I love Miller's. I love Miller's for drinks, for Sunday Funday, for dinner, for drunk munchies. They have an extensive menu and I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. A favorite of mine (not health conscious at all) is their Zinger Mount Melt. It's their boneless "wings" (really chicken fingers), I always get the honey bbq sauce, over an entire skillet of loaded fries covered in bacon, a few cheeses, and chives. It is as good and as guilt inducing as it sounds. They have a ton of tvs and sometimes charge a cover if there is fight. It always get packed at dinner time and there is always a wait for a table and a lot of times even the bar; but if you're interested in some high level bar food, and even some food that's outside of your typical bar food expectations, and some drinks at good prices, I'd give Miller's a shot. read more

Good spot for cheap drinks and "Zingers"! Miller's Ale House is known for their zingers. They are chicken fingers in a sauce of your choice. Recently, my boyfriend I visited. We had a great time! They were having a promotion with Coors Light. If you bought a coors light, you got a free one. We also had mozzarella sticks and calamari. The calamari really impressed us! On our way from FL to NY, we stopped last night for a quick dinner. My husband was "ok" with his Steak & Chicken Fajitas, but my CHICKEN PHILLY.. (MENU DESCRIPTION: "Grilled, sliced chicken, sautéed onions, white American cheese, hoagie roll.") ..was not Grilled Sliced Chicken. Instead, it was coarsely Ground Chicken - more like for chicken burgers and such - and not the described Sliced Chicken. The server said it was shredded - it was NOT. Went there tonight to meet friends for a drink. Wife went to bar ordered 5 shots of tequila and two beer came back and said the bartender is rude. In my head I though ok no big deal approximately 45 min later she asked me to close the tab. I go to the bar ask the bar back if he can help me bartender looks busy he tries to get tab unable to get it doesn't say a work to me watch Hume ask bartender she comes over hands me a slip that is not mine I say this is not mine she says ok and walk away. She continues to take ordered for other people around the bar another bartend asked me if they can help I said yes been standing here for 10 min I just want to get my check and go. The first bartender says I told you the system was down. I say you never said that she says you must be haves g a bad day. I say no you said nothing to me and continue taking orders she then processed to tell me again and again I must be having a bad day. The other bartender comes with my tab. I signed and leave. When first walking in, it looks like it would be a great sports bar - tv's everywhere, 2 big bars and a bunch of beers on tap, but that's where the good things end. The food is adequate, but the thing that ruined the whole night was the service or, better yet, the lack of service. Had a waiter who was TERRIBLE and had the personality of a rock. The only thing he seemed interested in was taking selfies with other tables. We were a group of 12, all in town for work and staying at the hotel next door, this place could be a goldmine but with the way the service is, that'll never happen. If you're looking for somewhere to go when in town, avoid this place, save yourself the stress and aggravation and head to one of the places at the mall, I wish our group would have done that! read more

We got here around 6:30 and were seated immediately. Our waitress, Holly, was great. Very friendly and patient. She checked on us several times. Our food came out quickly. I normally go for the chicken zingers with parmesan garlic sauce but I went with french onion soup. The soup was perfect with the right amount of cheese. I really enjoyed it. 5 stars for customer service. The manager went above and beyond to correct the soup situation. There really wasn't much of a situation in my book, but awesome that he wanted his customers to be 100% happy and make things right. THIS is what makes for an awesome restaurant. I've recently written other reviews where managers just didn't give 2 you know whats, and it showed in all aspects of the restaurant. We have since gone back and I'm happy to report that my favorite soup is the way it's suppose to be. lol It really WAS just a fluke. Miller's French Onion Soup may sound like a regular menu item, but it's not I promise. It's got just a little tartness to it that really makes it stand out from all the others. Which is why I like it so much! We also tried the zingers at this location this time. They are REALLY good. You can tell they use FRESH chicken, which really makes all the difference. Salad was fresh and tasty, with juicy chicken and shrimp. It was perfect. Hubby tried the burger, surprisingly something neither of us have tried at Miller's before, and he really enjoyed it. Even said it was "really good." (He's a man of few words what can I say....) Service was again spot on, we never wanted for anything and was a pleasant experience. I'm really glad this location has won me over. I really love Miller's food and they have amazing specials and sporting events, but we had to stop going to the other location bc of the service. My daughter recommended this place so while in the area we gave them a chance. Place looks good and the service was overall worth another visit when in the area again. We had a hard time making a choice as everything looked good on the menu and as other orders walked by we got a look and smell which didn't help any. While our waiter didn't offer any recommendations we all finally made our choices. I have to say that while the service was good, our waiter seemed to have too many tables he was serving. He was over worked, but was able to complete his duties. My wife had the fish and chips which was a large portion and tasted well. Some of the fish could have been cooked just a little bit more but overall was good. My daughter had the French Dip sandwich didn't get any input from her because next thing i knew she was done and she had a full look on her face. I had the 35 shrimp plate with onion rings. My shrimp just like the fish was under cooked just a bit, but was still tasty. The cocktail sauce did help as well. Now while the onion rings tasted good the bottom of the dish had a pool of oil. Also noticed the the French Fries were the same way. Overall everything was good and all plates were large portions as well. I have been here more than once and the food is consistently good. This trip I had a blackened chicken sandwich and my girl had a southwest chicken wrap. Both were very good with fresh, Juicy chicken. We both substituted Onion Rings for fries as they have some excellent onion rings. I have been here previously and gotten the ossubuco, which is superb. If you are coming for dinner, it's difficult to find better Ossubuco, especially at this price. The prices are good, the parking is sometimes busy but usually no problem, and the atmosphere is clean and friendly. My only knock is that the service here seems consistently slow, Both in my own experience and in others. I don't know if they have too large sections or if there is an issue with the kitchen or bar but the service staff is definitely slow. No big deal though, just be patient. read more

