Objectively a nightmare of a buying experience (we paid cash for 2016 Odyssey). -However, I thought the staff was professional and they seem like good people, but don't let the friendliness fool you. -I would echo what others say, once they have your money (down payment) the customer service stops and the circus begins. -What others have experienced and placed in their comments about being "held hostage" is a fair and accurate statement. At first I had trouble reaching anyone at service dept via main line (despite several tries on different days and connecting with operator) (hence 4 stars instead of 5) but I was able to easily make appointment online and was assigned to service advisor Tom K. Once I called again and asked for advisor by name, I was immediately connected and he was patient and resolved all of my questions. In person he was just as helpful, carefully going through the paperwork and getting my car's recall and oil change/tire rotation done promptly same day. He even helped me get a more reasonable price. Another reviewer mentions the 3% credit add- that's basically par for the course at many businesses these days to afford credit card company fees to the business. There were signs all over making it clear, and I was also advised at cashier and told I could avoid fee by paying debit. Overall a positive experience and I will return for service and specifically ask for Tom. 5 stars for Tom. 4 stars only for the initial attempts to reach general service line without success. read more

Yesterday night, in the evening, a friend of mine was trying to check out SUVs to replace his Camaro, as he's starting a family after his Military discharge along the strip of Franklin Ave. After the Dodge dealership, he decided to head into Millennium Honda to check out the CRV-EX-L, we were helped by a sales rep named Edgar. He showed us the car and thoroughly knew all the details of the car in terms of options, safety features and the new technology. We decided to get a price of the vehicle. After a while, Edgar shows up with finance options and a price before taxes and fees at 39K to almost 40K. We were perplexed at the prices as their website showcases different prices for the models they have at around 36K to 37K. We asked where those numbers were coming from, wondering if they were from included packages, features, options, etc. He calls his sales manager over to go over it with us asking what we would like to do and how to get the price down. We went over military discounts and some other types. But I decided to ask where the price 39k came from, and the Manager stated that it was MSRP. I answered that the website's MSRP is 36kish. He then responded that too was MSRP and that they could charge whatever they want, and that legally they had to write down 36kish on the website by law. He started berating us and ask us if we knew what MSRP meant and then started yelling and questioning who gave us the price of 39k, because the actual price is actually 42k. I stated, why would you guys be changing prices like this as I wanted an answer on where they are coming up with the numbers. The manager stated that we need to check Truecar, that we don't know what we're talking about and then stated that they don't even have any version of the car right now. He said "good luck finding cars, if you don't like it go shop somewhere else online then". After a few back and forth, I decided to tell my friend that we should go. Mind you, that this argument was loud, other customers were looking at us and trying to discern what was happening. In the background, other employees were laughing with each other. As we leave the parking lot, my friend checks the value on True car, and it still reflects what they have on the website, so we still have no idea what the actual price of the car was with all the shenanigans being thrown around. In all, we left really pissed and aggravated, because we were just shopping around, we just wanted to know the price of the car. But they have really lost a customer with that attitude. I do feel bad for our sales rep Edgar as he was just standing there in awe of what was going on. My car's A/C died only blowing warm air and I wanted to bring it in to fix it under the new extended warranty they gave me because most of the 2020 CRV were having issues of leaking compressors . I made any appointment for 9:45 and brought it in on time. They informed me that diagnostics could take 3-4 hours. After 4 hours I asked about my car and no one had an answer. They had no idea if it was looked at or fixed. Another hour went by and still no answer. I went to the "big boss" to ask what the hell is going on (I banged on his glass box of an office). He said he will look into it. By 5 hours and 15 minutes the big boss said that they will now look at my car. WTF really they haven't even looked at my car. Now they wanted me to leave it overnight but I only have one car in my family. I left and now I still have no AC in my car and the temps are around 85. There was another man there that said that he is bringing in his car for tire sensors going off without a change in tire pressure for the 11th time. Finally now that it has been the 11th time Honda is willing to change the sensors. Another woman was there for an oil change which took 3 hours. It is a shit show. Worst worst worst dealership I've ever been to. Once they have your money they keep you hostage for more than 3 hours. Kept promising 10 minutes. Then 15 minutes etc. We put deposit on car at 3pm and came back at 600pm expecting most of paperwork and car prep was done. We paid in full for the 2019. You'd think they'd cater to you because we could've taken our business to north shore Honda, etc. it is now 924p, we are the only customers in store and I look around and guys in their computers... (Pbbly playing solitaire). Still waiting!!! My pregnant wife with triplets and 5 other kids and mother in law had to take a shuttle to the restaurant as they were all starving. Bad bad bad.... Millennium Honda, a place that tries very hard to give phenomenal service. All the people are super friendly. Smiling. Cheerful. It's amazing. But waiting 90min on average for an oil change is ridiculous, and that's their "Express Service" for cars under 15k miles. I've been here twice and it took just AS LONG. Inside the waiting area is nicer than some hotels. Free coffee machine and tea, leather couches for lounging, magazines, cubicles, and even a monthly giveaway where you can win a TV!! Wow, it's like they thought of everything but reducing customer wait time!! Amenities only pop for a short while, after 10min you become numb to the glamour and are wallowing in a misery of interminable waiting. read more

