This review is for the service center. Brought our car here twice for basic service (oil changes, inspections, tire rotations) Left both times feeling that I got mediocre service for the $$$. You definitely become a number to them as soon as you pull in your vehicle. Don't forget any sort of greetings. Exit the vehicle and hand over your keys to the attendants and you're given a number. The advisors will then shuffle you to the desks without much talk. You tell them what you're there for and sign over the paperwork. Expect long wait times in the waiting room (2-3 hours for oil change and inspection is typical) and some chaos between the advisors, attendants, cashiers and mechanics out back. After 2 hours in, I actually observed my vehicle get parked in the completion area. After waiting roughly 20 minutes, I had to gently remind my advisor that my car was ready. He then checked me out without any sort of apology for the wait. Stay on top of them. Scrutinize what's on their paper before agreeing to services and charges. Making an appointment online beforehand makes absolutely no difference. You get prioritized based on when you bring in the car. Your best bet is to line up before the shop opens to not get backed up. My suggestion for this shop is to hire more advisors, work on customer service skills, and try to go above and beyond basic service. Some positives are the clean bathrooms and facilities, free coffee, ample TV screens, outlets, free external car wash and comfy chair. I only brought my vehicle here for the free one year oil change after buying a new car at the dealership. I won't be bringing my vehicle here anymore after the year is up. read more

I've own Toyotas since I started driving and always recommended them because of their customer service, but I've got to say I will never buy another again! I went in for a routine oil change but noticed that I was having difficulty steering a couple of days before bringing it in. I was told that to fix it it'd be around $750.00 and that it wasn't under warranty because i had just missed the 3 year mark, but my mileage was only 24,000. I know the warranty states 3 yrs/ 36,000 whichever comes first but who was driving last year!!!! If anything they should just honor an extra year on the warranty or 36,000 miles. I have escalated this to corporate but to no avail! I can't believe they rather lose a customer, who BTW, will go on social media to spread this word. read more

Very disappointed !! My mom and I bought our Civic in November and due to be checking in on yelp I was offered a $100 gift card with purchase of car. I showed it to our sales man Zeshaun and he approved it with managers. They said they will mail it out with the week cause none was in store which was understandable at the time. Weeks later we never received the gift card I had trouble with my car and STILL am hearing noises coming from bend whenever I turn air on. I brought my car in less than a month of buying it and complained about the noise and also not receiving the gas gift card and they said there was nothing wrong with the car and they will send the gift card in the mail immediately! Let's fast forward and just say now we're in March 2018 and I still have NOT received the gas gift card and my car still makes weird embracing noises when Turning on air. I really wish I could return the car and go some where else I'm over them for not holding there word and giving me only good customer service just so we can buy the car then after they really don't care What's the point in offering services you don't keep your word about. Very disappointed!!!! I brought my car there twice. The first day it was there at 8:30 in the morning, i waited around all day to hear from them, i then proceeded to call them to find out the status of my car. I was told that my car hasn't even been look at yet Because they only have one technician ON A FRIDAY and that they have not been able to look at my car so i went to pick up my car and they told me to bring it back the following morning. Once again, no one keeps me up to date on what is going on, it wasn't until i call the third time magically they solved the issue. So i went to pick up my car, brought it home, and boom the issue is still there after i was rold they had figured it out. Waiting on their service team to get back to me. Went in for service- oil change and they lost my keys. Made me wait forever to cut new keys so I got to work late. Then noticed they scratched my car!!! ugh. That's what I am waiting on the response to now. I emailed, used the text feature and called many times Monday, Tuesday and today. This is the third time I have been in for service. The first time they all went home and left me sitting there at the dealership. Three hours later I got out of there. The second time I went in for service I got a flat on the way home, brought it back and they lost my keys, then they made me pay for the tire. After much debate they gave me $200 credit toward next service. So here I sit again. No one wants to write terrible reviews. Only spoke to Aldo and emailed Marcelo- who never answered me. I came to millennium Honda to get a simple oil change. I had to wait for about 20 mins to get onto the ramp. I had an appointment and I was early. I told the representative that I wanted a rental and I requested that when I made my appointment. I informed the representative that I had to go back to work. Representative said my car would be done in two hours. I said are you sure because I saw there was a lot of people. I followed up with representative a hour and a half later, car was not being worked on. I sat there for two hours for no reason. Once I asked them I