Quality of the ice cream 10/10. Kelly's experience 5/10. Extremely limited flavor options due to the size of the space. Prices are inflated maybe due to being a more upscale location? And I highly value being able to get a single scoop with two flavors, this is not an option at this location. This is a surprise walking in to see a really nice full bar with 20 drafts, most of them from a local brewery called Ravenous Pig. The food is also of Ravenous Pig origins and I the menu has some impressive offerings. A full line up of snacks from a Shallot dip with chips for $9 to a Biscuit with honey butter for $4. Bonus for fairly priced snacks! A couple really great chicken sandwiches, including a chicken biscuit and another full line up of sandwiches. This menu is stacked, even has two smash burger options. I went with the Kale & Apple Salad, it was super fresh with a good size portion of tender juicy smoked chicken breast. 5 stars for putting up a solid salad option in Orlando. Checked out the new Milkhouse. Very cool vibe. Enjoyed ravenous pig taproom brews, Kelly's ice cream, and Pizza Bruno's cicchetti kitchen's fried mozzarella. Wish they had pizza or some larger apps to share with a group. They only had small plates. I've been meaning to try this spot and finally did last night with some friends for happy hour. We ordered one round of drinks (I had an aperol spritz) and the three of us shared the salumi tower. We were all satisfied with our drinks and the salumi tower had a decent portion of meat & cheeses for the $18 price tag. My only complaint was that the service was lagging. We had finished our first round of drinks and were hoping to order another, but after 15-20 mins went by without our server returning to our able to check in on us, we decided to close out and continue on with our evening elsewhere. It was fairly busy so I'll give the benefit of the doubt and hope the service will be better my second visit. read more

This place sucks! We came with a party of 12 and asked to be seated outside to be more convenient. As soon as we recommended sitting outside, the waiter told us that we weren't allowed a server since we would be outside. We had to place our order inside which was super inconvenient. The waiters were very impatient when handing out orders. We also were served plastic cups while everyone else in the restaurant had glass cups for every beverage. Overall, we were just treated unfairly and considering the amount of money we spent.... things should've went a little differently. read more

A pleasant surprise! Visiting the area for business and kept striking out on non-chain restaurant food. Got a recommendation to try Milkhouse and it did not disappoint. It's sit-down service with a few different concepts built into a modern bar area. The main menu is Italian tapas and the flavor profiles were all fantastic. We were with a group of 6 and tried almost everything on the menu. The pork ribs were the standout and absolutely to die for. There is also a coffee spot, ice cream spot and craft beer all built in here. We had a great time, the service was friendly and we found it to be well-priced for the quality of food it is. We heard about this restaurant from a friend, we all decided to grab some drinks and appetizers together!! First things first we did not make reservation. We were sat immediately, we went in around 9:45pm. One of the really cool things about this location is there are other vendors, Kelly's ice, and foxtail coffee. For my drink I had to try the Coquito, yes they actually have Coquito on the menu!!! It was so creamy, and full of wonderful holiday flavors!! Just wow!! Felt like Christmas Day!! We had the burrata, which was so well seasoned, and the bread was so fluffy and toasted perfectly!! The salami tower was perfect and the five of us could even finish it!! The staff was super friendly and kind. The restaurant is very clean and love the decor! The food came out just as fast as we ordered it. They get two dollar signs from me $$ very affordable for everyone. We can't wait to go try some other awesome dishes!! read more

We stumbled upon Milkhouse after visiting a brewery nearby and I have to say, I love this little hidden gem! I love small plates and anywhere that I can get a tasty cocktail and Milkhouse has both! It was just my husband and myself so we had no problem finding two seats at the bar around 7:30pm. The bartenders were friendly, attentive, and provided great recommendations. This was my first time stopping in and it was such a hit! Super cute and trendy with plenty of seating and a really nice patio area (pup friendly!). We tried the iced cafe con leche and the hot cafe con leche. I had to try the cinnamon raisin bagel with honey butter spread from Bagel Bruno - delicious! Smothered with honey butter and I was not complaining. They had a bunch of cute merchandise and items for sale (coffee mugs, ornaments, T shirts, pins, and reusable bags). I've never been to The Milk District and this was a great introduction. Friendly staff and a nice variety of options for drinks (both coffee and alcoholic beverages). The ice cream from Kelly's never disappoints. We tried the Mon-Fri special menu which was such a good deal! A $4 Smashburger and it was delicious, can't wait to have it again. The fried pickles were good but sweet (which for some, that's a plus!) Feels like a welcoming place for many because not only are the servers kind but there were families enjoying the space as well. It was pure luck to happen across the listing of the Milkhouse restaurant located on North Bumby, a gem of a neighborhood "Cheers" sort of place you'd want to make your go-to eatery. It was busy but with plenty of different kinds of seating, bar or tables inside or out with a wide assortment of customers ranging from infants to elders that let you know, everyone is welcomed, individuals to groups. It's even pet friendly, the doggies seeming to enjoy the patio area. The look is funky and eclectic with TV screens to keep you entertained besides some offerings of live music now and again not to mention standing trivia events. Something for everyone, including an easy way to go for a birthday celebration. We had four different servers attend us during our first visit there, all with a friendly way that made you feel they liked doing this. We were guided in some menu recommendations that turned out spot on. Delish! As our primary server said about the menu "we have something for everyone!" as the offerings catered to a variety of eating preferences. I asked for a "tweak" on my order. No problem. Certainly they take care of big appetites as the portions are generous (even if they say it's the small serving). Of note, we are persnicketive tea drinkers and it's very seldom we can get a "get right" cup of tea when dining out. Our server Inea had us covered. It was a precision service of tea for us both. They know their way around coffee and tea alike. We accompanied our tea with an hearty very yummy oatmeal cream filled cookie for dessert. (You swear your favorite Granny just hand made it for you). For others, it was evident, in-house made ice cream (by Kelly) was an obvious fav around this place as we saw many folks stepping up to the corner counter where it was being hand scooped. While this place is clearly a community favorite it's well worth the bother to go to Milkhouse from wherever. You can kick back, enjoy the obvious convivial social vibes that happen there among the staff and patrons alike. I regret our neighborhood is 200 miles away as I'd definitely make this a frequent drop in happening at meal times if I lived near Bumby. For you lucky downtown locals Milkhouse may very well end up being your "Cheers" hang out. read more

