The food is mediocre. However, my complaint is that I had a large order made from the caviar app to go and the manager at this location offered the worst customer service when I asked for a bag he said per policy we do not give bags to caviar customers. I honestly don't think this guy has common sense or know anything about grey areas of company policies. At least he could of offered assistance with carrying some of my order back to my car but didn't. So I'm never ordering from this location again! read more

Our favorite pizza place in Seattle. Also convenient: you can now order online here for pickup or delivery. It's good as a sit down restaurant too, but we don't usually do that unless we want cocktails instead of a bottle of wine at home. The cocktails are really good. They have barrel-aged cocktails, which are tasty and unique. Can sometimes be hard to order these, because they have limited availability. I've been there once when I wasn't able to order one. The pizza is extremely good. Thin crust, but not too dense. Our favorites are: -Con Le Patate: get this with prosciutto to make it better than it already is -Zucca Balsamica: very interesting flavors, I love the butternut squash -Pinocchio: classic tomato sauce/cheese/meat pizza Definitely our go-to pizza spot. Recently, we almost always do takeout with a bottle of red wine at home to save on price. read more

Terrible experience. I ordered for pickup, thinking Saturday night might be too crowded for us tonight. Wow, mistake. I placed the order for a 6:45 pickup tonight and got there early, probably 25 minutes early, so I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered a glass of wine while I waited. Was waiting for lasagna with salad and melanzana plate-- not a huge order. There were two other groups at the bar waiting for food. Apparently, both of these other groups had some kind of problem with their orders and were waiting. Both were offered some kind of freebie because of the delay. Bad sign, I guess. I was sitting right next to the pass, so when I saw what I thought was my order, I paid for the wine and waited. The bartender said my order would be up shortly. Meanwhile, the order that I thought might have been mine was shoved into a shelf below the pass and abandoned. A little time passed and the bartender told me that my order should be next. Ooookay. A little more time passed and someone came by and asked what name my order was under. I told her, and she grabbed my order from the shelf under the pass and bagged it. I knew it wasn't her fault and asked, "...But that's been sitting there for 10 or 15 minutes...?" She said, "Yes, that's why I asked." Oh, okay, sure. I was hungry and my husband was waiting, so I just took the bag and left. Got home. The food was cold. Okay. I put the lasagna in the oven for a while and we had some salad and eggplant. Adequate, if soggy. Finally the lasagna was warm. Took a bite... and it had fucking meat in it. No indication on the menu that there would be meat and I didn't order it-- I haven't eaten meat since 1987. So, into the garbage with that. I'm too grossed out to eat, and my husband is eating frozen samosas for dinner. read more

Mioposto Ravenna has had what appears to be problems with sufficient competent labor in my last 3 orders with them. The workers are completely frazzled and disorganized when it is at all busy. For the second time in a row, yesterday, my order was 30 minutes late for pickup. They did not get the order correct by omitting something for which I paid. It has really been unpleasant dealing with this place for the last couple of months. My recommendation: go only at ti es that are unlikely to be crowded, and have tempered expectations. read more

A lot higher quality than what you pay for. Flavorful food and a fine dining feel. We've been here more times than we can count. Great spot for a date night as they have a solid wine selection and the wait staff has never disappointed us with their wine pairing recommendations. The small plates have all been excellent so far and the wood fired pizzas are also gourmet. We typically order a small plate and two small pizzas to share which ends up being more than enough for two people. It's a small restaurant so, while they can accommodate larger parties, plan ahead or be prepared to wait. It gets incredibly hot in the summer time but great in the winter. read more

