We drove 20 minutes with the whole family specifically to this location because it's supposed to stay open later on Fridays and Saturdays. According to the posted hours, you're open until 10 PM. We arrived at 9:50 PM, only to find the store already completely closed--lights off, doors shut, no one inside. Why advertise extended hours if you're not actually going to honor them? It's incredibly disappointing, especially when families make an effort to come out late expecting service. Please update your hours or make sure your staff follows the posted schedule.

While the location and drinks were very good, unfortunately the service was lacking. The young man at the counter wasn't one bit friendly. We watched him be this way with everyone that came in after us. The drinks were good and we enjoyed everything else, but I wouldn't go back if he was the employee at the counter.

I tend to be pretty indecisive when it comes to ordering drinks, with that being said the staff were so patient! They were also able to recommend a few drinks for me to try as well. Stopped by Milk Cha-Cha after church today. It's a nice spot for a refreshing drink. I tried the Strawberry Cha Tea. It's smooth and you could taste the freshness of the strawberries. The service was fast and Carlton was incredibly friendly and agreed to the photo. The atmosphere is relaxed and chic. I would definitely return.

This was a cute little boba spot my friend took me to for a little dessert after dinner. The place is absolutely beautiful and so cute with all the Boba decor. There were a lot of options so the staff was helpful in choosing options and explaining what certain drinks were. My go to is brown sugar milk tea and although they didn't have that specific one, I went with the brown sugar mocha and that was just as good. I usually don't get boba with mine but I did this time and the boba pearls added a nice texture and burst of flavor with the mocha. They were warm and were a strong brown sugar taste which paired perfectly with the mocha flavor. My friend got the Oreo slush which she said was amazing. For both drinks I paid about $15 which wasn't bad for the size of the cup. If you are in the charlotte area, please stop by and try it out!

Stopped by here after lunch to grab some boba and I was a bit disappointed in my order. I got the blended mango and strawberry with popping strawberry boba, but it was quite bland. You couldn't taste the tea very well and the fruit flavors mainly tasted like ice. The service was fine and the ambiance was lax. Overall, a lackluster boba experience.

Fresh strawberry tea! Fresh fruit blended with green tea poured over ice. So refreshing!! Great flavor. The only thing I didn't love was the price. This sucker costs over $7. The staff was friendly. I asked the gentlemen who took my order a bunch of questions (because I'd never had Boba before) and he wasn't the best at answering them. He'd point at the menu and assume I knew what he meant. But I still enjoyed my choice!

This place is too cute! Upon walking in staff were immediately alert and attentive. We were greeted and they were available for ALL of our questions. And I had a lot. I've never had Boba Tea so when I heard about this place I invited my niece to come check it out because she's been trying to get me to try boba tea. I had the chunky pineapple tea with pineapple jelly topping because I love pineapple everything, especially drinks. It was delicious. My niece had the Thai Tea Milk Tea with milk foam. She said it was great. Inside there are a few tables for 2-4 folks. There are games on the table. There's a color printer inside for cost. Menus are everywhere. Written on the wall, printed and left on the counter... Three people were working which was sufficient for the flow of customers which ranged from just us to heavy. Now I had already gotten my drink when I saw the time limited sign for the dragon fruit tea. Man!!! I so would have gotten that drink. Oh well, guess I gotta go back. I have to mention as I'm writing this review my husband is eyeing my drink (which he already tasted) and asking for the address. (It's in the South Park area on Piedmont Row) Easy walk from the free parking garage. I just gave it to him. He'll owe me. Check them out!

The brown sugar milk swirl with boba still has me in a choke hold. I crave it frequently!! It's a great place to come for work or to meet a friend because it's nice and quiet. Friendly staff and convenient location with ample parking in the garage. Love this boba tea spot!

Some of the best boba in the Charlotte area! The tea is always extremely fresh and the boba is soft. Prices are a little high, but understandable considering that the tea is homemade and no powders are used. Ambiance is also pretty chill and there's free parking at the garage nearby. This is definitely one if my go to spots.

I've been here several times before for events, but I was finally able to make it back on my own so I can actually review it now. On our most recent visit, my husband and I shared a Ube Slush and Mango Milk Swirl. We loved both of them. My personal favorite was the Mango Milk Swirl. Their boba is a bit too mushy for my preference, so I opt for their jellies as toppings instead. Their drinks always taste fresh. It's definitely worth a stop if you haven't been!