needed my car, it took another 30 mins for them to retrieve. They had no respect for anyone's time. I have been getting my car serviced her for years. Just had a horible experience here! I came here with my 1 yr old daughter to get my tire fixed. After waiting for 2 hours my daughter starts to get upset because she's hungry, I asked a few people if someone can get my daughter's milk from the back seat of my Honda Pilot, after waiting a while I was told that they are still looking for my car and I asked them how do you loose a car? Apparently they put a different number tag on it! Another half hour goes by and I asked if my car was close to being ready and I was told that they are now going to start to work on it. I asked them to get my truck please! A very unprofessional manager comes over and tells me it's on the lift and I explained to him what had happened and ask him how do you loose a car and he rudely and Nonchalantly replied well we didn't physically loose your car, we just lost your key! When I was ready to lease at short notice he stayed late to meet with me and I felt he gave me a great deal and moved things along as quickly as possible. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. YOU MUST READ THIS! BEWARE OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! I took my car to the Millennium Honda dealership in Garden City for a recall this week. Because my inspection would be up this month, I figured that I would have that done, too. Once the car was finished, they told me that I needed a timing chain, a timing belt, and 2 motor mounts. Thank God I have a mechanic in my family, because when I called him to service my car with those problems, he told me that I had just done the timing belt this year. There was a slim-to-none chance that I needed it fixed again. In addition, the "timing chain" that was supposedly broken, doesn't exist in my Honda. What?! So in other words, they would have "fixed" my broken car with parts that weren't even broken; repair a part that didn't exist; and charge me over $2,500! If they can easily do this to me, who else are they extorting for money with fictitious repairs? GET A SECOND OPINION, TRUST ME! read more

Everything was going well until I was made to wait after having been with the salesman two and a half hours. I thought we were waiting for the insurance card to be faxed which I was told would take between 5 and 10 minutes. After 45 minutes of no contact I walked to my car and was going to leave. My salesman saw me leaving and said he had received the insurance card but now they were waiting for the title from DMV. This was not conveyed to me at all by anyone. I was very angry not being aware of the process and not being told each step. After a certain point I was just made to wait. As I said I was happy with the deal up until this point. Let me start by saying that I have been going to Millenium Honda for years, and have observed a marked decline in their quality of service. I had a 9:30 appointment for service this past Monday. Naturally, when a person makes an appointment, they expect that time to be set aside for them. They expect to be seen close to the appointment time. However, this was not the case. When I arrived at Honda at the time of my appointment, I was instructed to wait in a long line of cars down the block. I proceeded to wait in my car for over 90 minutes. At one point, I exited my car to make sure I didn't miss some instruction, such as, "pull in here if you have a scheduled appointment." After searching for an attendant, I was told, "appointment or no appointment, same line." Finally, when my car crossed the threshold into the garage, I was seen by a helpful young woman named Esther. She was polite, and answered my questions. I also dealt with Nick in the service department. He was also polite. They are the reason this review gets 1 Star. Otherwise, Millenium Honda deserves zero. When I asked why the wait was so long, I was told that this location accepts walk-ins for service. Rather than prioritize customers with scheduled appointments, it's simply first come, first serve. My advice? Drive your Honda to a location that honors appointments. Why they can't work out a system where 1 lane is for appointments and the other is for walk-ins remains a mystery to this customer. The final nail in the coffin came today when I picked up my car. When I arrived, my transaction was handled speedily in the billing department. However, I waited nearly a half hour to get my car. I could see my car. If not for 1 car parked in the way, I would have driven off the lot myself. I asked multiple attendants to help; I witnessed them service other clients who arrived after me. Had I not already spent so much time waiting at Honda, this wouldn't have been such a big deal. But it's clear this location is completely unorganized, overwhelmed, and is seriously lacking in the customer service department. I'll be taking my vehicle and my money elsewhere after 14 years of service at this location. read more

I went in for an emissions notification light, it took 5 hours. They never gave me an update. They said they did a software update and that should fix the problem. It took an hour from the time my car was "finished" to the time I actually got my car. Well next day, same problem, emissions notification. I take it in at 7 am hoping for a shorter wait, after three hours I ask what's going on, the guy tells me they are trouble shooting and offers me a ride home. Fine. I get a call at 1:30 about the price of the part. I call again around 5 asking about my car since it is the end of the day, apparently it's been ready for hours, no one called. And now the shuttle service is closed, so I'm without a car for another day. This is just the worse. Reading the reviews it seems they are always over scheduled, never contact you and possibly crooked on fixing things. read more

