Husband and i went for brunch at about 11am on Sunday 11.20. There were 2 tables left, so we were lucky to have the one table! As more people arrived, they had to wait for tables to open up. As other reviewers noted, there was only 1 person staffing. I didn't catch her name but she is a great testament to dedication and a strong work ethic. Her roles: - greet custoners and direct them to the table - give bad news that all tables are full, with a estimated wait time - take food orders - transit orders to the kitchen -pick up orders from the kitchen - deliver food to tables - manage to go orders - staff the bar and prepare drinks - fill other table drinks. she kept my coffee cup full as well as our water, across all tables - provided our bills, managed cashouts and provided togo boxes - assisted togo phone orders -bussed then cleaned tables and chairs All with a pleasant, polite and kind demeanor Food was great as well. Great plating and taste combinations! Husband had the loaded waffle and loved the variety of waffle, eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy-- he was stuffed! i was not able to finish my pork verde benedict--way too much food but fantastic flavors! Potatoes tasted like they were fresh.. not from a bagged, frozen preparation-- they were firm to the fork and not soggy! We will return. This is a quiet spot near the sumner sounder station but it does get busy! We were not in a rush so i can't tell you how long we waited.. plus that doesnt make a difference to us as we were there to enjoy a delicious brunch. For those who are looking for FAST service.. i would say to recognize the reality that you're living in a major metropolitan area even in puyallup and sumner-- if you want FAST, go to McDonalds for those pre-prepared foods. thanks again for the fantastic service and great food!

I have to say this place missed the mark for me. I love Dirty Oscars in Tacoma and seeing that the menu is the same I'm thinking they are owned by the same person. I just wish that person could secure the same quality of food as the Tacoma location. The food here left a lot to be desired in comparison. The service was ok but also could stand to improve. I understand the restaurant struggle these days from personnel shortages to supply chain challenges but that cannot be the excuse forever.

Genuinely the worst breakfast experience. The only good thing was the vanilla lattes we ordered. The server couldn't tell me what non-dairy options they had. My friend ordered a cherry cordial coffee and it was disgusting, made totally wrong and curdled. It was corrected by another server. Our server seemed clueless. I ordered a Diablo scramble and the meat and bacon were totally RAW and uncooked and so were my potatoes, which were uncooked, unseasoned, and cold in the middle. I hope I don't get sick. My boyfriend ordered a 2 egg breakfast with over-easy eggs, sourdough (which was an extra charge) and vegan sausage. It came out with regular sausage, white bread, and scrambled eggs. She took off my plate from the bill but we paid for everything else. Soooo bad... I wouldn't eat here. Not food safe. Especially them serving meat when promising vegan and serving raw meat. Someone is bound to get sick. Also, over $3 just to add flavoring and non-dairy to a latte. Ridiculous.

We love DOA so when we found out they opened this kid friendly place in Sumner, we knew we had to go. Super friendly staff. They were out of some stuff (grapefruit juice for mimosas, sauerkraut, and crab cakes) but we were able to make other choices. Daughter got chicken & biscuit which she devoured. Son got chicken and waffles (HUGE) he was able to eat the bacon filled waffle, but chicken is coming home as leftovers which who can be mad about that. Hubs got the Diablo scramble. He said it could have been spicer, but it was perfect for me who doesn't like pain when I eat. I got the traditional eggs Benny. The hollandaise sauce was out of this world buttery. Eggs were perfect. I was in heaven. We will be back!

Great brunch spot!! Stopped here while I waited for an oil change at Sunset Chevy. Staff was so nice and checked on me multiple times even when I sat outside and was the only one out there(it was chilly). Stuffed pancake was delicious and Bloody Marry had just enough snacks (including bacon) on top with a nice spicy kick. I will for sure be back hopefully on a warmer day because I love a good patio!

food was to perish for. sat well in my tummy. great service too! the feng shui is a bit awkward since they've got a lil bar area so seats are limited if you've got minors in the party. ;) will be going back.

First time trying this place and was really disappointed! The chicken and waffles was so salty you could eat it and the tots came out soggy.

Awesome! Couldn't have enjoyed our visit to Crockett's any more…read more We stopped in on a Saturday for lunch. It was relatively busy, but our server was great! The fried zucchini were prepared in a manner that we haven't seen before - long, flat pieces. Excellent! My wife had the Sloppy Joe - and she couldn't have been more pleased. Seasoned to perfection. I opted for a Wedge Salad, which was another item prepared in a way I hadn't seen before either - it wasn't a big rock-like salad, it was sliced and laid sideways. Perfect. and with lots of bacon! We'll definitely be back to Crockett's! (We'll just have to find a reason to go to Puyallup.)

Came here per their suggestion, because I'm a food snob, and I'm glad we did. Cool little place, super clean, nice decorum, yada yada yada. Our server was Jessica T. I am very neurotic, and she was very patient, and even engaged in back and forth banter. She came to take our drink order, and if you know me, I always have a lot of complex requests. I started off ordering a boring vodka and soda, but then switched it up to cucumber vodka with muddled lime and mint with soda. Visibly and vocally unperturbed, she took my order along with my counterparts. The bartender whipped me up a couple of those bad boys and let me tell you, it was refreshment level: EXPERT. And props to the bartender, whom I thanked on the way out. After I drink order, I started ordering all sorts of ish. We had, an order of grilled sourdough, which was phenomenal and I'm actually going to start making that at home, if I ever get there, me and my (non-romantically involved, strictly platonic cuz I don't swing that way) partner both had the Cavatappi Ragu, and his wife had something with meatballs, that's all I can really remember. Man, even a my standards the food was so good. I'm very grateful that my folks picked up the check, and I feel bad because I ordered so much stuff, which I wasn't expecting because I went Ham on the menu, but damn man.... I think you can actually eat cheaper at a comparable restaurant in LA... Prices were pretty high. Even for me hahaha BUT all that being said, the next time I come see these clowns, I want to go back! Very good experience, very good food, very good service. ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. My sister and I ordered Phillies with an appetizer of fried pickles. I was worn that the combo Philly is a little spicy which it was so just a heads up. My sister really liked her mushroom Philly plus the fried pickles were really good when they're super hot but then not so good when they cool down. The fried pickles came with no sauce which I'm used to having sauce with a fried appetizer. The flavor was there for the Phillies. I felt like the bread gave out due to the juice of the Phillies, which then made it really hard to eat the Philly and I was never given utensils to pick up any scraps so there for had to use my fingers and eat the rest of the Philly that fell through the bun. That was my only complaint though.

So this visit I got the strawberry milkshake with the shot of vodka, delicious; and we also ordered the Three pepper bomb hamburger, outstanding; we also got the buffalo calamari, which was again one of my favorites. But the problem came when we ordered the Nashville hot wings and the salmon sandwich. Both were lacking in flavor and presentation. One of the big issues with the salmon sandwich. The sandwich was served on thick cold bread, I couldn't barely taste the salmon and all the other ingredients on the sandwich (see photo). Wait. I take that back. You can also taste the billion tomatoes they had on the sandwich. I let the staff know the bread on my sandwich was not hot and ask them to toast the bread. Well, I got the sandwich back in five minutes and I don't know how they toasted the bread, but what they did made the sandwich a lot worse than it already was. I did not finish the sandwich at all. The Nashville, hot sauce was not great. The way the wings were served it looked like they brushed the sauce on the wings. Definitely, not my preference. I like my wings dipped and saucey. I probably shouldn't complain since the sauce wasn't that good. I'm actually advocating that they remove the salmon sandwich from the menu because if they can't do this well then they should just stick with burgers.
