My friend who lives in Rocklin recommended this place since I was across the street and didn't know what to eat. He is a regular there and recommended the lamb/beef gyro meat with my Greek salad. Omg!!!! It was sooo delicious!! The meat was full of flavor and warm. There were plenty of olives in there and I loved the dressing and the yogurt dip it came with with pieces of bread on top. I killed the entire salad. It was very refreshing and just the perfect full. I didn't feel gross after or unsatisfied. I was very satisfied. The cashier was very nice. It is a mom and pop and I love that! Will know where to go next time I'm in rocklin again. read more

We have been going here consistently for a year now and this was our last and final visit. Our son found an odd clove type of thing on his burger, when my husband asked the owner what it was the owner grabbed it from him and threw it back in his face and called him a liar insinuating that we brought it in with us?! His absolute toddler tantrum as he stormed through his kitchen yelling and waving meat around the counter has cost him regular family business and I would discourage anyone from supporting a business owner that treats his paying customers this way. My 6 year old thought he behaved worse than a two year old and I couldn't agree more. No one in my community should treat people this way over being asked a question. read more

I placed an order on the phone while I was in the car with two other people. We all heard the lady read back what we said back correctly when we went and picked up the food up and brought it home it was was incorrect, no cheese, no mushrooms as per requested. When I called to tell her she argued with me and told me that the cheese melted so that's why I can't see it and no excuse for the lack of mushrooms. She said " What do you want me to do about it?" I said "I would like my sandwiches made correctly" She said fine then come back and we will make you new sandwiches. So I drove 10 minutes back to the restaurant just to have the owner grab my bag out of my hands and only offer me cash in return and tell me he's not going to make me another sandwich because I will probably say it's wrong again. I would've rather had a refund over the phone, then waste my time and gas driving all the way back over there for nothing not to mention being embarrassed in front of customers in the restaurant for their mistake. We have been loyal customers of this restaurant for multiple years going on a weekly basis. Very sad how they treat loyal customers just over wanting my sandwich being made correctly The food is good when made correctly but not worth that type of service. read more

Stopped by for a Greek salad with chicken. Hubs got a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Both were adequate. They werent wonderful. Chicken on my salad was bland. Tzatziki sauce was bland too. Lettuce was fresh. Tomatoes and cucumber was fresh. Cheesesteak sandwich had large chunky grisly meat. Sandwich was greasy and requires a major hand wash afterwards. Super friendly service. The owner is a very sweet man and the horrible front counter lady is no longer there and the food is as good as ever. This restaurant is in a little strip mall. There is always parking right out front. You can eat inside or out. The food comes quickly and a great price for the amount of delicious food. Today I had the chicken gyro with French fries. I always love the gyros but have never had their French fries. They were freshly made, not oily, crispy and hot!!!! Yummmmm!! We will continue to return here as we now live closer. read more

The picture is what I left, as I couldn't stomach anymore. My chicken gyro was full of tzatziki sauce with no flavor. But, the chicken, by Cthuhlu, the chicken. If you insist on serving poor quality frozen chicken, please learn to thaw it correctly so I'm not struggling through chicken flavored rubber bits. After the fourth attempted bite with this disgusting flavor and awful texture, I walked out due to frustration. The garlic cheese bread was gooey and decadent dipped in the marinara sauce. The gyro came with fries and a side of ranch. The fries were hot and seasoned nicely. The gyro didn't disappoint-plenty of feta, chicken and loved the pita bread. The baklava was good, too! Total was $16, I have a happy tummy. Great fries and cheesesteaks. They aren't as big as another place here in Rocklin that closed down recently however they are more than enough to fill up on. The bread is always fresh and has the texture that only really fresh bread has. That with the savory beef/cheese innards make for satisfactory eatin'. The fries are killer. I can see myself going there for those alone. The place is super close to my crib and in the cuts yet totally easy to find and accessible. I've seen the salads here and they look killer. Lots of other things to eat here so don't be afraid to try them. I'm not. I like that they have specials too. I usually get me and the fam the works cheesesteaks with fries but I'm going for a special next time. Never disappointing. Rocklin has hella great spots to try like this. Glad I moved here. Worth a trip from Sacto for sure. Right by Ken's comics too which is another "comic book" gem in the area. read more

I came in one time after a very hard day at work and ordered a lamb gyro and a garlic chicken on pita. I didn't have enough for both and I told the cashier (Anna) to just take off the gyro. I have never been to Milo's before and I was finally in the mood for a philly cheesteak. I went in at 4pm the place is absolutely dead. No customers. As I'm standing there looking at the beat up menu that you can not read. I asked the manager? Or whoever was at the front a few general questions., Which I was answered with by obvious disdain in his voice. I ordered a kids meal for my daughter who is 4. A man walks in and stands in line behind me. I asked for my meal a phillycheesteak with extra cheese and sauce plus no mushrooms, and was hopeful to possibly sub out the mushrooms for cheese. He said no you have to pay for extra cheese( sure I understand that) then he explained there was no sauce on it. Okay so what sauces do you have. He then remarked are you going to order or not cause I have customers. Oh okay excuse me, I guess I'm not exactly a customer now am I? I asked if they had 1000 island and if they make it fresh and he answered "no he buys everything and once again if I'm ready to buy" I decided to leave. Why would I have someone make me something when he obviously doesn't consider me a customer at all. A total of 3 people have gone in and out since I've been here, so you are paying$10-$13 for fast food. He could have taken the time to answer me and been kind. To which it seems this man has zero customer service desire or training. He claimed he was waiting for 10 mins while I looked at the menu. Sir you are at work, you couldn't have left anyways and I said I was not ready and needed to look at the sad excuse for a menu. If an eatery can not afford to put up a decent menu then you should think twice about what he can afford to put into the food. I will never ever even consider wasting my time to go here again. So we went to Milo's on Friday Nov 10. Normally Milo's is my go-to place for a gyro so my wife and I ordered a couple of gyros. At first taste we knew something was off, the tzatziki sauce was fizzy, very acidic and rancid. I brought it up to the staff and they asked who I assume is the owner or manager and he got really defensive and said that that's the way they make it. I asked if they could remake the gyro without the Tzatziki. He said that he Hi didn't want to lose any more money and offered our money back if we didn't want to eat it. We ate it, pushing the sauce aside. Then we discovered the brown, rotting lettuce, as pictured within the gyro wrap. Honestly, I think they mixed an older batch of tzatziki with a fresh batch and that's why the taste was off. Highly disappointed in the way they handled the situation. Won't be going back for a while, which is a shame. read more
