Years later, the windows were letting in drafts. When my parents tried to file a claim, the manufacturer said the issue was with the installation, and when they went back to the contractor, the contractor blamed the window company. My parents were left to eat the cost. Didn't put two and two together until now. Fast forward to 2021, I had them install gutters on my house. In 2023, I called for a roof quote but never moved forward. In 2026, I tried to call them again, but they wouldn't return my call. Upon inspecting my gutters, I discovered major installation issues: the leaf fitters were shoved underneath my shingles, shingles from a previous roof layer were pushed back and the gutters were installed too high. This poor work has caused my fascia board to rot over time. So glad they haven't returned my call. Stay away and don't be naive like me. Needless to say, I've hired someone else for full roof replacement along with fascia board, soffit and gutters.

Master Roofing did not make me sit with them - Some companies required my wife to be there with me for the hours long intimidation sales pitch. Lastly, their employees are not subcontractors who worked very hard did a great job. I've been in general construction most of my life and nothing jumped out to me as being done incorrectly or half-assed. I also sent pictures and questions to my cousin in GA who literally builds entire houses. He said it looks great. The following week, a Midland Floor Care team came out and picked up my rugs, both young men were personable and professional. Very nice to deal with. My rugs are taking slightly longer than the usual time to process, but the important thing from a customers service prospective is that Justin is very prompt about replying to phone calls and texts, so I know exactly where things stand. Communication is often missing from customer service these days, but Justin is excellent. It has been a pleasure doing business with him.

From inside the attic I can see a little bit a water on the pipe so I knew that was the problem. I had called five other roofing companies including JR's. Within 30 minutes I had a callback from Ramon who said that they could replace them the same day. I had another company quote me 2 1/2 times as much. Which was a complete rip off, terrible... I was really happy with JR's pricing and the response. In 45 minutes they were on scene and up on the roof. They brought down the old flashing boots and sure enough they were dry rotted. It was really disappointing that other companies would want to rip somebody off that much. Capital Roofing and Exteriors (CRE) handled repairs to my porch and fascia after a tree strike in…read moreearly December. Jesse and his crew were responsive and eager to coordinate directly with my insurance provider, which helped move the process along--but not without some concerns. To start with the positives: Jesse is communicative and aggressive about pushing the claim through insurance. Once work began, the repairs were done relatively quickly. He clearly wants to keep things moving and keep the client informed. However, the full process--from damage to completion--dragged into early April. A lot of that delay falls on the insurance company, but not all. CRE can be a bit too eager to upsell or stretch the scope of work to fit what insurance might cover, and that added some complexity and delay. More importantly, the execution left a lot to be desired. The fascia and trim work ended up dented, scuffed, and uneven in places. Nails were bent over instead of properly seated. Cosmetic flaws that shouldn't be present after a professional repair. And the biggest issue: the roofing subcontractors were extremely sloppy. They left debris scattered across my yard and nails in my driveway--one of which ended up in my tire. That kind of carelessness really undercut any goodwill. In summary: Jesse is responsive and energetic, and CRE will push your claim hard. But expect to keep a close eye on the job, especially the subs, and don't expect perfection on finish work. Solid in some areas, disappointing in others.
