You know a place is good when there's always a line! I had to stop by while I was in town and waited about 20 minutes to order, but it was absolutely worth it. My must-tries are: Spanish latte Garlic butter Egg pesto Sticky bun Seriously, you can't go wrong with any of them. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Came around 10am on a Sunday morning and only waited 15 minutes. Still quite popular months after opening but they're pretty fast. So many creative bagels and pastures to look at. All were soft and fluffy. + Black Sesame Cream Cheese bagel ($6.50): black sesame paste was spot on, but didn't love the flavors mixed with cream cheese. (6.8/10) + Everything with Smoked Gouda bagel ($6.75): our face, loved the cheese crust and was soft and savory (7.5/10) + Sour Cream Onion Cream cheese bagel ($6.75): loaded w cream cheese, green onion, and fried garlic. Extremely savory, wanted to pair this with something refreshing like a tomato (6.5/10)

So the line wasnt too bad. There was at least 8 people outside. They make you wait outside while 1 or 2 people look at the pastries to order. It gives the customer time to look at the options since they dont have the kind of pastries they have listed on the menu. It took me 12 minutes from lining up to getting my drinks and leaving. Sesame einspinner was amazing. It reminds me of the sesame soup but with cream on top. Matcha cloud was also good. Didnt taste like dirt. Would come back for sesame though. My favorite pastry would be the kouign awann. It was sweet and flakey. The top part looked like cheese but it kinda had a creme bruele taste. I got the garlic butter because i thought the pieces inbetween were butter but it was cream cheese. I wasnt a fan because i dont like cream cheese but im sure others would love it. I wanted the blue berry bagel but it was prestuffed with cream cheese. So as a cream cheese avoider there was less options to choose from. It felt like alot of their pastries come with cream cheese or cheese. So if you like more savory pastries or love cheese and cream cheese, this is the place for you. Pastries are also pretty pricey. I spend 40 something for 3 pastries and 2 drinks.

    Matcha, Sesame Bagel and Pecan?

One of my all time favorite bakeries. I've been here several times for their excellent matcha and unique bagels and other pastries. When they first opened, I lined up for around 45 minutes to order. They handed out umbrellas and the owner was always present to greet people and talk about the bakery. Just one indicator of the great service! They are incredibly attentive and welcoming at this bakery and the workers are great at giving recommendations and advice. In terms of the food, you really can't go wrong with any of the bagels. Every one I've tried has been excellent! The green onion has cream cheese with a green onion rim on a sesame bagel. The mango bagel is also tasty and not too sweet, the mango cream cheese is very fresh and light. The pecan bagel is one of my favorite sweet ones, super tasty with the nuts and sweet cream cheese. Their drinks are also an absolute highlight! The matcha is so high quality and they hand whisk it right in front of you. The tea flavor is super strong, not milky at all. They also have an amazing hojicha. Highly recommend this place! The wait is worth it and not too bad on weekdays or mornings. Great place to explore the rest of Pasadena as well.

Honestly one of the best bagels I've had. It was so soft and rich in flavor. My friend had the Mexican street corn one and he enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff is super nice and patient with you when you're unsure of what to get. The line gets super long but it moves pretty quickly. They're also constantly baking and restocking so you'd definitely be able to try everything. They're also usually stocked with so much stuff so you'd never miss out! I've also had their maple croissant and butter croissant on a separate occasion which was very delicious. Definitely worth it!

These Taiwanese bagels are worth the hype, be ready for a long line especially on weekends. The selection is huge and everything was delicious. The flavor, creativity, presentation, and texture were all amazing. The black sesame and Mexican street corn bagels were my favorite. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and the interior has some seating and is very clean.

Famous Taiwanese bagel spot, but my favorite item is their green onion croissant! They also have a variety of drink options including matcha, hojicha, and coffee.

Miopane is a Taiwanese bakery famous for their fresh bagels. I went early in the morning, but the line was long. They only allow few customers inside the shop. The estimate time of waiting is around twenty to thirty minutes. The store is small, but organized and clean. There is limited seating inside. Almost all the customers took their order to go except a few. To be efficient, I read the menu and I wrote my order in advance on my phone notes. Some of the bagels weren't available, I chose other types. For bagels, I couldn't resist ordering various assortment of their bagels to try! -Strawberry short cake - Mango cream cheese bagel - Roasted tomatoes and herba& cheddar - Sweet Milk Crumble - Matcha crumble - 2 Sour cream and onion cream cheese - Everything bagel with smoked gouda - Jalapeños bagel with cheese -2 Creamy mushrooms croissants - 3 Everything and egg breakfast croissants My goodness! The texture of bagels, the fluffiness, the freshness, the rich flavors, the creative filling or toppings are phenomenal! Everything was heavenly delicious and impressive. For drinks, we got strawberry Matcha latte. It was creamy, perfectly sweetened and refreshing drink. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The service was fast. Definitely, it's worth the hype. It is a great addition to Old Town Pasadena.

