Instead of cheesy casseroles and cheong fun, you'll find healthy-ish rice bowls. In any case, the bowls are pretty good. I really like their fried tofu, which is silky and delicate on the inside with a crispy, but not overly fried, exterior. Not very good. AOF. I'm not sure whether the crispy chicken dish is meant to have burnt spicy crisps on it but it does, too much of it. Tastes like burned leftovers from the pan after you fry the chicken and it's super spicy. The chicken, salad and rice ratio is off, there's too much rice, not enough chicken and again too much burnt stuff. The dumplings weee aweful, fell apart immediately and the sauce is soo spicy, literally burnt my mouth, did not see that one coming. This is the only dumpling sauce they carry. They charge for any additional sauce even if you don't want the spicy one, so if you can't have spicy food, don't bother trying this place. The drinks are advertised as bottled but they are not. The egg tart soft serve had a light flavor and the caramelized puff pastry went well with it. Both buns were made of the same bread with different fillings. The bun itself was soft and fluffy, but very small, and the top of the buns did not have the typical crunch or flavor as traditional pineapple buns. The duck bun came warmed and I thought the filling was tasty, but I wish there was more filling/a bigger bun for the price. I enjoyed them, but they only came with chili oil. They really needed some vinegar for balance. The duck bun had a tender, savory filling that could have used a little more duck, but was great nonetheless. The highlight was the egg tart soft serve I went back to the counter to get, which I couldn't pass up despite being pretty full. It was a good portion adorned with crispy pastry. It's literally what you think popcorn chicken should be, especially with the chili powder on it, which in and of itself isn't actually that salty or spicy.