The following actually happened during my experience at Miller's Ale House... I was put off within 2 minutes of being inside the building. When I asked the seemingly knowledgable bartender if there were any specials for the Phillies game he first had me repeat my unfathomable question, looked at me like I had 5 heads, then finally answered both rudely and awkwardly, "uhhh no, Miller is $1.95". I'm guessing now that this is just a usual price and by the name of the establishment I should have KNOWN it would always be dirt cheap... Sorry for asking bud... After wrangling a stool for my friend and I to share... More like stand around, I ordered a yeungling. No problems there. But as I began to acclimate myself I realized, the bar being horseshoe shaped, that EVERYONE was staring at each other around it. It was excruciatingly uncomfortable! I now know why bars are usually parallel to the wall. As i was watching the Phillies game and trying to ignore the creepy stares everyone was exchanging, I couldn't help but overhear the odd altercation to my left. Apparently the couple had ordered 10 mild and 10 hot wings, typical bar grub. Well, when the 20 wings had all been presented as one indiscernible pile, and the couple chose to inquire as to how they would tell the difference, they received the following response, "you can't taste the difference?"... Yikes. The couple then proceeded to explain that should one bite into the hot wing when they were fishing for mild that they would have to spit it out... A difficult concept for the bartender delivering the food to comprehend. About an hour after this the couple was delivered the wrong burger AND the wrong fries... I don't think they will be back. I picked up on a list of other negatives about this place during my short and maybe ONLY trip: if the other people around the bar looking at you don't make you feel unwelcome enough, the bartenders talking about you (the couple next to me as I witnessed) right in front of your face will. The women behind the bar were blatantly obnoxious, there, I said it. Also, the pool tables are placed right in the path to the bathrooms, the back (side?) bar is littered with underage drinking, and you may as well start fermenting your own beer after your first... We were really excited that this place finally opened and we had a pretty good experience. Starting with the pros: excellent drink specials, lots of big TVs, lots of space (tables, booths, and TWO bars), good service, tons of stuff to choose from on the menu. Some cons: even though I'm pretty sure they spent like a week training, the staff looked like they were scrambling around, one of the managers was kind of grumpy to me when I asked about sitting down at a specific table, and their music just sucked! We were there for a long time and for the first two to three hours we were there they played back-to-back mediocre 80s music. Then right around nine o'clock they finally switched up the music to something tolerable. We decided to start with an appetizer and then order entrees, but then the appetizer came. The chicken nachos are really big! The menu even warns you, but we didn't expect it to be that big. It was pretty good and filling. The folks with me had a cheeseburger and the chicken fajitas. I didn't try either but both got positive responses from the people that ordered them. I thought the drinks were well-made. The jack and coke was just right. Then we asked the waitress if we could get a pitcher of the skinny margarita, and she made it happen. Awesome! There are also a couple pool tables with adequate room around them. read more

Long wait times, untrained staff, and loud atmosphere plague Miller's, making it one of the less desirable new places to go. A recent experience was a 45 minute wait for an order of nachos. The order of nachos was simply a bag of chips, smoothered in cheese, with toppings dumped all over it. The food was rushed and the presentation was sloppy. I could have fed 5+ people with the order if I cared to. Overall, highly disappointed and not worth the wait. For the sports bar scene Champs and PJ's are better choices. For unique beer, take your car to Iron Hill Brewery. read more