Special attention to the guy Paul Mosca. I brought my car for the recall, oil change and to replace the light bulbs for the backseat and gear area. Then he told me he's going to do the maintenance for 90k miles. It was like I had no option but to this. He told me that it's just very cheap. When I asked him how much is the cost, it was $486 plus the tax but the price of the bulbs will be included in $486. To begin with I was not ready for this expenses. But he sounded like I really have to do this. For my safety, I decided to do the 90k maintenance. When I came back to pick up my car. The lady told me that my bill was $535. I asked her if the 10% discount was already deducted from the final bill. She said she will talk to Paul to deduct the 10%. I waited for 10-15 mins the bill came. It became $547. I was like I'm not that stupid not to know simple math. (Of course I didn't say that to the lady in the cashier) I still managed to pretend that it was ok. Seriously, $535 less 10% is $547???? I know Paul was trying his best to do his work. I'm actually thankful that he gave me 10% discount but still it was a rip off for me to insist to do the 90k maintenance. I just wanted oil change and replace my bulbs inside the car. read more

My family is on our third vehicle here at Millennium Honda. The anxiety one gets from getting a car and all the hassle can be frustrating we have all been through it at dealerships. I can honestly say we did not feel any stress here. We went from Jeep and Nissan to Now having Hondas and plan to stay with them. This dealership can not be more helpful, honest and FAST! We get the best price, middle models (per our price range) and feel like we are treated with fairness and respectfully. Our sales guy Jose is the best and will continue to refer anyone I know to him! First, lets start with the positive. Big place, big selection, friendly sales people and managers, free car washes, and the service center is nearby. The Bad: I went here last week looking to competitive shop compared to other Honda dealers in the area. This place couldn't even come close to what Honda City offered me. Honda city offered me a lower monthly payment, more for my trade in, less down, and a few other small things. The sales department promised 3 free oil changes and a free inspection when we bought our car from them. The service department says they have no record of this and refuses to give the services for free. The car was up for state inspection a month after we bought it and the sales dept said they would cover the inspection cost. NOPE! We had to pay it because the service department isn't aware that the sales department was supposed to cover it and they charge for every inspection no matter what. At least that's what they told us. The sales department had to call on our behalf to fight them to get the included services. It's a huge headache. They are ridiculous and even getting basic service and recalls performed (with an appointment made over the phone) is insane. We made an 11a appointment with them over the phone for a service call and oil change. My wife had to wait more than 45 minutes to be told it would be awhile longer before she even got in the door. When my wife called from the line to ask the receptionist simply hung up on her. We couldn't wait any longer and have to find another place to go. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I returned my leased 2016 CRV ahead of time this May ahead of schedule and traded in for a 2019 Odyssey... After I got it home I noticed the door seal wasn't even attached and needed to be repaired right away... They told me to come back over the phone a week later that day to come in. I waited four hrs only to be be told the part wasn't even in???? Also my salesman didn't file my insurance transfer properly so I had to resolve that with Geico so my insurance wouldn't drop me after a few weeks. I now have found out that Millenium still acted like I owed them a disposition fee(which was waved in my lease return agreement since I got another lease from them) and my credit has plunged for yet another one of their disgusting errors... This dealership can ruin your credit. I now am sending their lease contract to a debt collection to prove how negligent and truly awful this dealership is. The manager I worked with to tried to pretend to resolve this and after two weeks of waiting.... SURPRISE!!! He worked out nothing with the debt collection agency. He will now not respond to my texts either. Do your self a favor and NEVER step inside this horrible place. You can't make this shit up!!! read more

I came in to service my vehicle on a recall, I call the same day I received my notice and I spoke to Mark Skawinski, he has become my go to guy in the service dept. He told me to bring it right in and explained how long it would take. So I was provided a loaner and I was on my way. Next day he called me to pick up my vehicle. It doesn't get any better than that, reliability, efficiency and professionalism. Its good to see to that the culture in this dealership is about providing great customer service!!. So not only did the dealership make sure I bleed on my monthly lease they also promised to give me a good deal instead gave me a car with a high monthly PAYMENT and my deposit was high as well I honestly don't see where my deposit went into it didn't lower monthly payments. They only give you empty promises. On top of that their Honda Service maintenance center, it's complete crap. I