    Mint Juleps-so refreshing!
    Lyane P.

We were at Disney on a HOT and muggy day! Mint Juleps revived us on this scorcher of a day!!! This is light and refreshing--so delicious and doesn't taste too sugary. We waited in a line for only about 10 minutes to order and drinks came out immediately!

Come here for the Mickey beignets if you wanna eat a beignet that's less calories because it's hollow lol. They used to have really awesome beets at jazz kitchen, but since they change the decor to more modern from New Orleans style, the beignets don't taste the same.

Best non-alcoholic, refreshing drink in disneyland hands down!! That is all you need to know. Now go get one!!

My wife and I love the beignets so we had to hit the Mint Julep Bar. It used to be called Cafe Du Monde. You order from the cashier first and them they give you the order from the window. They have 3 and 6 pack . The beignets are shape like Mickey and covered in powder sugar. I think they changed the recipe since it was really chewy this time. Not as fluffy. We really didn't like them at all this time. Very disappointing. At least the line wasn't long so we didn't wait too long for being disappointed.

Tried the beignets at Mint Julep Bar and they definitely lived up to the hype. They come out hot and fresh, covered in a generous amount of powdered sugar--so be ready to get a little messy. The texture was perfect: crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. Not too heavy either, which makes it way too easy to finish the whole batch. Order on mobile, the wait was not that bad and it's a nice spot to just take a break and snack while walking around New Orleans Square. If you're at Disneyland, this is an easy must-try snack. I'd definitely get them again.

This is the perfect place to indulge in the iconic Mickey-shaped beignets--whether you go for the traditional powdered sugar version or one of their seasonal offerings. They also serve nonalcoholic mint juleps that rotate seasonally, and they're incredibly refreshing. We've tried both the classic mint julep and the hibiscus mint julep, and honestly, you can't go wrong--both are light, flavorful, and the perfect complement to warm park days. Mobile ordering is available here, and I highly recommend using it since the lines can get long. Bonus: once you pick up your order, you can even try to catch the train nearby for a relaxing ride through Disneyland Park. It's a simple, tasty break that feels uniquely Disneyland and never disappoints.

The Mint Julep Bar is such a cute beignet stand in New Orleans Square! I I grew up in Houston, Texas, and went to New Orleans, Louisiana a number of times. Unfortunately, these beignets really didn't cut it - they were just breads blobs sitting on top of a layer of powdered sugar in the bottom of the bag. We tried shaking the bag and the powdered sugar didn't really stick. The flavor and texture of the beignets was off and the shape was pretty distorted so it looked more like a 'hang loose' sign than a Mickey Mouse head. The Julep tasted pretty good and minty at first sip but the second sip on tasted really synthetic and chemical-like to me. I ended up tossing the whole thing. I think there are way better drinks like the Yuzu Lemonade at Harbor Galley close by.

Mickey shaped beignets! It was my first time having a beignet at Disneyland. I have been missing out all for so many years! I placed a mobile order on the app. Would highly recommend as the line to order in person might be long. I went to the pick up window for my order (you will get a notification on the app when it is ready). I ordered the 3 piece. The beignets were hot, fluffy, soft, light and airy. A bit hollow. It was really good though. Eating this will get messy so definitely have some napkins ready! I read that some people were saying the beignets from Downtown Disney are better but to me, I think both are good in their own ways.

Stopped by the Mint Julep Bar and tried the beignets--delicious sugary goodness that's perfect for a long day at the park! They come three to an order for about $10, which is pretty standard for Disneyland. The only thing I noticed is that the middle was completely empty, even though they're fried donuts, but the flavor and sweetness made up for it. Overall, tasty and satisfying--definitely a nice treat.

A little corner serving mint juleps and beignets and other refreshments. Use Mobile Order to save time. Located near the Train Depot and the restrooms. Such a great place for refreshments. Lots of tables and chairs to enjoy your meals.

This was my go to for Beignets for years, but now, not so much. We were so excited to get them, we haven't been to Disneyland for at least 5 years. We missed the warm powered sugared, soft, and fluffy pastry. It was such a disappointment. The Mickey shaped beignets were not looking like Mickey shape. They tasted bland and there was not fluffiness to the pastry. It was awful. We should have returned them, but we didn't want to wait in the line again. We did not finish them and threw them away. Disney should be doing better.