If going to this place- it appears to be nice, put together and clean. Beware of the facade. A few considerations: 1. If you eat in house things may seem appealing, but the food is D minus from a score standpoint. 2. If you elect to order take away, expect a cheap replacement for your sides instead of what you ordered- chips vs other sides and, if you ventured for a burger - expect the driest burger you've ever encountered in life. 3. Service is extremely slow. 4. Way too expensive for the low bar they fail to meet. 5. There are hundreds of better options walking distance. read more

Had an afternoon here with friends l, where Sarina was our server. She was clueless about the menu and was unapologetic about her frustration after each question. I dont drink and asked for my usual none alcoholic beverage yet somehow I paid $12, more then my friends with alcohol. She asked whats the problem after I asked her if there was a manager in which she mindlessly said No there isnt. Not offering solution, and lack of curiosity of how she could remedy the situation. Then proceeded to sit there trying to order drinks for 10 minutes while the bartenders decided to chat among themselves and laugh and go in and out of back kitchen area. 3 different time bartender walked right by us to not even look if we wanted to order. Milkhouse is such a fun spot and it's great for groups where everyone wants something different. They have Kellys Ice Cream, Ravenous Pig beers and their famous cocktails on tap, Italian Food and you can order from the chicken place next door and they'll bring it over. Last time we were there they had great live music and it was such a chill vibe. There's indoor and outdoor seating plus yard games like cornhole. I have come here a few times before for drinks and food but I wouldn't say I'm a regular. I love that they have a full bar plus a coffee shop and ice cream its the best of everything all in one. I came here for NYE after trying to find an affordable low key event. When I saw they were offering all you can drink wine and apps for 10 dollars I wasn't expecting much but was surprisingly shocked at the quality of the food and drink they offered. It was such a perfect night for us and just the kind of atmosphere I was looking for. Everyone was so friendly and in great spirits even on a holiday. I will definitely be a returning customer after that experience, it's truly the little things that businesses do to make their customers happy and I really appreciated the hospitality we experienced that night. After we were rudely turned away at Otto's High Dive yesterday we walked across the street and tried Milkhouse for the first time. We sat outside as it was more kid friendly and a more relaxed ambiance. We luckily were able to enjoy the happy hour and we were very impressed. The drinks, food and service were fabulous. Nice place right outside downtown to get work done. Plenty of parking in the morning and lots of (indoor/outdoor) seating, perfect for settling in with a laptop (or a book, if you're so lucky!). I did wait for about 10 minutes this morning for someone to take my coffee order, or to see an employee. It was understandable (it was not busy and there appeared to be only one staff member), and not a huge deal for me (I was settling in to work anyway), but is the reason for four stars. I'm looking forward to returning, maybe for lunch, and revising my review accordingly (hopefully!). read more

Overall a great experience, although the concept is a little confusing. They have a sit down full-service restaurant option, and then a bagel shop, ice cream shop, and coffee shop that you have to order from yourself. The bar is self service or full-service depending on if you are sitting or not. thought this was going to be a food hall, but it's a combination of both. The menu for the full-service restaurant had some excellent choices and everything we ordered was great, although it is a bit of a slim pick for vegetarians. I was most impressed with the fact that two managers stopped by our table to ask how everything was. Our server was also fantastic. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I only had two choices of items to get off the menu being a vegetarian and I would've preferred to order the food myself as they've advertised as a food hall. read more

First and possibly last time coming here. I came on a Sunday when the Italian menu was the menu on the option: CICCHETTI. Because we saw that this was displayed on social media is why we decided to come, however I don't think that this Italian restaurant is quite what we were looking for. At first we were expecting a chicken sandwich because that was what was displayed on the social media account that we saw. However we came in and we were so hungry that we decided to order burgers. The burgers didn't taste good because they put a fried piece of vegetable inside of it. And the mozzarella was good, but it was just decent nothing worth saying much about because I didn't satisfy anyone that was at the table. The most tasty part of the entire experience was the drinks, outside of that it was the ice cream which we ended up getting before leaving. But if the menu doesn't change I will not be returning and if anyone is reading this I think you should wait until the menu isn't from CICCHETTI. Try one of the other restaurants it may be better! read more