"You should be aware..." that the customer is not always right. Last night I ordered takeout from the Bryant location. I'm a loyal customer from the Mt. Baker neighborhood and recently moved to the north end. I'm choosing to write this review because I think this is a Mioposto-thing, and as a regular, I'm tired of it! I placed an order for nearly $50 worth of takeout. I told them I would be by to pick up my order at 7:15pm and the lady on the phone was really pleasant, took my order, everything's good. When I arrived (precisely on-time, I might add), my order was not ready and I waited nearly 20 minutes. I do understand that the pizzas are infinitely better if you do not wait to eat them - the quicker they get from the oven to your mouth, the better. I wasn't even particularly upset by the wait. What got me, is that after waiting patiently, tipping 10% on a takeout order, and saying NOTHING to them, the waitress said to me "oh, you should be aware that we typically don't take orders 2 hours in advance". Excuse me?! I have been lectured more times by the staff at Mioposto than anywhere ever as a customer and it is the only thing that would get me to stop coming here! The food is excellent, the drink selections are great, love the atmosphere...the lectures have to stop. At the Mt. Baker location I've had waitstaff instruct me on "how things go here" - I've been coming longer than you've been working there and you've never been able to decide: do we order at the counter or do you have table service? I am dismayed that this same crappy attitude persists at the new location. How about instead of lecturing your customers, YOU figure out what you're doing. Be nice. Have fun. Ah, happy hour! The few hours of the week, on Friday, that I look forward to most! It signifies the end of a hard and grueling week. It makes Friday just that much more enjoyable because I know at the end of the day a cold drink and delicious food await me. I recently moved from the U-District to the Sandpoint area of Seattle. This new move takes me directly by Mioposto as I drive home. From the first time I laid eyes on this place I knew I had to try it out! I am a pizza fanatic and the ambiance seemed inviting, fun, and relaxing. Well, today I decided it was finally time to try out the happy hour at Mioposto. I believe we had one of the rudest and least helpful servers in the history of food service. To be fair, the pizza chefs seemed great and the rest of the wait staff seemed fast and respectful. Our server on the other hand; wow. Due to our experience with this one server we will not be coming back. To start, we walked in and were the second table to be seated. The other table only had two people. We sat down and upon him bringing us menus I felt he immediately judged us or wrote us off as people he did not want to help. Anyways, we place our drink orders. Super simple; a happy hour house wine and a draft Manny's. The server leaves as we contemplate the pizza options. Maybe one other table is seated. We wait for the drinks. And we wait some more. A few more tables are seated and more servers are beginning to work with other tables. He comes to our table five minutes after our drink order to take our food order. I ask if the drinks are coming and he informs us that the bartender needs to make them. Ummmm, okay. We place food order and we wait another five minutes for the drinks to finally come. He ended up pouring them, which was confusing because the bartender never did. Food comes out and it was delicious! He didn't check in once with us to see how our meal was. The next time we saw him he handed us a check. What bothered us the most was the fact that other tables, and tables who were seated after us were given drinks WAY before we were. The server never checked in with us to see if the pizza was good or that we were doing okay. He did not give off a friendly vibe at all and was very unpleasant to have as a server. read more

Late night happy hour: 9:00-close $4 Manny's $6 personal size pepperoni, cheese, or marghereta pizza $4 or $5 (can't remember) house white or red wine $8ish martini or bourbon drink (old fashioned or maybe it was a manhattan?) Nice calm, dark atmosphere. Good service. We also ordered meatballs for about $12-$13. They were ok, but not life altering. Such a great little Italian place in the backside of the University district. The ambience is quaint and intimate, and allows for fun bar seating in front of the wood-fired oven or just normal floor seating. The beet salad, although it sounds plain, was delicious and I scarfed it down. All of the dishes are slightly unique from conventional Italian - I specifically recommend the Spring Lamb pizza. And why not indulge in the chocolate cake for dessert?? read more

I am freaking obsessed with their zucca balsamica (however you spell it), probably the best fancy pizza I have ever had. Only downside is there's no where to wait inside and I usually have to wait a long time even with reservations during popular hours, so I feel bad being in people's ways but during the winter I really don't want to stand outside, it's too cold for me!! read more

Finally, an alternative to BurgerMaster or the Wedgwood Broiler for breakfast! The mochas we ordered were the perfect temperature and sweetened to perfection. I ordered "The Baker" which was simply heavenly. Italian sausage with 2 fried eggs mixed with a tasty sauce and melted provolone. The food tastes as if the chef really did care about taste...with a European sensibility and atmosphere. I usually don't stray from French toast and scrambled eggs, but eating breakfast here was delightful and quite good. read more