Stepping into Milk Cha Cha Boba Tea felt like entering a secret society for boba aficionados, where the password is 'extra tapioca, please!' My family and I, newly minted members of the Charlotte boba scene, were on a quest for the Holy Grail of bubble tea, and oh boy, did we strike liquid gold. The Strawberry Matcha Boba for the parental units (that's us) wasn't just a drink; it was a culinary ballet, where strawberries and matcha performed a pas de deux in our cups, dressed in a tutu of tapioca pearls. It was so beautiful, I half-expected it to start reciting Shakespeare. Meanwhile, my 2 kiddos dived into the Brown Sugar and Mango Tea Boba like they were on a treasure hunt in the Caribbean, minus the pirates and scurvy, of course. The ambiance of Milk Cha Cha is what I imagine a unicorn's living room looks like -- clean, bright, and adorned with boba pillows and boba stuffed animals that I'm convinced come to life when the shop closes. It's the kind of place where you half expect the furniture to start singing about the joys of tea. In conclusion, Milk Cha Cha Boba Tea is more than just a boba shop; it's a whimsical escape to a world where the drinks are sweet, the ambiance is sweeter, and you leave feeling like you've just been hugged by a giant, friendly boba pillow. Five stars for the tea, and an extra star for making us feel like part of the boba aristocracy. If you're in Charlotte and craving some bubble magic, this is the place to be. Just don't blame me if you start speaking in boba puns afterwards; it's an infectious side effect of visiting.

This place can be expensive. The day before I visited another bubble tea location in Charlotte and my beverage was in the $5 range. My similar order here was $7+. It was a nice treat on a hot day and I signed up for their rewards program to hopefully have a better value next time. read more

With the growing number of bubble tea places in Charlotte, Milk Cha-Cha is a refreshing change with their variety of tea selections and instagram worthy presentation. The mango yakult is a must try on my list. Their boba was on the hard side at first but have since changed the recipe which is much softer now! Customer service was great and they are taking Covid precautions seriously by allowing limited people in the shop at a time. I will definite come back. read more

Out of this world. Absolutely amazing. Super refreshing. I had the strawberry yakult and added boba. Yakult is a probiotic. They have a wide variety of options you can order for boba, blended fruit, milk tea and soda drinks. Inside is very cute and clean. Staff is helpful. Will be back to try everything. All employees were wearing a mask, social distancing and provided sanitation for guests. There was one employee in particular that was phenomenal! She had blue hair and the best customer service EVER! She was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable about the menu. I love the welcoming atmosphere and cute layout of the store. Took the family to Milk Cha-Cha and we absolutely loved it! From the moment we entered the establishment the atmosphere was filled with great vibes. Perhaps it was the chill music or the welcoming staff. The tea was amazing! Peach would have to be my personal favorite. Truly up for debate as every tea we ordered all tasted really great. Hong Kong was also a strong pleaser at our table. Speaking of table, they have board games at each table. Definitely a great way to people to stay awhile, enjoy some tasty refreshments, and unwind from the crazy world outside. Rest assured, we will be regular at Milk Cha-Cha! read more

honestly it made me sad to leave a 1 star review because the tea is delicious. however, the two employees were so unfriendly and stayed seated until after we gave them our order. both of them were on their phones the entire time and never greeted us or tried to have a conversation and we were the only two people in the store. the guy seemed irritated we were giving them business in the first place. my partner and I sat and were looking at things to do on our phones because it's our first trip to clt. they never told us our order was ready or called over to us. we probably sat there an extra 3-4 minutes before we realized the drinks were ready. it was a big turn off and I will just find another place to get boba tea in charlotte. read more

