Finally, after hearing about Mioposto from some friends, we dropped by for the happy hour and really enjoyed it. The happy hour is in the sweet spot between lunch and the dinner service (I can't remember exact times) when there's a lull. What's great about a lull? There's plenty of bar and table seating available, they have a great menu of options. They have a lunch special of small pizza + salad + $5 glass of wine. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with the large pizza oven radiating warmth throughout the restrurant. We ordered a few cocktails and a couple pizzas, salad and they have mussels or clams roasted in the pizza oven where we got the mussles. I really like this place especially if you can time it because Mioposto is pretty popular and the neighborhood crowd can just pack this place during the choice times at lunch and dinner. I have another favorite pizza place in Admiral and this is a close runner up and way more cozy and great place for taking a date. read more

I like their happy hour! The personal pizzas are a good way to try a few different pizzas for a reasonable price. They had the typical pizzas and some more unique ones. Their pizza is thin and they are pretty generous with the toppings as well. My favorite pizza was the prosciutto e arugula. I was very satisfied with the amount of prosciutto they put on the pizza - most places tend to skip out on putting a lot. We also got the spring lamb which made us all feel like we were eating a gyro but on a pizza. We also got a caesar salad to share, which was perfectly flavored and had a nice crunch to it. It was light and perfect to balance with the pizza we were eating. The servers were very kind to us. The pizza took some time to come out, but I did not really mind the wait. We got the burrata to start and it was amazing with the bread and a tiny hint of spice. We split the prosciutto and arugula, lamb, and balsamic pizzas. All of them were good but the prosciutto was my favorite. The pizzas are all 12" and serve 1-2 people. We were swayed into getting dessert, so we had to get the apple crostata. Delectable. We came back on Sat night around 7 pm. Only street parking is available. We didn't have any reservation but there was available seats at bar area. There are many families and couples inside the store, so it's quite noisy like last time. We came to eat pizza, so this time we chose half and half and chose Spring Lamb and Quattro Oil. When ordering half and half pizza, the price is $28, so I recommend checking the price of the pizza to combine. Because the pizza we ordered was $4 higher. We like spring Lamb pizza, but we don't recommend Quattro oil. It's better to choose tomato sauce over oil. We'll try something other than pizza next time. read more

The place is cute and there's plenty of street parking if you park at the streets behind the restaurant. The food came out a little slower than we'd hoped. The pizzas were amazing! They're very thin so if that's not your style, you might not enjoy it, but I loved it. And compared to other pizzas, it was less greasy (not to say it wasn't though). Love the pizza sauce as well. I wouldn't say I loved the appetizers as much. The clams were a little too fishy for me to love and one of them had shell or sand in it. The calamari (I thought would be fried, it's not) was in the most delicious briny tomato sauce but was also a little fishy and slightly undercooked. read more

My husband and I had dinner at Mioposto a couple of weeks ago and, while we were there, we made a reservation in person for Sunday, March 29 for a party of eight. We were told they don't normally take weekend reservations, but the hostess made an exception for us due to our group size and earlier dining time. She even involved a manager and entered the reservation on an iPad in front of us, confirming all the details. On the day of our reservation, I called to confirm. The person I spoke with reiterated that they don't take weekend reservations and had no note in their system of our reservation. She continuously repeated herself they don't take reservations. At the end of the conversation she ended up assuring me they would still accommodate our party as previously arranged. However, when we arrived at the agreed time, the hostess had no record of our reservation and no awareness of ANY accommodation. Despite explaining the situation and the multiple confirmations we received (both in person and over the phone), we were told we would need to wait 45 minutes. This was incredibly frustrating and disappointing, especially given the effort we made to plan ahead and confirm. It felt like there was a complete breakdown in communication between staff, and unfortunately, we were left dealing with the consequences. We will not be back. read more

What a neighborhood restaurant should be like! The latest time we came was a busy night - Friday, end of restaurant week, end of happy hour. They still managed to fit us in - splitting a six person table into two two people tables with seats between us. The atmosphere was bustling and lively but very much in control - our server seemed to be watching everyone in his section to see when their drink was empty or their menu was down. The food was very good. We had the burrata with spring pea pesto - I will say the burrata was delicious but the pita bread that came with it was absolutely amazing. I then had a Caesar salad that was flavored well and deliciously crunchy and zesty. We shared a mushroom pizza which was cheesy and substantive with a nice crispy but chewy crust. The house wine was reasonably priced and tasty and we enjoyed dinner at a good pace without ever feeling like it was either dragging or rushed. Would recommend! read more

I was recently in town visiting friends and family and we stopped in for dinner. First of all I don't do many reviews but I felt compelled to write this one as our group unanimously felt this was the best pizza we had in years! Our server, who introduced herself as Keely was very knowledgeable on the menu and she helped us pair our Pepperoni Puntura and Margherita Pizzas with the perfect wine. I especially appreciated that because I rarely drink wine. Although it was busy, she was very attentive to the needs of our table. Went for a stroll and decided to try their happy hour (3p-6p). We kept it simple and just ordered 2 personal sized pizzas to share (Pepperoni and Margherita). We were greeted warmly and seated quickly at the bar. They have a great wine and spirits list but we just opted for water this evening - and they did not pressure us to order more/upcharge. A solid option for pizza in Seattle. We came here late on a Thursday night after a work trip and were able to get seated at the bar right away. The drink menu was fun and there were lots of interesting options for pizza it was almost hard to choose. Looking for happy hour to chase our sorrow from a Kraken loss. This place was great. Go early for happy hour. Gets busy fast. Order the Pinocchio without olives. For 12 bucks, it's not bad. My complaint is crust not great and toppings slide off. Unfortunately it also failed next day test which is reheating and eat. The best thing for me was the beet salad. So excellent. Hands down my favorite pizza place in the Seattle /King County area if not in the entire state! I've been here at least 5 times either just with my bf or with friends. I've tried a bunch of other pizza places but this is the only one I want to go back to over and over again. My favorite is the Zucca Balsamica - it has butternut squash, caramelized onions, goat cheese, and balsamic reduction along other things. If you want something that's a little sweet and a little salty, this is for you. My bf loves the Pinocchio pizza coz he loves pepperoni and olives. I'm not a big pepperoni person but I love this pizza! We also love the Spring lamb pizza. I don't know why some people don't like lamb, but we do! The goat cheese with the red pepper is just a good flavor dance in your mouth. Lastly, their Caesar salad - my favorite! This is a great upscale pizza restaurant. They have several in the Seattle area. This one has a small patio in front and huge windows (formerly a loading door, maybe?) that fully open when it's nice out. It's a bit expensive for it to be a regular stop for me, but I always enjoy myself when I do come here. Food is well made and the staff are nice. Pizza is definitely the star of the show here although they do have some other options along with a fairly big appetizers section. They have a late afternoon happy hour which in my opinion can be a good deal for drinks but a meh deal for food (for example, it's never economical to buy a smaller diameter pizza...nor does it satisfy my appetite!). I usually get the meatballs and a Pinocchio pizza. They do now offer dairy free cheese and several other allergy accomodations. read more

This is the worst gluten free pizza I have ever had. Not only was the outside of the pizza incredibly burnt, but the pizza it's self tasted like warm plastic cardboard. I give their gluten free pizza 0 stars. The review gets three stars because their other pizzas are very good (I had them back when I could have gluten) and the salads and olives are good. But I spent nearly $30 on a pizza with a $6 up charge for gluten-free. In a world where gluten free pizza crust have been figured out and taste really good from other places (and even from the freezer section)... I really wish mioposto would care about making a better product for their celiac and gluten-free customers. Please try a little harder. read more