I brought my car in for an inspection but also had a check engine light on. I knew they would have to diagnose and fix the cause of the light. This was a Friday morning at 7 am. After waiting a few hours I asked and it turns out that there was no way I was going to get it assessed, repaired and inspected while I waited. They gave me a ride home, which was nice. I waited home all day and finally around 4 pm I called and they told me they'll need to keep the car overnight. Saturday came and went. Monday cane and went. I tried calling and the guy had gone home, despite promising that he would call me. By Wednesday I figured out why it's called Millennium Honda, and it's because they'll be holding onto your car for a millennium. Finally Thursday they tell me they replaced a sensor switch that was causing the problem, but that they can't do the inspection because the check engine light will remain on for about 50 miles. So, I got no inspection. It cost me $450 and when I go out to the car, the check engine light is OFF. So they could have done the inspection after all. But didn't. Now I have to ho to another mechanic to get that done. I looked up the sensor on Amazon and it was $25. An O ring was $5. I looked on YouTube to see how to do it and it literally took ten minutes to do it. I recommend you use a different dealer for any repairs. read more

The finance person, Haresh, hard-sold them a $2500 warranty they didn't want. When my parents went back to return the car they received 1/3 less than what they paid (a full $3000 less than its trade-in value!). My parents got an equivalently-valued Honda CRV. Millennium Honda skims $1000 here, another over there, and my parents have now overpaid by $13,000 for the whole experience. Did I mention they had to go back 3 times before they could get a CRV, didn't get the CRV of their choosing (despite being available), AND were made to sit for 5 hours in an office for paperwork *after* already having chosen the vehicle and settled on a price? When I got there to finalize the deal of an out-the-door price, he added extra fees, and tried to explain that management never told him about the extra fees. I asked for a estimate monthly payment for financing and they told me they can't estimate anything at all without running my credit. Brought my civic in for a warranty issue. They initially said it wasn't covered. Talked to a manager and all of a sudden it was. Two days to fix and the repair the receipt quoted 2 hours of work. Got the car back and they forgot to put all the clips in for the molding. Showed them that and they put in the wrong type of clip. These guys are jokers. This place really needs a little bit more management overhead. Had an appointment to pick up a new car on Tuesday night and then was told the finance guy changed the date to Wednesday which wouldn't have been possible given my busy work schedule. Then we were told we had to put money down, which we were unaware of, meaning if we didn't have the money in our account we would have had to reschedule again because we would have needed to go home and grab cash. Then it took about 3 hours to finally get out the door with the slow service. If a client agrees to buy a car for over ten thousand dollars, maybe make sure all your eggs are in a row before they come in the door. A little bit childish and unorganized if you ask me. Salespeople are nice. Spent 2 and a half hours this morning. We called ahead and had an appointment. Told them exactly what we wanted and what we were willing to pay for a new lease several times over the phone. They called to confirm the appointment at least 4 times. Nothing was prepared before we arrived. After we haggled and threatened to walk out, they met our price limit. Nothing special-no great deal. Said we'd be back at 6 to pick up the car. They said no problem, they'd have everything ready. Got here at 5:55. No paperwork was ready. It's now 6:55 and we are still waiting to sign the paperwork, pay, and get our car. I dropped my car off to be serviced and to have a recall fixed. I was told it would take 6 hours. No one called me for days. I called them and the repeatedly hung up on me. They told me that my representative was off for the day so they didn't know they were supposed to contact me. I "stopped" in to check on my car and the representative that supposedly had off had been avoiding my calls and was sitting at the desk! I had left messages for a manager and no one returned my call. After three days I was able to get my car, no one had called me... it just happened to be ready when I stopped in the third time. Ridiculous. I purchase a car back in February of 2019 a 2019 Honda Accord sport which I love and millennium was suppose send a check to Hyundai for the trade in i got rid of for 12/13 remaining payments. In October of this year I received a hit on mines and my wife's credit saying that I owe 8,000 dollars because the hyundia never received the pay off check to pay off the car. So now they are saying I have to pay this. The way my deal was done millennium was suppose pay the remaining payments on the car and they never did. The dealership still to this day after speaking with them multiple times still have not paid it off and it is affecting my credit badly. I went from a 727 score down to 545 and this is affecting my credit badly! This dealership is super irresponsible and upper management needs to learn customer service and not just be on your side when they are trying to close a deal but need to be on your side when something goes wrong after. I have reached out to Honda cooperate and BBB for assistance with this matter since the dealership 10 months a late still have not paid off the car I traded in. My first time experience in Millennium Honda was great! From the minute I walked in, Sales Associate Jorge Garcia made us feel very welcoming. Jorge made it so easy that within 30 min he closed the deal on the lease of 2020 Honda Odyssey & took our old lease return. He was so right on the point. He gave us the whole breakdown so easily that there weren't any confusion. There was no hidden fee or any surprises fee on the paper work! He is very knowledgeable & straight on the point.
