    Menu (August 2025)
    Anusha S.

Visited Mint Leaf on a Saturday around 7:30pm. We had a reservation, though the restaurant was not too busy then. I liked how there was a whole separate vegetarian menu! We weren't that hungry so we just ordered two appetizers: fried egg rolls and roti. Fried egg rolls (3/5): Very cool presentation! I liked how each egg roll came in a shot glass with carrot and cucumber slices. That said, the egg roll and the dipping sauce could have been more flavorful Roti (3.5/5): Also nicely presented! The roti was tasty but I wish the red curry was spicier and that there was more of it. Overall, the dishes at Mint Leaf are very instagrammable and the space feels like it would be a nice spot for a date night. I appreciated how vegetarian friendly the restaurant is. The food was presented well, but it could have been more flavorful and it's a little pricey for what you get. I am unsure if I would return, maybe would come back to try the Pad Se Ew

Great food, cozy ambiance, and excellent service! This spot serves authentic, hearty dishes right in the heart of Saratoga. My only critique is that the Green Curry was missing two ingredients I typically expect--bamboo shoots and lemongrass. That said, there were sufficient Japanese eggplant and basils and more than made up for it. Overall, a delicious and satisfying meal, and I'll definitely be back.

Beautiful ambience, friendly and accommodating service and very flavorful food! Their menu was a little oddly organized but overall they had a good variety of vegetarian, seafood and meat dishes. You could adjust spice levels on most dishes (they indicated where you couldn't) . They also have a separate menu for vegetarians which is great! Here is the breakdown of what we ordered and how it fared: Saratoga curry puffs - 6/10 Spicy basil noodles - 6/10 Pad thai - 9/10. This cane wrapped in an egg! It was the first time I had pad thai like this. The flavors were also great and it had heat to it from red chillis. Spicy peppercorn with basa - 10/10. This was an explosion of flavors and the vegetables in the stir fry were also delicious Penang curry with tofu - 9/10. The curry was very flavorful and the veggies were balanced. The prices were also quite reasonable and the food portions are shareable. We enjoyed the food and service here and will definitely return to try more items on the menu.

Haven't been back in a while since we last came back, brought bf to see if anything changed. The ambiance is rlly nice and comfortable and the servers were quick to service. We loved the roti and the yellow curry, the udon noodles were sweeter than I thought they were, and the steak was a bit stiff even tho I requested medium rare. It's more like fine dining so kinda pricey, and rice is not included with curry. Will only comeback if in town.

Thai is my absolute favorite. This place is extremely good. I had the spring rolls and vegetable entree. I'm impressed. Didn't even need chili tray! Best part? BYOB. Yup , buy your own wine or beer and you can serve yourself. Def will be back!

A great, cozy little spot with a fantastic ambiance and huge menu of unique and interesting dishes not served at most Thai restaurants. The Roti appetizer was simple but delicious with pan fried puff pastry triangles and a peanut sauce side. The Spicy Basil Fried Rice was excellent with a big scoop of tasty fried rice sprinkled througout with bits of red pepper, tender green beans, basil, and white chicken pieces. Crispy pieces of basil were also sprinkled around the top of the plate. Order it medium-hot, and ask for a side of red chile sauce to adjust the heat upward and add more flavor. My vegetarian friend had a great looking salad with fried tofu, a feta-like cheese, sundried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and I think walnuts.

This is one of the hidden gems in bay area. I have had the most amazing thai food ever in the US. We went as a family of 7 with two kids. The staffs were really kind and the service was good. It is a cute place that can fit large groups, it's kids friendly and they customise the spice level. They have a separate vegetarian menu as well. Here's our order : Saratoga Curry puffs - a unique starter in a thai restaurant and it was good. Roti - somes with a peanut sauce and lip smacking. Coconut milk soup - generous portion, shared by 6. The taste was top notch. Green curry and Thai panang curry - Absolutely delicious with lots of veggies and tofu. Spicy Thai basil fried rice - again, a tasty meal. Mango and sticky rice - the sticky rice was good, mango was not sweet. Overall, this is the best thai food I have had in the bay area. I would highly recommend this place as it's family friendly as well.

Very good food! We came wanting Thai food and checked Mint Leaf for the first time. They're very generous with the portions of the food which is nice, and the food itself is flavorful and yummy. We cleared all of the plates! The chairs are super comfortable as well, nice and personable staff here. Only thing is the rice is pretty sticky here which is not for my personable taste. Overall would come back here again, great first time experience.

    Pad See Ew

Located in downtown Saratoga, this restaurant serves upscale Thai food. Parking is a bit tricky as the restaurant is on the side of the street, but there is a lot fairly close by. The interior looked very traditional and gives off a high end vibe. I got the Pad See Ew with beef cubes ($22), and I really liked it! The meal was sweet with just the right amount of spice, and the portion was good enough for lunch. The beef and broccoli brought good texture to the meal and goes well with the soft noodles. I'll definitely come back sometime in the future to get their Pad Thai!

