Automotive repair can be an extremely stressful thing. Not only this, but there are too many shops out there that do business dishonestly. Millen Auto Body has now repaired a total of 4 vehicles for me. My personal vehicle went in for a head-on collision - damage was limited to the front bumper, left headlight and fender. Repairs were spot on, and you could tell that time was taken to paint the car RIGHT - blending into the adjacent body panels to ensure that the freshly painted portions blended in to the rest of the car. Orange peel was almost not even visible. Not a single issue, and the paint has now been on the car for two years now. A second car: my girlfriend's car went in for some damage to the right passenger mirror, and back bumper. I insisted on OEM parts, and Brittney and Greg fought with her (terrible) insurance company to get OEM parts for the car, as opposed to replica pieces. NO DRAMA, and everything works as if brand new. No dealing with body shops and insurance companies to have my cars repaired with junk panels and parts made to lower standards (replicas) with poor fitment. Truly a gem, this body shop. Side note - Neal (owner) is hilarious and contains within his brain, a plethora of information both in life and the business; schools me every time :). Cheers guys! Hope to never get into collisions, but in the case that I do, I will forever be a client, and will continue to push you more and more business. I took my car for repair and they made a very extensive list of all the pre-existing damage. When they gave the car back to me, trim piece below the driver's seat was hanging loose. I complained to the shop and they popped it back in. A few weeks later, I took my car to the dealership for regular maintenance and asked them to checkout the trim piece. The dealership told me that the piece is secure, but it is broken. Since Millen is a recommended shop for my insurance company and provides repair guarantees, I contacted Millen about this issue. I first sent them an email and I got a response from Greg that the trim piece was pushed back as a courtesy and it is not their fault. I called them and tried to reason with them that it wasn't broken when I gave the car to them as it wasn't documented by them as something that was pre-existing. In fact, I had paid the dealership to install a new piece earlier as I broke it. It breaks when you are not careful and your pant gets stuck in it and you forcibly exit from the vehicle. Millen had fixed my tailgate and the dealership said there are many wires below the drivers seat and one of them connects with the tailgate to operate it. Millen probably broke the trim piece when they played with the wires or one of their technicians wasn't careful when he drove the vehicle and exited from it.   I have used them in the past and always had good experience, but the reason could be that they didn't break anything in the past. I also referred them to many of my friends. On top of refusing to fix it, Greg's rudeness and dishonesty bothered me. When I brought the car to their shop, he said we love you and you are a great customer. When I reported the issue, his tone changed and he started to make unsubstantial allegations. I asked him for proof, which he didn't have any.  The good part is that my insurance company recognized this and took care of it. For Millen, it is shortsightedness as the piece itself would have costed them a few hundred bucks at the best due to the discounts they get. Alternatively, they could have been nicer and we would have worked out a mutually accepted solution. Due to a few hundred bucks, not only did they lose a repeat customer, but also lost all the references that this customer would have given.  I can anticipate a defensive response blaming me as response to this post. But, look at some other reviews where this shop is being blamed for dishonesty. I hope that I had looked at these reviews also before going to this shop and selected another preferred shop. If Millen can't take accountability of their actions, I can't see how they would stand by their repairs. Be very careful and see what you are getting into before going to this shop as they will pressurize you to give 5-star review to the insurance company as soon as you go to pick up the car, but their tone changes as soon as they have their review. I had given them a good review as I never thought they would behave like this. Please don't give them a review till you have inspected the car. read more