waited for four hours for a simple oil change. You're better off going to Midas or Mavis for any maintenance whatsoever. I'm not the only one complaining trust me, BE WARNED!! also don't waste your time booking an appointment for a scheduled maintenance as that won't matter once you get here. Millennium Honda also doesn't provide any incentives for loyal customers. I've been a customer for 3 years, my brother has been with Honda for longer and neither of Us get any incentives for my new lease or anything so why bother going to Honda over and over again. This review is for the service department... HORRIBLE!! After weeks of going back and forth with the assistant manager Gregg about getting a loaner car, while my car goes in for a warranty on the paint, the customer service I have received from this place is disgusting. I was going away on vacation Aug. 31, so Gregg the assistant manager told me to drop the car off on Aug. 30th and that he will be there. I go to drop it off and he is not even there. So the service advisor Nancy helped me out and got me all set, however the way she came off to my mother when she asked a question in regards to the car was rude! I told the lady if the car isn't ready by Labor Day (when I came back) I would be getting a loaner car as Gregg promised. Came back Labor Day and wasn't inform that Honda was closed. So I go the next day to get the loaner car and asked questions about when, the car will be done. Gregg says, oh it should be done by the end of this week. So I waited and waited. On Saturday morning, I decided to call and when I started asking questions about my car and when exactly it will be done, "Oh we don't know." So then I told the rep. well can you please find out and he places me on hold for an hour and never got back to me... Truly ridiculous. So I went there this Monday to find out some answers about my car since they can't communicate via phone. Another service rep. takes care of my situation and says I will get a call at the end of the day in regards to an exact day. Do you think I got a call? Nope! So yesterday, Wednesday I call and was very upset and not please with the service I got. I went off on the rep. about why they can't call the auto body to find out and let me know and such. The rep. was like I will receive a call from there today, this morning in regards to an actual date. You think they gave me a call?? Nope! I had enough so I decided to call Honda and get the phone number for the Auto Body shop to find out on my own what's going on. The lady at the Auto Body shop, very nice and helped me out and let me know the car is done and just needs to be washed and polish and will be back in my hands by tomorrow or the latest Saturday. It must of been very hard for these people at this dealership to give me answers to my questions. Instead of sitting on your asses all day gossiping, get some work done and listen to the customers needs instead of giving empty promises. I WILL NEVER BRING MY CAR HERE TO DO ANY TYPE OR SERVICE EVER AGAIN!!! The only time I will be back to this Honda will be for the parts department because they actually know their stuff and take care of their customers needs. NEW UPDATE: So I got my car back yesterday to then see this afternoon that the paint was peeling on the left side bumper. The car was in the shop for 3 weeks and you're telling me they couldn't paint the car correctly ? RIDICULOUS! So of course I went into Honda screaming and yelling because this is complete bullshit. Not only did I have to wait 15 mins for someone to help me (that's why I started screaming and yelling) , but the service advisor, Nancy is a extremely rude bitch! And then everyone wants to look at me crazy and not bother to come and help me. Thankfully, Paul did help me out and did his best to rush quickly to get me a loaner car after everything I had to deal with this place. Only thing I didn't like was them trying to bribe me with a detail clean of my car because I posted a horrible review about this place. Unfortunately, I came here to get one thing done and that was for the paint to be done correctly , not to get bribe so I won't write a bad review. If everything was running smoothly in the beginning I won't have to be here writing a lengthy and horrible review. Also the service advisor, Nancy didn't even bother to give me any updates nor call me when my car was done. I had to call there.. So much for customer service at this place. Talk about bad service and I didn't even bring my car in...I called to schedule an appointment, get a quote and find out availability. They couldn't even do this right! I was on hold for 10 minutes (all the while the hold music was telling my how my call is important and they have not forgotten about me) to get disconnected. I call back, and the same girl answered, I say i just got cut off, I was waiting for an answer to my question, that you put me on hold for... No response, no apology, she actually sounded annoyed that i called back... If they can't even get customer service right on the phone, then i am pretty certain they can't get anything else right! I called North Shore Honda, which is a lot further away from me, but at least there, my business is valued. I am due to buy a new car this year, and I will not be giving this place any of my business. Wake up Millennium, with so many dealerships within a 10 mile radius, can you really afford to be this bad with customers? I thought it was an important message but it wasn't. I had to call to see if it was ready, but it wasn't. No paperwork done to be able to pick it up. I have been coming to Millenium Honda for over 10 years. Besides the very long wait times for everything to be processed, I have always been satisfied with the customer service and deals. This time I worked with Zeeshan Majid, who went above and beyond with his hospitality. Initially I came into the dealership only wanting a 2020 Honda Accord and Zeeshan was able to bring one in from Queens to have it ready for me for my appointment. I test drove it and was curious to also look into the crossover CR-V. Eventually I decided on the CR-V, but throughout the whole ordeal Zeeshan was more than accommodating. He was very patient and worked with me as best he could. I highly recommend anyone who is looking to get a car at Honda to ask for Zeeshan as he will listen to your wants, be very patient and help you make the best decision. read more