It seems like bubble tea spots are popping up all over town all of a sudden... which is Amazing! But I'm especially excited about milk cha-cha for many reasons. There isn't another boba tea shop in this part of town. They are local and not a franchise. The choices are limited, and while some may see this as a con, I see it as a pro. The flavors and types of drinks are varied enough to accommodate different cravings without being overwhelming :) they make their drinks with real milk and not powdered milk, which definitely makes a difference in how the beverage tastes! They don't offer different milk alternatives, but you have the option to pick an entirely dairy free drink! Their staff is polite and friendly and the ambiance is bright and clean. Granted you're not going to be sitting in there and enjoying your tea any time soon, but I like seeing my drink be made in a clean facility. Last, but not the least - their drinks are delicious. I've now tried three very different ones - the Hong Kong milk tea (if you're looking for a classic black tea option), the strawberry yakult (for something fruity and caffeine free) and the rose oolong tea with milk foam (for something absolutely delicious!!!) I've been here several times now, and I can say they've always been quick in preparing my drink, and everything I've ordered has been tasty. The service is good as well! The girl who took my order today was very apologetic about having to sub Earl Grey for Darjeeling milk tea since they were out of Darjeeling, but it really made me wonder - after adding milk and sugar, could anyone tell the difference between the two? Anyways, a tasting note - if you often find yourself saying American desserts are "too sweet", I'd recommend ordering 25% sugar here. Lastly, great job on the eye makeup! I never leave reviews but this place was amazing! The guy who took our order was so nice and the customer service was great. We had small talk and every time we chose to order something the girl bobarista there shook her head in agreement and I thought it was so sweet and cute ! Yakult is top tier. I'm Korean and the yakult tasted just like the mini yakult my mom would buy me when I was younger. The sparkling cha chas are great and I love their shaped jellies. Their milk tea, the one that starts with a D is so flavorful, they def have strong tea and i love that. Amazing experience, place is clean and the decoration is neat and pretty !! read more

Absolutely fantastic tea! I had the strawberry tea made with fresh strawberries and added lychee jelly. Easily the best and freshest tea I've had from any milk tea store. I got the normal level sweetness and for the first time I didn't think it was sickly sweet. Usually I have to ask for 50% sweetness from places like this so I was pleasantly surprised. They have a massive menu with a bunch of add-ins to choose from so there's something for everyone. I'm excited to taste my way through the menu because I know there can't be a bad thing on it! read more

I wish I could be directed over to someone who I can speak to about this horrible incident and have management checked out there firstly and then fire that horrible girl because she does not need to work there. If she is so unhappy to work there, then she should be working at McDonald's or any other fast food joint where you are expected bad service and nothing more. This cannot go unchecked.

It feels like walking into an old timey little grocer, but this market is dedicated to natural produce and promoting good health. What brings me back though is their little kitchen where they whip up smoothies, wraps, salads, and some delicious veggie burgers. They offer spicy black bean burgers, and most recently I tried a soy blend burger made with various nuts and other ingredients. These aren't the type of veggie burgers that try to mirror regular burgers, they have their own unique textures and tastes. Originally it was a bit out of my comfort zone as an avid meat lover but I love to try new things and I have to say they are quite delicious. As I start to learn more about ways to improve my health I wouldn't be surprised if I start to come in more regularly. I highly recommend coming in to browse. Even if it doesn't seem like your cup of tea, you're likely to be surprised by how many awesome things they have for sale! It also helps that the employees are super friendly and they usually play great tunes!

They were as dense and unappealing as the mini biscuits. The chicken itself was fine. If I was only rating the chicken I'd probably give it a 3.5. The best dish was actually the "GOAT." It was served with a Standard biscuit which we thought was still too dense and dry. I recommend finding an independent restaurant that serves real, "from scratch" food. I should point out that the service crew in the dining room who delivered the food as well as provided cleanup and assistance, were exceptional. They were friendly, courteous, and focused on customer service. I'm sure they deserve more than they are being paid. It was obvious many of them were spanish-speaking immigrants. Sweet little boba tea shop that has a good amount of seating. It is a change and a bit different from the other boba tea empire chains like sharetea and kung fu tea in town haha. Their menu is not as huge as the other places and is also a bit different. the staff is really nice and answered a lot of my silly questions (since again their menu is not your traditional menu). I got a fresh strawberry tea and my friend got a something derjeeling milk tea which was recommended to us. Oh BOY IT WAS AWESOME! I was surprised to learn that they actually use real fresh strawberries in their fresh strawberry tea, which I haven't seen in other places. Maybe that's what made the difference in taste. This bubble tea is amazing. Like really delicious. And their bubbles are fantastic. They're soft, chewy, and really flavorful. It's probably the best bubble tea in town. Why one star you ask? They really cheap out on how many bubbles they give you. They give about half as much as Sharetea, Kung Fu, Gong Cha, etc. The first time I went I thought it was a fluke because it was near closing time. But when I went back again it was the same thing. And the people behind the counter told me more bubbles were an extra charge? No thanks. They're not any cheaper to begin with! Such a shame. read more

We tried it out with the owner's taste testing and everything ranging from their fresh strawberry tea to yakult cha cha and sparlking chacha is really good! I tried the regular bubble tea with "less" sugar in a tasting event, and it was made perfectly. There are a ton of options/combinations, so it's bound to please everyone in your party. There are lots of fun flavors - I'll have to try the mango tea in May.