I was so embarrassed after scraping and denting a part of my car while trying to back out of a narrow garage. These people kindly assured me, "Accidents happen," and they took great care with making my car look like new again. They performed the necessary repair work quickly and charged me exactly what they quoted me. Millen was recommended to me by an insurance company after a driver with their policy hit my open rear passenger door and hyperextended it. I had been to McLeod Auto Body for a previous repair and was happy with their work, so I wasn't sure about taking my car somewhere else, but I'm glad I did. The people at Millen were really helpful and obviously had a lot of experience with this common repair and the confidence was reassuring. Let me tell you about this body shop... this place is hands down the best body shop around! Greg and the rest of the crew there are fantastic people. They definitely know exactly what they are talking about. Dropped my car off on a Wednesday to get the passenger door replaced along w/paint, etc. and they tried their best to get it back to me two days later but stated that Ford held up on the door. Our experience with Millen, start to finish, was fantastic. They are courteous, FAST, and do great work. Do yourself a favor and work with these folks! First off, they got us an estimate the SAME DAY of the accident. All other shops wanted to schedule us out 2+ weeks, just to do the estimate! Millen worked up an estimate right there in front of us, perhaps 30 minutes at the most. Next, car was drivable, but they insisted on pulling the fender away from the tire so we wouldn't cause any more damage. They got out a pry-bar and did it right then-and-there. Next, they scheduled us a few weeks out to get parts and were ready for us the day we dropped off the car. They finished on time even with needing a couple extra parts they found once they opened up the damage. They hit all the dates! Lastly, the work was fabulous. We have a 2014 Buick Enclave with Pearl paint. They matched it perfectly: you cannot tell what was replaced. Overall, the best experience we have had with a repair shop, perhaps ever. My car had a severe water leakage problem recently, so I brought it to the Millen Auto Body shop. I had brought my car twice there previously due to two car accidents. I am still amazed of their service and kindness that they showed me on the water leakage repair. They had my car at their shop for about 10 days to find out thoroughly where the water leaked. Neil who is the owner of the shop called me to pick up my car and told me that I did not owe him any for the repair. He even paid for a rental car for the 10 days. They also cleaned my car inside and outside. Neil said that he did not charge me because they should have found out the problem when I brought my car previously. Neil took great care of me as a customer and the shop did an incredible job fixing the damage from a parking lot hit and run that damaged the front quarter panel/bumper and rendered the driver's door unusable. It's a pemco recommended auto-body so the claim service was integrated and I didn't have to do anything but pay the deductible and they took care of arranging the rental car as well. When I picked it up from Millen, the body and paint work, plus buff and detail had the car looking better than when I got it from the dealer with 30k miles on it. Took my 2009 black BMW to Millen as the front bumper (left side) has some scuff marks. Dave wiped the area clean and recommended , its cheaper to replace the bumper than fixing this minor issue. Honest professional opinion, Thumbs up ! read more

Our family has had 2 car accidents in the past 2 years and this past week my wife was hit, so gave 'em a call again. We have used other body shops....just an OK experience. However, these last 2 incidents, went to Millen due to good Yelp reviews and was treated fairly and honestly. Timely, informative, and easy to find out status of repair. A while back my tailgate was stuck on my truck so when I went to get it fix I chose Millen Autobody. A couple of years ago they had fixed my car after an accident. Before they let my ride leave a guy went out and took the cover off. He worked on it for 20 minutes, it just need to be greased and realigned. When I went in to pay I was told to write a good review. I went off reviews in taking my car wich was hit on whole drivers side front end to millen. I'm glad I did. They were professional and friendly. My car was in and out exactly when they said. They detailed my car inside and out even though The inside had nothing to do with the front end. They even waited passed closed to get me my car before Thanksgiving weekend. I called here after being told by my dealership that a headlight change would cost me upwards of $500. The girl who answered the phone was nice enough to do a price check and confirm that it would probably cost less than that but still pretty high. She then told me that I should try O'Reillys for parts as they might have the bulb and it would save me a lot of money. They did for $99 but it needed to be put in (bumper had to be removed). I brought it back to Millen for that. I was told they were having a busy day but Scott got to my car pretty immediately. He was amazing! He went out just to scope it and out but went ahead and replaced the bulb for in inside of 20 mins. All while I was just standing there. When I went in to pay, they didn't even take anything from me as it was a small job!! I mean, wow! I was beyond impressed with how honest and helpful they were. They could have asked that I order the part from them and made me come back with an appointment. They were super busy but took the time to not only get me the best price but amazing customer service. Millen just fixed my '07 Subaru Outback. Needed a new rear bumper and repair to the frame rails from being rear ended with a hitch-mounted bike rack on. Took a few weeks to get in, but the work only took 4 days. Very clear communication, the estimate was right on, and they even cleaned the car for me. I'd highly recommend them. read more

