The portions of food are great and the prices are great! I cannot think of a place where you can get so much for the price you pay. Every time I've been there (once a week) the service has been absolutely fine. The reason to complain about the service is because there are so many people there. The food isn't a high-end 5 star restaurant but it's good. The nacho's are enormous, 35 shrimp for $10, a bottle of vodka & 3 redbulls for $25 (normal price), $5 pitcher of beer, $10 lunch specials. I went there yesterday and they had lobster for $10. It's a great place! Great environment! Great prices and great location. And of course the sports on the flat screen tv are heaven. Not bad! Was in town for the weekend and was staying at a hotel in the area. We only had to wait less than 10 minutes for a seat at a huge booth which was nice since it was only two people. Our waitress was great! Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good, I'm a vegetarian and they had a decent amount of options on the menu for non-meat eaters. We also got a free flatbread for signing up for their mailing list on their website I think? Anything free is always a good perk. We also had a few drinks for happy hour. The size of the drinks were great for the price! And they used top shelf liquor which is a huge plus! read more

The food here is TRASH.. I never understood why this place be pack I guess because the food is cheap .. but that just shows me people will literally eat anything. Soo My first encounter here I ordered the zingers which was NASTY ! No flavor no nothing just breaded breast with sauce. Next I had a lunch salad which was OK... the I ordered a burger TO-GO.. asked for it to be well done when I got home to eat it the burger was bloody I couldnt even take it back because they was closed by that time .. now fast forward to today which is the picture Im posting below I ordered the cheesecake steak sandwich which is made terrible.. how lazy could you be to not cut it in half ? The fries are dry no salt no nothing and the sandwich was a bit soggy as you can see the meat look black Which I assume is coming from a dirty grill. Whatever manager they have and cooks all need to be fired. How do you guys serve food like this... Im pretty sure If I was to call the health department this place would be closed for being dirty even the smell of the restaurant has an old moldly like wett smell. Its just icky and nasty terrible place I would NEVERRRR RECOMMEND anything. And please as for yall trying to compensate I dont want anything from you no nasty free food. I like this place a decent amount. It's always full of people -- mostly new because of the hotels, but some familiar faces. The outdoor seating is great although on nice nights, it will be full. They run an "always" drink special for Smirnoff vodka -- $3 for a single, $6 for a double. I think they might also have this special for Baccardi. They also have $10 pitchers of sangria, although the white is a little sweet for my taste. The food is consistently tasty although a bit pricey for a franchise bar. I am always here on a Wednesday and there are normally four bartenders that are much needed because it's always pretty busy. They do an alright job of getting to you on time although you might wait a little bit depending on the crowd. The girls behind the bar are really friendly and helpful. There is one male bartender I keep seeing that is not. He has glasses and always wears a baseball cap. Blech. The last time I was here, he seemed to be rushing us through every single order -- drinks, food, how to split the checks -- and then consistently fucked them up. He either thinks he's totally hot shit because he's a bartender or he's just a miserable person who is not very good at his job. Just my opinion. read more

