Guacamole tasted canned, not fresh, condiments doled out in teensy cups, must ask server constantly for more. Bbq tacos just ok, nothing to reorder. And skip alcohol as the restaurant has the TN "Sin Tax", so you will be extra taxed on your bill. Sneaky. Very few restaurants here do that. They incorporate the tax into the price. The food is glorified bar food, which makes sense with all the TVs. Think nachos, all things fried, burgers and the occasional pasta dish. Unprofessional behavior due to FAVORITISM in Service!! I went there with a group of guys 2 weeks ago to watch the euro cup finals. Game kick off at 3pm. I arrived at 230pm. Table for 6. Hostess checked me in and showed me my table in the back in front of the tv and told me when more than half of my part arrives we can be Seated. One of my friend arrived too but we were not seated. 3:05 already and we admitting in the waiting area. Others got stuck due to heavy rain and accident so running few minutes behind. Once 2 more arrived was 3:10pm then told me my table has been taken and now they do not have tables and I have to wait all over again. I lost it! I walked with the hostess back to the same table. It is still vacant! Finally agree. To let us have the table. 20 minutes later, a gentleman given a table next to us by himself. Hugging and kissing the waiter and 10 minutes later 3 more arrive to his table SO SOME GUEST CAN BE SEATED BEFORE HALF THE PARTY AREIVE WHILE OTHER CANNOT! We got seated finally and tv signal was gone for the next 10 minutes so we are halfway through the first half already. Waiters overwhelmed and trying to appear interested in serving. Manager comes and apologized due to shortage in staff. Food presentation confusing. Burger topping are under the bun so under entire burger. Today we tried different restaurant and was bullied out by another customer at the bar. So we came to Miller's since we knew it was a great place to go. They are always welcoming and friendly. Maggie was a great bartender. She was fast and attentive. She help with a beer selection on tap. Our food came out at a reasonable time. It was hot and fresh. I ordered the Zingers which were fantastic. My husband ordered the steak and shrimp and his steak was not cook enough. But still delicious. Our first time here was when they first opened and it was decent but I wasn't overly amazed. My friend hadn't been there and wanted to try it so I tagged along. It was an early dinner on a Sunday so I thought hey, we should have a good chance at service. It wasn't very busy and we got seated pretty much right away. Our waitress seemed extremely distracted and we had to wave her down for most of our refills. It seemed like they had her spread pretty thin. Our food was just okay although I do have to say my chicken sandwhich was massive. I feel like this is just another Chili's or Applebee's. Very nice late lunch on a slow Monday. We sat in the bar area in a nice booth. The menu really has something for everyone. Our server was good and friendly. I decided on the grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich with slaw and hubby had the shrimp & chicken Cobb salad. Both were very good. The bar staff Stinks. They are so RUDE. I complained this AM to the manager but I don't feel they did anything. Speaking to the manager did not help me. There are tons of empty tables but they tell you there is an hour wait. Ton of empty seats at the bar and they tell you that it's full go sit outside. It makes NO sense. Fantastic service! i was really impressed by our waitress. She was always on top of what we needed without being overly intrusive. My friend had the most rare steak I have ever seen in town. It can be so hard to get an actual rare steak; I was amazed. The shrimp she ordered, not so good. The spicy mustard sauce just doesn't go well at all. However, all was forgiven when we shared the dessert- Capt Jack's Buried Treasure was worth every calorie. The only reason I am not giving a five star review is due to the over abundance of tvs and the lack of beer selection. I find televisions annoying when they distract from food and company. Understandable that some be present due to the nature of a sports bar, but every single wall ... ugh. Also, quite disappointing to see only a handful of basic beers given the name. A coworker and I stopped in for dinner while traveling on business. There was a 35 minute to 1 hour wait for a table, but were able to grab two seats at the bar immediately. Service was great, and it was fun to watch the bartender serving up drinks with flair. We had an appetizer of the Fried Pot Stickers and I ordered Jambalaya as my entree with a Caesar salad. The app came quickly and was delicious! My salad also came out pretty quickly and was very good as well. Not too long after, our entrees arrived. The Jambalaya was exceptional! It was full of chicken, shrimp and andouille with great seasoning and a little bit of heat. It is about as close to my homemade Jambalaya as I have ever gotten from an eatery. If you love sports this is the place for you ! There are big TVs on every wall showing every sport known to man! That's good if sports is your thing! The food is typical pub food. We started with Spinach Artichoke Dip and I had the Mediterranean Flat Bread and my mom had Chicken Fajitas. The food was average at best! The salsa that came with the dip was good! Order Chips and Salsa! I asked for chicken on my flatbread and when it came out it did not have chicken! Instead of making another flatbread they tossed some chicken on top! It really wasn't good! More than likely won't be returning to Miller's Ale House unless I come for some of the many drink specials that they have on the menu! This was a No for me!
