    Sausage Breakfast Sandwich
    Aileen L.

I stopped by Mini Model on our way up to St Helena just before their closing time on a Saturday, and snagged a quick snack. The space is just a little two window setup for ordering and pick-up; super cute and quick service. I got the sausage breakfast sandwich, and it came out piping-hot. This was my first time having a Model Bakery english muffin, and I was honestly shocked by how shatteringly crisp the exterior was and how fluffy soft the inside was. The aioli, cheese, sausage, and thick egg patty made for a hearty breakfast sandwich that was super tasty. Get yourself to any of the Model Bakery locations - the english muffins truly are life changing.

We were in yountville for the day and started with mini model. Small shack located diagonally across the street from bouchon bakery. Line is shorter but there are fewer staff so you may end up waiting just as long if not longer for your order. We ordered one breakfast sandwich and it took about 20-25 min. We ordered via DoorDash to use our csr credit. However be forwarded everything is a few dollars more via dd pickup.

Very short line compared to Bouchon Bakery. The heavy breakfast sandwich is a solid (affordable) base for a day of wine tasting. Can't go wrong with any pastries either, and definitely pick up a pack of English muffins for home!

Wow this place exceeded my expectations. A small but mighty place. They weren't kidding when they say they're English muffins are world famous worthy. I've never had an English muffin like it. Fluffy but crispy and perfectly paired with the egg and cheddar. The matcha was also very good! Would definitely recommend.

Must come back early to try their breakfast sandwiches and wraps. They sell out early. Tried the English muffin with butter and raspberry jam which was delicious!

We grabbed coffees & a banana walnut muffin, all good. The coffee quality is good, not bitter. I really enjoyed my latte. The banana walnut muffin was also fresh and flavorful. Not sure about food options but great stop to get a coffee & quick snack. Service was fine, it's a grab & go. Wait time was fine. I liked the overall style & wooden deck.

I can see why these are Oprah's favorite English muffins. The English muffins were fluffy and buttery and paired well with the sausage and egg. The coffee was standard but still good! The service was great and they were super friendly!

Mini Model Bakery is a super cute little coffee shop and bakery to stop by at. In my personal opinion their pastries and drinks are not the best. If you really want a good bakery, go to Bouchon or Honor Market, both having great selections. The service is pretty quick but not the fastest. They also do not have much seating whereas Honor Market does. If you are looking for a quick place to pick up breakfast I would recommend choosing other options nearby.

Model Bakery has been a fixture in Sonoma County for decades. The reason is that their products are awesome. This is a distribution satellite and no baking is done here. No matter, it was fresh. This location is a old raid car and is a order at the window place. In my scoring system, this loses a star as there is not table service to judge. The service was very quick. This is in stark contrast to its famed neighbor across the way. There is a small amount of spartan seating which is fine by me. The Food. It's a mistake not to get something including. the famed english muffin featured on Oprah and shipped around the world. It's quite good. Not sure i would travel from Paris to sample, but a solid choice. Frankly, if you need breakfast, this is the place in yountville not Bouchon across the street where it takes 45 minutes to get a coffee and bakery item. Bouchons stuff is stale, Model is fresh

Mini Model...a cute little outpost of the larger Model Bakery in St Helena and in Napa. Home of Oprah's favorite English Muffins! Order at one window and pick up at the other. There are a few outdoor seats, or take your items to go. In addition to the English muffins, they offer a variety of delicious-looking baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. We ordered lattes. They now use Caffe Vita beans (out of Seattle). I was surprised that they don't partner with a local, CA roaster. But we enjoyed the smooth, and easy to drink bevvies. We purchased a 6-pack of the English muffins for home and tried one so far. Large, buttery, and delicious.

The hype for these English muffins is real. Stopped by for a breakfast sandwich and plain toasted muffins (we put in a mobile order ahead of time because the line is always crazy here), and MAN was it all delicious! There's a bit of outdoor seating, but we found a table within walking distance nearby to eat our sandos. Free parking in the lot behind.

