Bacon breakfast burrito with tater tots, cheese and fresh salsa.
    Alison M.

The bacon and tater tot breakfast burrito was delicious! I used a BOGO deal and ordered two iced coffees for my partner and me. Someone mistakenly picked up my order just before I arrived, but the owners kindly remade everything at no extra charge. Their customer care truly stood out. Millie's Kitchen is a fabulous, quaint spot for breakfast or brunch in Lafayette!

The owners are friendly and welcoming in this charming breakfast spot! You must try their coffee cake, they warm it up before they bring it to you and tastes like it just came out of the oven. I ordered a different version of chilaquiles with chipotle sauce which had a smoky flavor and were dry, not wet. Most places make them with red chile pasilla or tomatillo green salsa. And I really liked that I was able to pay via Toast and it only took a few seconds.

Millie's is a great spot for breakfast and lunch. They have a large and diverse menu so there is something for everyone. One of my kids had chocolate buttermilk pancakes, and the other had PBJ French toast. I had chicken tortilla soup and a chopped salad with chicken. Everything is served hot and fresh. No heat lamps. Prices are quite reasonable compared to many restaurants. Victor, the host and owner, is super friendly and makes you feel at home right away. Amy, one of the servers, is such a nice, friendly person. The hospitality they create is exceptional

This is our favorite local breakfast. Everything is good. The owners are so sweet and they always hire local college students as waiters that are so friendly. Best coffee cake around. Highly recommend.

If you're a breakfast lover like me, please go here!!! The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. I was greeted by the owners Victor and Aimee. They were very sweet and friendly. What I ordered: I got the eggs Benedict, perfect poached eggs, perfectly crispy bacon, smothered in Hollandaise sauce, which was delicious! I also tried their FAMOUS COFFEE CAKE!! . It was soft, warm, and had just the right amount of sweetness without being overpowering. Service: Super friendly staff, very attentive. Food came out hot and fast, Overall, This will be my go to breakfast/brunch spot every Sunday! The food is delicious!! I recommend this food spot!

Wanted to update because I brought my mom and little brother from out of town food and coffee as always was amazing. It was not super busy for 1pm on a Saturday but I will never complain about that. Aimee was super nice and helpful with my brother who just had mouth surgery and could only eat soft foods.

I thought the food was pretty decent and I like that this place is a relatively low key brunch spot, at least compared to most brunch spots I've eaten at in the Bay Area. The wait wasn't long on a Saturday morning but parking is not fun at all. The parking lot is pretty tight too so you kinda need to get lucky if you don't want to park on the street or worse, that steep little hill next to the restaurant. I saw patrons absolutely struggle to get out of that area when they were leaving. If I ate here again, with the benefit of hindsight, I would make sure to tell my waiter that I want my eggs to be much runnier than they were today. The eggs on my benny were essentially hard boiled eggs which, while not a bad thing, are not my favorite. The potatoes also could've been cooked longer since I found them kind of hard. These faults didn't stop me from cleaning my plate though since I'm fat. The chocolate chip pancakes were my favorite thing to eat here and I'd probably order those again.

Food is good. Nothing exceptional. We had chilaquiles (not traditional but ok)?. Good kids menu and options. Very affordable. And mostly for locals. The wait staff is nice but forgetful Parking is limited and the owner or manager, the older tall man is not very nice.

A friend of mine drove a few blocks down the road and found free street parking too. The place itself has multiple seating options. We sat in the nice room for my friends bday. We were a group of 13 and our total was about $500 for brunch items, mímosas. They gave a bread pudding for the bday girl on the house. I felt like the prices are a bit high but that's a personal opinion. I got the frittata which tasted alright and it was $24. Service was decent but nothing too good or too bad that stood out from it either. If they have a happy hour, I'll come back again because the ambiance is very nice. I was told that my dish comes with a free side salad but i was later charged for a sad looking garden lettuce salad for $8. I still don't know what happened there. Maybe a miscommunication.

They sat us down right away, so that was good. One of the waiters came around to see if we needed waters, which was nice as well. Our waitress Doreen (spelling might be wrong), came by shortly after to see if we needed drinks. We all ordered drinks and appetizers. We ordered the calamari and the deviled eggs. Both ditches came out shortly after as well, and they both were really good. For an entrées, we ordered the Ahi tuna, the pork chop, the Petrole Sole. Al drinks were very tasty (Sangria, old fashioned, rum and coke, and a wine cabaret, Entrees came out and everything looked really good. Sole I was told was really good, Great flavor and cooked perfect. Pork chop was also cooked perfect and had great flavor to it. The mash potatoes and spinach came with was also cooked great. The Ahi Tuna was cooked perfect seared great, the tomato Veggies or whatever it was underneath the tuna was cold. Don't know why they would have a cold veggies or whatever it was under the tuna. As a huge fan of French cuisine, I'd been following RÊVE for years and decided to book a table for the graduation dinner. I made a reservation about three months in advance just to be safe, since the restaurant only has about eight indoor tables. The restaurant was tucked away in a nondescript strip mall, but upon entering through the side gate, I felt like I was stepping into a Parisian neighborhood bistro. Our friendly waitress walked us through the menu and seasonal specials and even pointed out the can't-miss dishes. Thank goodness we followed her advice - the frites were among the best I've ever tasted! We debated ordering another cone of frites but decided to pace ourselves because we also ordered the gougères, RÊVE salad, and escargot to share. Additionally, we received complimentary fresh baguette and butter. For my main dish, I decided to try the quenelle, which can be described as a soft dumpling made from seafood purée that resembles a velvety soufflé. Every bite had a rich seafood flavor that, even now, I can't stop thinking about. Even though we were quite full after dinner, we were tempted by the dessert menu and decided to split the chocolate mousse and French opera cake. Both desserts were exquisite - they were small portions but packed a lot of richness without being overly sweet. Our dinner was made extra special by the restaurant staff, who remembered that we were celebrating a graduation and signed a card for us. From the team going above and beyond to the excellent meal, this was one of the best meals I've had this year. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