Great service department, dishonest, high-pressure sales team Our first experience with Millennium Honda came from a referral from a close friend of ours. She had been taking her car there for service for a number of years and was very satisfied. When our 2015 Fit LX got its first 2 recall notices, we needed a place to go, and after several awful experiences with Paragon Honda, we figured we'd take a chance on something new. We weren't disappointed. Our service manager Sue was great. She was very friendly and kept us in the loop on what was going on with our car and when we could get it back. She even offered us a loaner car without us having to ask when it was determined that they would have to order additional parts for one of the recalls. Our third recall was also handled promptly and professionally, but at this point, we were starting to become a little wary at the reliability of the car and the prospects for future issues. We were also pretty unhappy with the loudness of the engine and the road noise that came into the cabin at highway speeds, so we decided that we wanted to look at other cars. The best place to start seemed to be with the email that we received from Millennium asking us to fill out a quick survey to see what our car might be worth for a trade-in. We got back an estimate of $13,000 - $14,000, which seemed a bit high for a car that we only paid about $15,600 for a year ago, but we figured it couldn't hurt to at least hear what they had to say. We were contacted by a sales rep named Angelina who told us that based on the condition and mileage on our car, we should be able to get a high trade-in value for it. We made an appointment to come in and speak with her. Over the course of the next week, the appointment was confirmed by both Angelina and Mike the sales manager. When we walked in on the day of our appointment, we were met at the door by a salesman named Jamal who told us that Angelina was out that day and that he would be able to help us. He was a very friendly, helpful guy, and things seemed to be going well, until we sat down and started to crunch numbers. Jamal gave us a trade-in value for our car that was well below what we were offered in the email. When we mentioned that offer to him, he denied that anyone from Millennium would ever offer that high of a trade-in for our car. I pulled up the email and showed it to him, and he said he didn't know why we received it. We eventually settled on a trade-in value that was less than what was listed, but that we still thought was fair. We were willing to accept that the inflated value was a marketing ploy to get us to come in, and it worked! The tide started to turn in the wrong direction when Jamal quoted us a price for the HRV-EX of $25,500. I asked him why the price was so high, because the sticker said $24,115 including destination, and asked if that price included taxes and fees. He said that it didn't, then went to look at the sticker. Jamal came back with his manager whose name escapes me at the moment. The manager explained to us that because the car was so popular and their inventories of it were low, they had to charge a premium to make money, which I found to be ridiculous. I know that there are times when people pay over the sticker price, but I didn't understand why Jamal couldn't just explain that to us without running to get his manager, who was a big burly guy that I suspected was brought in to try to intimidate us. Jamal then went on to tell us that if we traded in our Fit, and put down another $10,000, we could finance the rest at a rate of $148 a month for 48 months. That actually made no sense. If you take $25,500 and subtract the $11,000 they offered us for our trade-in, then another $10,000, that leaves $4,500. First off, most dealers tell you not to finance that small of an amount if you don't have to. Second, if you divide $4,500 by 48 months, the payment is actually $93.75 not including interest. Jamal jokingly had mentioned earlier that he wasn't so great with math, and now I could see why. After going back and forth with Jamal and the manager, we were still $4,500 apart on what they were offering and what we wanted to spend. Aggravated about being brought in under false pretenses and being given a sob story about why they needed to charge us extra for the car, we thanked them for their time and walked out. As we were backing up to leave, Jamal appeared at our window and tried to make us another deal that was only slightly better than what we turned down. We said that we had no interest in negotiating under this type of pressure and that we would think about it and get back to him, which we had no intention of doing. It was almost comical. We wound up buying our car from Honda of Manhattan, and got the EX-L for a couple of hundred less than Millennium wanted to charge us for the EX. I may continue to take my car to millennium for service, but I'll never walk into that showroom again. read more