I'm usually skeptical of places that blow up all over social media, but Miopane deserves the attention. - Black sesame bagel: layered with black sesame paste and cream cheese inside. Slightly sweet, nutty, with a nice tang from the cream cheese. The bagel itself was soft and chewy, but not in that classic NYC-style way - it had its own softer texture that I really enjoyed. I do wish it had more black sesame filling. - Almond croissant: their version has a ton of chopped almonds on top, which gives it a great crunchy texture, though there's less almond paste in the middle compared to other ones (e.g., CAR) Despite being busy, service was efficient and the staff gave great recommendations. Parking in downtown Pasadena can be challenging, but going early helped.

Finally got to check this place out! Go here when you're not in a rush because you will definitely be waiting in line. On weekends expect at least a 30 min wait. It's a pretty small place but they did an amazing job at keeping up with the crowds and having all their best sellers throughout the day. Spoke with the team leader as well, Austin, you can tell he's very passionate about what he does and actually cares about the community thinks about his business and staff. The matcha here is amazing too, good quality and not just relying on the strawberry to carry it. If you've been interested in this spot i'd recommend checking it out.

My husband and I had been wanting to try Miopane for a while and we finally made it out on a Tuesday afternoon! For our first visit we got the blueberry croissant, matcha crumble, chocolate croissant, and the roasted tomato with herbs and cheddar bagel - and everything was pretty good for the most part since you can taste the quality and I loved all the flavors. My personal favorites were the blueberry croissant and the chocolate croissant. The blueberry croissant was delicious and not too sweet, which I appreciated, and the chocolate croissant had an amazing filling that literally left me wanting another one immediately. The girl who helped us was super sweet, especially knowing it was our first time there since that kind of service always makes a difference. The one thing I'll note is that it's on the pricier side since 4 pastries ran us about $31. But if you're okay with the splurge, the quality is there. We'll definitely be back!

I came back and found new items on their menu! Mexican street corn bagel is really delicious!!! Service was a lot quicker and attention to my order. Still radiant and clean ambiance feel aroma. The smell of fresh bread and coffee makes you want to devour more pastries

Stopped by during a weekday and wow... walked out feeling like my wallet took a hit. Only picked up two items and it definitely adds up quick here to treat ourselves to something special! Tried the tiramisu croissant, and it was deliciously dense! You can literally see all the crossiant layers with a giant chocolate and cream in the middle. It's as if almost like you're being charged per quality layer. It was super rich and decadent, to the point where I had to save it for another meal! Also got the matcha crumble bagel. The bagel itself had a nice chewy texture, pretty solid, and the matcha filling also leaned a bit thick and chalky, and on a sweet side. They've got a ton of interesting and exotic bagel options, which is fun to see, and I ended up sticking with something more familiar anyway. I'll probably come back if I'm in the area to show a friend for something different, and I'm glad I tried it!

Their pastries are legitimate Paris-level quality. The one that looks like a pain au raisin (but isn't) is incredible--those glazed, crunchy parts are what's up! I came here to get some work done on my laptop, and the vibe was perfect. People actually rotate out instead of camping at tables all day, so indoor and outdoor seating opens up organically. I guess this is the spot for coffee and pastries in Pasadena. It was a cute shop with a millennial-friendly aesthetic. Brick walls, exposed ceiling, and lots of hanging lights. Case full of beautiful pastries, house chocolates and merchandise for sale. The line moved quickly enough, and service was friendly and reasonably fast. A table opened up for us when we needed it, and we sat and enjoyed our coffee and pastry. I got a salted honey latte, which was delicious. I'm not a habitual coffee drinker, and this felt like a special indulgent little treat. I'm not a pastry person either, but the kougin amann was fantastic, rich and buttery and shatteringly crispy. I also got a chocolate croissant to go for my husband, who said it was really good. We sat for maybe half an hour, and when we left, someone was there to take our spot, and we had to squeeze past the line that was coming through the door. I don't like coffee and sweets enough to do all that on a regular basis, but I enjoyed my visit to Artisanal Goods and would recommend it if you want top notch pastries in Pasadena.

First, the good: the cinnamon roll was moist and fluffy all the way through. No dry cinnamon rolls here! The service was also very friendly. The not so good: my first bite, which somehow managed to not have much icing, gave me a clear taste of the dough. It reminded me a lot of canned biscuit dough. I prefer a thicker icing, this one was quite runny and very sweet without any nuance to the flavor. Also, I really wanted to try the peach cobbler cupcakes but they didn't have any cupcakes in stock at all, only a few cake slices. We went around noon, and I hoped they would have plenty of options around that time :/ Unfortunately I've had much better cinnamon rolls elsewhere in LA. It's still tasty because, well, it's a cinnamon roll... but not sure I'll be back unless it's to try the cake or cupcakes.
