on the bottom. The crystal boba is chewy and mildly sweet. Mango matcha latte: asked for 0% sugar. Matcha latte layer is not sweet and great matcha. Mango layer is also very fresh with real mango and not too sweet. Two layers blended together: perfect. Crystal boba also goes well with this drink. read more

We decided to try a different boba spot than our fav and the hubs chose this spot. It's in a nice location and parking wasn't too bad! We parked near the entrance of the shopping center and it was a quick walk over. The cashier was friendly and nice as it was our first time there. Offering suggestions of toppings and explaining the menu! Thanks friend! The hubs chose the Fresh Strawberry Yakult with boba. He enjoyed it & the sip I tried was yummy! I actually much preferred his strawberry drink than my strawberry milk swirl. I added strawberry popping boba & strawberry jelly. Even with the added topping the flavor was ehh not so exciting. When they say milk swirl it was like legit just milk added in the cup. At least that's what it tasted like to me. Truly not my favorite so I'd probably opt for a different drink or maybe get the slush version. (If you don't want sweet or only a slight hint, that may be the drink for you) on the other hand I really enjoyed my other drink, lychee green tea with lychee jelly! That was perfect and so yummy! Deliciously made fruit drinks and teas crafted by the hands of super friendly and welcoming staff of Milk Cha-Cha. Their establishment is super cute and the menu offers a variety of drinks from Yakult drinks to milk teas and fruit drinks. For the soft opening, I ordered a mango Yakult that brought me back to my childhood of drinking Yakult in those small bottles! It was definitely tasty. One of my friends invited me to their tasting event. I am a big fan of milk tea & fruit tea and have tried lots of milk tea places. I 100% recommend everyone to check it out. I tried both classic milk tea with boba and tea with milk cap. What I love most is they use very fresh ingredients so it tastes really good. The boba has a great chewy texture and the milk cap has different level of flavors and rich in taste. Their menu has plenty of drinks to choose from. This boba shop has a nice & cute indoors with some merch to buy. I have been here many times by myself and with friends and we love the drinks and customer service. They have many drinks to choose from and they add a lot of new drinks. There are also many toppings to choose from and they are delicious. The staff are very friendly and wear their masks during this Covid pandemic. I also love how they have BTS events with special drinks and free goodies. They have the best green tea drinks and yakult drinks I've ever had. Five dollars for a yakult drink is a steal! Their boba is also really sweet (might be too sweet so will order 50 percent in the future). I would order the milk cap teas. There carbonated drinks are interesting but nothing really impactful other than being Instagram-able. Be sure to understand the level of sweetness before ordering. read more

First time visiting Milk Cha Cha was yesterday, I ordered the Thai Milk Tea w/ boba & they did not disappoint! I love that you can choose your sweetness level. 50% sweetness is what I chose and it was perfect. Super cute, very clean and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The crew was very helpful I loved it so much I had to come back again today and try another drink, so this time I went with the Matcha Milk Tea w/ boba and red beans. Both drinks were amazing! I tried milk tea with boba, milk tea with milk cap and fruit tea with milk cap during their tasting event. Their ingredients are really fresh, the flavor of milk tea has an excellent balance between milk and tea, and I love the creamy milk cap and the fresh taste of fruit tea. They have a various number of choices, will definitely try other flavors! Highly recommend! read more

I thought the drink was delicious! The staff was extremely professional and nice! They are awesome! The only reason for 3 stars is that there are no dairy alternatives. I would imagine that most places would have these options since they are in an abundance. Also I think it's important to label which toppings are vegan. The boba was very good, but if you are texture sensitive the fruit boba milkshakes are not for you since they do have a texture. The people making our order and taking our order were very nice and the boba came very fast. The place was super nice and welcoming and a very laid back vibe. The drinks were amazing and sweet (so make sure to specify how much sugar you'd like!) but the customer service during my visit was absolutely horrible. I went at around 3 pm and there was only a group of 4 people sitting down with their drinks. No one greets me as I walk in, both the employees were sitting on chairs while using their phones. I tried asking the gentleman at the cash register for some help explaining the drinks but he did not seem interested at all. He ended up not being useful or friendly and overall ruined the experience. I wish the customer service would be better especially since it is in a nicer area. read more

This is THE spot for a boba fix in Southpark! I swung by on a Thursday afternoon. Parking was easy and there was no line. I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Swirl. It is like drinking dessert! The employees were all wearing masks and they have a shield up for the cashier. They are currently take-out only. Let me tell you the bubble tea tastes just as good in your car! We usually go here for their sponsored BTS events with BTS CLT but we also go when we are in the area. They are super friendly and quick with our order. The place is always clean and organized. There is always parking in the parking garage nearby and sometimes on the street out front. It's very easy to get in and out. If you follow them on social media you can always find out when they are having specials. My daughter and I love their Taro and my daughter also likes their Matcha. I was happy when I heard that there's a new boba place in Charlotte so I went to check it out and the first thing i noticed was the place is very clean and neat. I got their brown sugar swirl and the strawberry matcha latte and boi it was good it's not that super sweet which i really really like. I don't mean to rain on your parade, but after trying this place for the 5th time, I am done feeling unsatisfied. It's really quite expensive here, and not a lot of option. Quality wise it's good. You get the Real tea instead if powder. But honestly tea should not be this expensive. If you order a drink and add a topping, you are walking out at around $10. Sweet little boba tea shop that has a good amount of seating. It is a change and a bit different from the other boba tea empire chains like sharetea and kung fu tea in town haha. Their menu is not as huge as the other places and is also a bit different. the staff is really nice and answered a lot of my silly questions (since again their menu is not your traditional menu). I got a fresh strawberry tea and my friend got a something derjeeling milk tea which was recommended to us. Oh BOY IT WAS AWESOME! This bubble tea is amazing. Like really delicious. And their bubbles are fantastic. They're soft, chewy, and really flavorful. It's probably the best bubble tea in town. Why one star you ask? They really cheap out on how many bubbles they give you. They give about half as much as Sharetea, Kung Fu, Gong Cha, etc. The first time I went I thought it was a fluke because it was near closing time. But when I went back again it was the same thing.
