I think most of the hair stylist there are good but I got this old lady and think her name was Angie. She finished my hair in 10 mins and I had to tell her 4 or 5 thinks that needed to be fixed. She did them reluctantly. Then she got a phone call and chatted away for few minutes not caring for the customer. So I just told her to fix few things and got out of there because I don't think anyone wants their hair cut with some body that doesn't care and not willing to do a good job. read more

BEWARE: I walked in with my 2 children 11 and 4yrs. I am of african American decent. Wanted my 11 year old hair cut who is caucasian. We walked in and every single person in the salon just stared as we sat down. We sat for 10 min not 1 person said hello or even spoke 1 word to us. We walked out and will never go back. They spend a good amount of time on your hair, and on Tuesdays they have the $10 men's special. They even washed my hair because I had product in it before the cut for the same price. I wish it were closer but if you can get here on a Tuesday and are a guy, it's worth a shot! read more

I didn't get the name of my barber but she was great. Very meticulous! Seriously, it was like my hair was an art piece she wanted to perfect before I left. The only gripe I have was that it took a while, but for someone to cut your hair with that much effort for as low of a price as this place is, I should be grateful. Mimi Salon got themselves a new loyal customer! Went in to get my hair colored. I had gone to a more expensive salon to get the coloring, which they botched so badly. I was scared to come to a less expensive place for fear of wasting another $200, but I was wrong! Service was amazing. From the moment I entered, I felt welcome. Manager and hairstylist were friendly and went the extra mile in making sure I liked the color and style. Hairstylist made great suggestions about the style and color, even suggesting an ombre style to me. They even curled my hair after it was dyed. I can't believe I tried to go to a more expensive salon when there was an economical, higher quality option right in town. The color was exactly how I wanted it to be, and especially since the other salon messed it up, I had an exact color pictured in my mind that I wanted. They know what they are doing and really care about the customer's satisfaction and comfort, even the pickiest customer like me.