First time going to Mint Julep Bar in Disneyland to try the beignet's. The line was super long and I had to return for a ride so I ordered on the app which was over an hour. For my 1st time tasting them I think they are just powered dough! Tasty but I don't honestly see your hype. There is another location that sells the in the downtown district that I'll try tomor then give an update.

When visiting Disneyland, it's a must to always get some Mickey shaped beignets at this place. The texture has a crispy outside, fluffy and moist in the inside. It just melts in your mouth specially it's dusted with powdered sugar.

Ask the Community - Mint Julep Bar

Is there anyway to get some to go without having to buy a ticket to Disneyland?

No, but if you want some good beignets, Ralph Brennan's jazz kitchen in downtown Disney does have an express section

Do you have to make a reservation?

nope, it's first come first serve. they also do preorders on the disneyland app.

The blueberry donuts tasted like a cake donut with blue berries mixed in. Not too overly sweet, a little bit harder than expected. They were small, but packed a lot. After such a long wait, it was disappointing to have such a limited selection left. We were also told that our car was capped at 12 donuts, even though there were five people in the car. That limit didn't feel reasonable for a group our size, especially after waiting 90 minutes, and it would have been helpful to know about it before getting to the front. The donuts themselves were delicious and tasted very fresh, so the quality is definitely there. However, the extremely long wait, lack of available flavors, and unexpected ordering limit made the experience far less enjoyable than it should have been.

I picked up a small assortment so I could get a good feel for what they offer. Before I even got to the donuts, I have to ask: why does the box have four holes in it? I understand it's probably meant to resemble donut holes, but it seems like an odd design choice. For donuts that aren't exactly cheap, I'd rather have a box that keeps them fresh than one with decorative cutouts. Now for the donuts: Chocolate Raised: The donut itself was surprisingly light, airy, and soft with a nice chew. The texture was exactly what I want from a raised donut. The problem was the chocolate icing. The first bite tasted good, but after a few seconds it left an almost burnt, slightly bitter aftertaste that became more noticeable with every bite. It completely overshadowed what was otherwise a really nice donut. Glazed: This was easily my favorite of the bunch. A good glazed donut is the benchmark for any donut shop, and Randy's did a respectable job. The glaze had a pleasant sweetness without being overwhelming, and the dough was soft and fresh. For some reason, though, it felt a little denser and heavier than the chocolate raised, even though the flavor was much better. Maple: The maple flavor itself was enjoyable and had a nice, rich sweetness without tasting artificial. The icing was noticeably thicker than I expected, almost like a layer of frosting instead of a thin glaze. While it tasted good, that extra thickness made the donut feel heavier and richer than I usually prefer. Blueberry Cake: This one just wasn't for me. The cake texture felt dense and dry compared to the raised donuts, and the blueberry flavor didn't really come through. Instead, it had an artificial sweetness that left me wanting to move on after just a couple of bites. Cronut: It's essentially a glazed croissant, and that's exactly what it tasted like. The outside had a nice crispness, the inside was flaky and buttery, and the glaze added just enough sweetness. It was enjoyable, but it also wasn't anything that really stood out or made me think, "I need to order this again." Overall, I'm glad I finally gave Randy's Donuts a try because it's such a well-known name, but I don't think it's a place I'll be returning to. The glazed donut was the standout, the dough on the raised donuts was genuinely good, but the flavors and overall experience just didn't live up to the reputation for me.

Now that I'm back in the area, I wanted to try this place out again and maybe my expectations were just too high compared to a different bagel place that I liked in another city. The parking lot is pretty small so you might have difficulty finding a good spot unless you come at an off time. When I got in, there was a long line and a group of people who were obviously regulars which I thought was a good sign. The menu was pretty easy to understand at first glance, you pick a croissant or a bagel and then what you want inside. The only down side is as of August 2026, they only have 1 kind of bagel, a plain bagel. I tried to order a bagel with no bacon and the woman taking my order seemed unfortunately confused by that? I was ordering a number of items and I just felt rushed because she would give me my total without asking if I wanted more. I kind of got the vibe that I was out of place and they forgot to give me one of my items. My bagel didn't have any flavor, the dough was overly gummy, and the eggs were barely scrambled so the yolk and whites were completely different textures. I felt like it was overly peppery and I had to add hot sauce to give it flavor. I probably won't come back here again except for maybe the sprinkled donuts, those were good!