    Mango red curry

Love this Thai spot in downtown Saratoga, and I always get the mango red curry which I usually can't find at other Thai places. It is so good and the mango flavor is subtle but yummy. I love that they have a whole separate vegetarian menu with tons of options. The setting is super nice inside and service is good too:)

Mint Leaf is an absolute favorite of mine! Their decor is charming and the ambience is warm--it's a very embracing and rich environment to settle into. The staff are eager to please and work diligently to ensure the food is prepared to expectations. They make the best Pad Thai and their Fresh Spring Rolls are on par. Not all Thai food is created equal, so if you've never experienced this establishment before, you need to give it a try and can thank me later!

They were perfectly cooked, moist, and tasty. I'd 100% recommend. Then we got the surf and turf spring rolls! They were amazing! The poke rice cakes were amazing and the fried mushrooms were delicious. The sauce they were served on was a perfect dip. Lastly, we got a tofu spaghetti dish. I'm not sure what it was called! Drink: We ordered Pepper Garden booze free drink and it was better than the alcoholic drink we got. Food: ordered the Fun Guy battered mushrooms which were a great substitute for fries. The sauce it came with was missing something I couldnt put my finger on but i dipped those in the fish sauce and they were so good. Sugar Cane pork skewers were one of our favorites. Well seasoned pork, fish sauce, and pickled veggies. It was like a deconstructed spring roll you put together with lettuce boats. As You Wish chicken and ube sticky rice was our favorite dish. The glaze on the chicken went so well with the sticky rice. Butter Chicken was so flavorful and somehow light. Usually Butter Chicken is heavy but not here. Final Thoughts: 4.20/5.0…read more Asian fusion brunch spots seem hard to come by around the San Jose area. There's more within the larger Bay Area space that I never really go to. My sister and I decided to divert from our original plans today and just go on a brunch date elsewhere. This is also a spot that's been on my list for the longest time and I'm only now just getting to it. Relaxing Saturday brunch day. Thinking it will be a 4 stars for me for this experience. Food: Darla's Benedict: 4.0/5 This is the classic eggs benedict. It comes with two medium poached eggs on rustic Millstone bread. On top, it will include candied bacon, tomatoes, yuzu hollandaise sauce with the side of crispy kale. The poached egg was done nicely. You can see in the video that the yolk is super runny and cooked perfectly. The bread is quite thick and does have that crispy edge on the crust. Personally, I hate tomatoes. They do put a few thin slices on it, so it wasn't enough to fully affect the taste. I did give those pieces of tomatoes away to my sister though. The yuzu hollandaise sauce is very thick and umami. The yuzu is a little overpowering for me with the acidity, but overall, there is this nice freshness to it. The candied bacon is super crispy and I really like the saltiness and sweetness to it. For the vegetable component, they provide crispy kale. Personally, I would have preferred a side of fries/potatoes/hash, fresh fruit, or something more fresh even like a side salad. The kale is nice and crispy, but it's so oily and I feel that took away more from the dish than contributed. Loco Moco No.1: 4.0/5 This is their steak river farm wagyu beef patty, grilled asparagus, picked cherry peppers, a fried egg, pomegranate, rice, parmesan mushroom, and ginger gravy. The beef patty was super tender and juicy. I wish there were more of the gravy or even if the gravy were poured over the beef. I feel like it just soaks all of it in. The gravy was super thick and umami. The ginger is very light and virtually not there almost, so I didn't realize it was there. Not a concern for me as that flavor can be overpowering. Rice leans on the dryer side for me. Definitely a preference as I'm sure others would be fine with that. For the vegetable component, I would prefer an alternative. Perhaps a fresh vegetable or side salad would work better or more mushrooms for that umami, or even a pickled veggie for that crunch. The asparagus looks nice and leans more on fine dining, but it's not significant enough to give that light and freshness to it. The flavor of it works well though. Egg was nicely cooked and had a beautiful yolk color. --------- Quality: Made to order Food was freshly made and everything came out hot to order. The kale was super crispy and like it was just fried in that oil. The loco moco was also super juicy and piping hot like it was made to order. Our plates were all nicely completed and brought out quickly it seems. Price: $$$ Their prices do lean on the higher side for a brunch. Usual prices will be around $17 to $26 with a few outliers. The Loco Moco was one of the outliers pricing at $33 for a plate. This is likely related to the beef patty. I can't say I would pay $33 for that plate. Given the form of the meat patty, I really couldn't tell the cut of the beef. Perhaps it is Wagyu, but its difficult for me to tell. Very juicy overall though. Of note, the portion sizes are smaller. They are plated on larger plates and gives more fine dining vibes, so matches the pricing. Service: Nice experience For being outside, there was still enough waiters/waitresses working, so it was fairly simple to get someone's attention to help us. They were very nice and checked in on us, which is always a plus. Very simple process and good experience with them overall. Ambiance: Shaded Outdoors and Indoors We decided to sit outdoors today given their shaded area. This was one of the highlights for me. Initially, I preferred indoor given the weather, but my sister asked if it was a shaded outdoors. It is and that's what makes it. The air felt really nice. There are pockets of sun that peak through the trees and shade, but that wasn't really a concern. Would definitely go here on another brunch date. Location/Parking: Public Parking Available This location is within downtown Saratoga area. I will say that getting in a out of here isn't the most idea, especially on a weekend where everyone wasn't to go out and spend the most of their day off. This place does have a small public parking lot. We were lucky enough to find a spot here, but will say it does partially depend on luck here.