I wasn't sure what to get because of how big the menu is, but Julia told me about the new nachos and how great they are. WOW! SO GOOD! Heck, it's been a long time since I've been to an Ale House chain but I must admit I was a little impressed after leaving this Ale House. Granted, I didn't go there for the food, but to meet up with friends. It offers the typical sports bar food and drink. But this place was larger than other Ale Houses I've visited in the past, with tons of high top tables all around the center bar or you can choose to be seated in the restaurant side right through the connecting doors. Since we most of the group of 10 had eaten earlier, except for hungry 3 people, watching them eat was only making the on lookers hungry again! I ordered a brownie dessert since it went well with my glass of red wine. My other friends ordered a combo appetizer plate, which looked like fried deliciousness! (potato skins, onion rings, spinach My brownie dessert was enormous! At least the size of 4 normal brownies, bathed in vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. Oh yummm! Our waitress, Jenna, was fantastic! I normally don't remember servers names but she was awesome handling our group's constant requests with a smile and great attitude as well as splitting up our individual checks. She wasn't fazed in the least! I truly appreciate it when wait staff is on point because it truly adds points to the whole dining experience. So, kudus to you! Thank you for being spot on! There's nothing more upsetting when servers have a crummy attitude. This place is great for large groups or even meeting up with a friend. We decided to have a family brunch before the restaurants normal opening hours here recently. It's not a service typically advertised by the restaurant, being more of a sports bar and all, but the manager John worked with us to accommodate a custom menu for a party of nearly 50 people, including many children, who were staying at the hotel next door. We were allowed to set up floral arrangements, have the entire back room to ourselves for 2 hours, and use their sound system and mic to play music and give speeches. Just so happen to stumble upon this place while traveling the NJ Turnpike. My food was just OK. I ordered a steak and it was just OK. I had been out and about all day and didn't eat so I was hungry and I was left a little disappointed. I ordered shrimp off the kids menu for my daughter and she ate more of my steak than her shrimp. One of my friends also ordered a steak and he felt his steak was undercooked. My last friend ordered ribs and he loved them. Take this quick review with a grain of salt. YMMV! This place is HUGE! I loved the open air bar, though, it was pretty noisy and I was here for a lunch meeting, so we had to go indoors. We sat along some long high top tables, which seemed like a perfect spot to hang out with friends and enjoy some drinks. The service was good, and our food came pretty quickly. I had a salad with grilled chicken that I must say was really tasty. I was impressed with the extensiveness of the menu, lots of options from greasy fried bar food to grilled salmon and fish tacos. I would definitely come here to watch some sports, there are TVs everywhere, and also a couple pool tables. Really like a 3.5 - but ill round up to a 4 for them having a gluen free menu. First off it's huge inside so if you have a large group of people, they can easily accommodate you. They have space inside or outside on the open air patio that they can do large groups. The outdoor, screened in patio is awesome! There is a full service bar out there and tons of seating. And in nice weather the breeze coming in is perfect. They do have a gluten free menu and carry Omission Beer and Tito's vodka so YAY THEM! The burger and baked potato I had was pretty good, no complaints...standard stuff here for the most part. I noticed on the GF menu they called out the dressings that were GF as well which is great for if you were getting a salad. There was a HUGE regular menu and a really decent sized GF menu. If I was looking for a place that was super casual to go drink, hang, watch a game, etc. then I would totally go back to Miller's. read more

I AM a fan! I definitely enjoyed my two times here within 24 hours this past weekend. Maybe it seemed so much better to me because of the crappy service and experience had at the Aloft next door, but I thought it was a nice time. Got there around 1030 on Sunday night for drinks with friends, the place was packed, as the following day was Memorial Day. Unfortunately they closed at midnight so we couldn't stay too long, but it was fine. Our server was great and patient with us while we decided what to drink. He offered selections and was quick to bring us our orders. He didn't even try to rush us out after last call. The following day I went for lunch. Our server, John, was super friendly and helpful. I ordered the chicken cheesesteak with sweet potato fries and my man ordered a good old burger. Both dishes were very yummy, I ate ALL of my food, which I never do anymore! I would gladly recommend this joint for anyone in the area or staying at the Westin or Aloft. read more

Pretty typical chain sports bar. The menu is extensive but too long in my opinion. It's nice having choices but it's like reading a book. It didn't help that the waiter asked what I wanted every minute the last time I went. I've been here 3 times and the food is mediocre at best. The environment is like that of any sports bar and is pretty busy on weekdays. All in all, nothing about this place stands out and would never go out of my way to eat here. read more

I never knew about this place until my guy's sister told him about it. So, my guy and I went yesterday afternoon, and I'm such a fan! We were immediately seated in a large dining room with ample seats, a huge bar, and a pool table. Within seconds, we were offered and served our beverages, and I must say, their selection of beer, while not on par with that of craft-brew pubs, certainly exceeded my expectations for a place that is considered a sports bar. Additionally, the menu offerings were plentiful and tasty AND reasonably priced. I highly recommend the warm spinach dip appetizer and the perfectly grilled chicken breast sandwich (try it with Swiss cheese and fried onions). The wait staff were extremely polite and attentive. At no point did we have to waste time flagging down our waiter. Additionally, the manager, Rob, stopped by our table, got us some water, and asked us how things were. Of course, I told him we'll probably be regulars! Yep, we'll sure be back. Miller's is a big happy place with cheap yummy eats and great drinks - very Lauren H.-ish. Oh, and ladies? Order wings last night and there were supposed to be sriracha bbq. It had no flavor and was a bit under cook. My steak was ok, asked for medium rare and it was medium by good. On my first visit, I had a burger that wasn't very good.. But I decided to give Miller's another chance, and I'm glad I did. They have baby back ribs for $10.99 on Mondays, so I decided to try that. The ribs were seriously some of the best I've ever had! Great flavor, super tender, the meat just fell off the bone. I got it with a loaded baked potato ($0.75 upcharge for loaded), which was decent enough. All in all, a welcome surprise. To all of those here complaining about the bad food, try the baby back ribs and see what you think. read more