The shop is small inside, but there's seating in the back. We got a dozen assorted macarons for $40, and each flavor was so good. We were a little impatient and didn't wait for some of them to fully soften up before diving in, but they were still great. Macaron Flavors We Tried (all 5/5): - Watermelon Tajín - Curry Coconut (kids least favorite but I enjoyed it) - Elote - Blueberry Cheesecake - Lavender - Salted Caramel - Passionfruit - Cookie Butter I also tried their Tiramisu Cold Brew, which I really enjoyed. I can't wait to come back and try more of their macaron flavors!

Although the macarons were delicious, the customer service was far from it. We came maybe 30 minutes before closing, and she was probably irritated that more people came, because it really showed, in her face expression, the tone of her voice, and body language. Who would want that kind of service?? And should we want to return, and be treated like we were an inconvenience. We never felt so unwelcomed. This isn't just my opinion, my whole family felt the same way. It's just so sad because good products was ruined by such terrible customer service. Wouldn't recommend people to come here, specially at the end of the day. You'll just be disappointed by the girl who clearly doesn't want to help you.

My absolute favorite is the Dang Dazy milk chocolate--its velvety texture paired with crunchy almond and hazelnut bits creates the perfect balance. The Earl Grey dark chocolate was also incredibly good. While the richness of the dark chocolate leans slightly dominant, you can still catch those subtle, fragrant notes of Earl Grey in each bite. At around $3 per bonbon, it's definitely on the pricier side--but considering the quality, creativity, and variety of flavors, I think it's completely justified. It's especially heartbreaking to share that this is widely considered one of the best artisan chocolate shops in California, and they're now closing their only store in Yountville due to slow business and rising costs. Losing a place like this feels like losing a true gem. If you're anywhere near Yountville, make the trip and show them some love while you still can.

There was no one in the store when we visited, and no one behind us waiting so we took our time choosing. The lady working behind the counter seemed slightly exasperated with us. Regardless, we ended up picking a 9 piece box, which was $27. The subsequent times we visited, it was a different employee, who was more friendly so your experience may vary. Regardless, pretty good chocolate overall, albeit pricey, but the store feels kind of cold and sterile.

The reason for my review is because of the cleaning procedure. We had a two top by the row of cushioned bench sitting by the bakery counter. One of the employees (who was nice but) was vigorously sweeping all the crumbs on the floor. They were flying in our direction and I was dodging the debris so my shoes wouldn't get hit, which was unsettling. The kicker was she then took that same broom she was sweeping the floor with and started vigorously sweeping off the crumbs on "the cushions" where people sit!! That grossed me out :( A clean warm towel to wipe the seating down would be more appropriate.

Quail and Condor was one of our favorite spots when visiting Healdsburg for the first time…read more One of the first distinctive notes we found with Quail and Condor was that it was located in a pretty big warehouse-like structure. There are tall ceilings and a good number of tables/seats indoor and some smaller tables outside. On a Saturday late morning while we were there, we did notice that there was pretty constantly a line. However, it is pretty fast moving and took us about 10 minutes to get through ourselves. You'll start by seeing some merchandise and online orders before getting to the baked goods, drinks/cakes, and the cashier. The staff was super friendly and helpful in answering our questions and offering suggestions. Once you order, you get a number if you're eating in and can grab cutlery, water cups/water, and look for a seat. There is also a good restroom that was clean. We sat on one of the bigger tables/benches and our order came in about 7 minutes. Here's what we ordered: +Veggie quiche: One of the best items we had. Loved the flaky pie crust and how big it was. The quiche was delicious and came with a small side salad. +Ham and cheese croissant: A good croissant. Loved the everything bagel-like seasoning on top. I think this being warmed up would go the extra mile. +/-Ricotta and jam toast: The toast was good here. But the ricotta/jam were a little bland. Would have benefitted from a little more of a bold flavor to help give it a distinctive taste. -Iced matcha latte: We also ordered the iced matcha latte. They didn't have almond milk so opted for oat milk. Unfortunately this was the weakest item we had personally. The oat milk was a bit too strong and combined with the matcha used, it left with a bit of a strange aftertaste. Parking wasn't too hard as it was in a pretty big parking lot. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would come back!