I didn't even make it into the door of Millen Auto Body... I was helping a friend get directions to this place because it was a wee bit hard to find and the GPS didn't quite navigate us to the right place. So, since she was driving, I called the place and Neil answered the phone call. I was repeating the directions Neil gave to me to my friend so that she can follow them (my Droid Eris' speakerphone doesn't work well). Neil got so frustrated and said, "Do NOT talk over me! Let ME give YOU directions!!" A little cruel and rude when I'm trying to bring business to HIM. My first response was, "WHOA WHOA!! I'm not trying to talk over you, just repeating the directions so that my friend can find you" Of course, he wanted nothing to do with listening to me, and rebuttled with, "NO, you ARE talking over me" Needless to say, we decided not to pick this place because of a rude OWNER (as he claims). I can't imagine an owner of a company being this rude to a potential customer, especially since we passed by four other auto repair shops on the way to his general vicinity (we think). My friend called him back after we got back to work and told him that he was rude and that I was just trying to help her with directions. He said that I was being rude (interesting!) and that I said this and that... which didn't quite match up to what my friend heard me say (she was next to me during the conversation)...... also, btw, my friend had called him prior to me calling Millen Auto to get directions (before we got lost again), and he was quite rude to her as well. I don't think he put two and two together that he was rude to her, and yet again, to me. So, needless to say, he probably had a lonely afternoon that day and one less customer to try to please. There are several other auto body shops out there with kinder representatives. I suggest going to those instead of this one. What's FUNNY about this is that I need repairs on my own car as well... I now know where NOT to look. read more

These guys wanted to collect detailed information about ME and my car before even giving me a quote for some minor paint damage and it was going to take 15 minutes. Most places came out to my car to give me an estimate within 5 minutes. Their office smelled heavily of smoke and I did not feel comfortable sitting in there with my child. Also I don't want to have to give body shops so muchinformation to get a quote. For a minor paint issue it should take 2 minutes. read more

My insurance company directed me to Millen Autobody as a great place to get my car repaired after an accident a few years ago. I was very satisfied with their work back then, so when I needed body repairs again, they were the first and only place I considered. I have a difficult color to match on my car, but each time they were able to blend it perfectly. When I picked the car up exactly when they said it would be ready, I found that they not only hand-washed the exterior of my car, they also thoroughly vacuumed and wiped down the interior! Always outstanding service. I don't even question where I go for any body work at all. They are professional- they are timely. They do flawless work on my car thus far. Even match my not so common paint color perfectly. Been in a few fender benders (not at my fault) and they do an excellent job resorting. Their prices are fair- not the cheapest but you get the best quality and honestly that what matters most to me. Something that will last- and they even detailed my car this time around! I've known Neil and Noreen Millen for 30 years and I would never take my vehicles to anyone else for body damage repair. It's too bad BL (see above) had a poor communication with Neil. He, and his friend, have missed out. Neil is human, and he and his Son, Scott, work their tails off to satisfy everyone that comes through their door. The bonus is getting to know these guys. They are truly characters, throwbacks if you will, of a time when trust was more important than politically correct niceties. I trust them with my vehicles, all six of them, plus my motorcycles, even my boat trailer. They take pride in delivering a vehicle back to you that is actually better, cleaner and better to drive thatn before your accident. Sorry BL, but everyone has a bad day once in awhile. If you want to pay the extra money for a soothing receptionist's voice, a fancy saltwater fishtank in the lobby and a latte machine, be my guest. These guys don't work that way. A terrific, locally owned business. I have had the opportunity to use them several times and they always have been very helpful and professional. The staff is friendly and the work is always done very well. They are good at working with insurance companies and helping you through the process. Their pricing is competitive. I would highly recommend them. The only concern I have is that the last time I had brought a car in for repairs, for an elderly friend, the battery (which was fairly new) was completely depleted during the repair process and would no longer hold a charge. According to an employee, the technician had left the door switch on. I was told it had had to be charged before pick up. Unfortunately, a new battery had to be purchased by my friend. read more