YUMM pizza on a rainy day. This place is a bit small, so if you come during prime time, you might have to wait a bit. Parking nearby was easy to find. For ordering we shared a pinnochio pizza, egg and pancetta pizza, and the potato one. The pinnochio is a safe and "normal" option, basic meat pizza that was good. However my star of the night was the egg pizza. It was just so creamy and delicious and unique, that made the experience overall really fun. I wanted to try some pizza that wasnt your average kind, and mioposto definately hit that spot. I will come back to get more eggy pizza, and possibly try the clam one too! The rating for this business would easily be higher than this. It should be. It may be yet. I went today, on opening day (there's expected to be hiccups). The staff were great and helpful. I started with a plate of olives and a couple glasses of wine before things got packed, it was opening day after all. I followed it up with the salumi plate and some fresh bread. The meat selection was great and fresh cut. I followed it up with a cocktail, the Godfather (scotch and amaretto), and a order of the apple crestada for dessert. The cocktail was great as expected from my bartender, Sasha, who'd been great throughout the whole evening (I was in attendance a few hours). However, it was about a half hour after ordering that I was informed they were out of the ingredients needed for the crestada. Whatever, it happens, especially on opening day. I would have liked to have known sooner though. I had been relaxed, taking my time though. No need to place all the blame on people that had plenty else on their mind today. I decided to just get a cappuccino then instead of another dessert. For coffee, they appeared to source from Cafe Vita, which I'm fine with when concerning their espresso. However, as nice and capable a bartender as Sasha was, she was not a barista. Protip to any business owner looking to open an establishment that serves coffee: hire a barista. Seattle is lousy with them, and I happened to be one. I can adjust expectations, but the milk was barely room temperature and the shot was rather off in timing. The service prevailed here and Sasha was apologetic, offering to remake it then or in the future, but I was ready to leave after the dessert debacle and a drink of such a disappointing cappuccino. Aside from the let down at the latter half of the meal though, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I'm really hoping to stop in again and catch them on a better evening. This restaurant is a great find in the neighborhood near University Village. The food is great and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Love to come for the happy hour, where you can actually get a complete meal for around $14. Well they have a great lasagna, my only wish would be that they would have some pasta on the menu as well. I was very exicted to hear that Mioposto was opening in our neighborhood. I have enjoyed the Mt. Baker location many times, and I'm glad to see them expanding. They did a great job with the decor and they add a unique menu to an already ecletic neighborhood. A lot of great appetizers, drinks, and entre options. Dessert was great. Very warm atmoshere, and although they are new, the service gave a great effort and was good. This is a place I would be proud to take guests. I get frustrated seeing lower reviews on yelp because someone shows up during a very busy time during the opening weeks of a restaurant. I don't think this is a reflection of the restaurant as a whole, but one individual experience with unfortunate timing. One other great thing about Mioposto---the previous tenant had sponsored my daughter's softball team. We were concerned that we lost our sponor when they closed their doors, but Mioposto stepped up and took over the sponsorship. This all happend long before they even opened. Came for dinner on a Thursday night. Happy hour from 3-6. (House wines and beers also $6 pizzas) I ordered at 6:03pm and the waitress still let me have the happy hour price. A good way to start off the meal. The whole place has nice dim lighting and smells like dough and the wood fire oven. All ingredients are locally sourced. Had the lamb sausage pizza which was excellent. The sausage was crushed up with this mint and goat cheese and these roasted red peppers, oh my god it was amazing. Then we had a Cesar salad. Which was also bomb.com cause they used the nice dark green lettuce not that weird white stuff. And we also had the meat balls app. Superb. The balls were nice and moist. Finally for desert had the apple pastry thing, freaking delish, it was made with pizza dough! Love this place and it's not too expensive. Would Go back! read more

Knowing they are new and possible still doing some fine tuning, I did not find the food, service or atmosphere someplace I would return to or recommend any time soon. The nose level is almost painfully, and the restaurant only had about 25 people in it. The chickpea appetizer was very good, the Caesar salad was a joke, some chopped lettuce and a dressing that was just oil and vinegar. The pizza was under cooked, raw in the edges and middle. Went here for happy hour with some coworkers. The happy hour is not on the menu and only verbal. Ended up getting the eggplant Parmesan (not on the happy hour menu) and it was delicious. Hope this place is a neighborhood fixture for years to come - they definitely have the potential for many 4 and 5 star reviews. Our family of four have visited twice now: once for dinner and once for breakfast. Food was tasty, ingredients were fresh, and service was acceptable. As with previous reviewers, the issues here have to do more with the overall experience than with the food. There isn't really a waiting area, you have to walk through food service to get to the bathroom, it's a little loud. For the "neighborhood yuppies with kids in tow" demographic, this could become a monthly destination. Picky children can find plenty to eat on this menu yet there are interesting offerings for more sophisticated palettes. Updating my previous review from four to five stars. This place has been a savior during COVID. Tasty sauces, perfectly wood-fired crusts made with oh-so-tender 00 flour. The crust is crisp, chewy, and melt in your mouth all at the same time. The topping are fresh and well-seasoned. Having this pizza as take-out isn't quite as good as in-store -- this style of pizza is best fresh out of the oven and piping hot and crisp. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't still adoring this pizza a little too often. The Pinocchio minus olives is my go-to. I love this neighborhood restaurant. It has a cozy welcoming feel with its big windows for the daytime, and candlelit ambiance in the evenings. I was sad to see the previous restaurant go, but am delighted that such an amazing new restaurant took its place. I had dinner there for Pi Day, sadly they didn't have any pizza pie promos in its honor! But, I ended up ordering the eggplant parmesan anyway. It came with a side salad (I chose the arugula - yum!) and a piece of bread to soak up the red sauce. I was kind of hoping for the hearty breaded eggplant parm, but was happy with the healthier recipe leaving out the breading. My friend had the $6.50 happy hour pepperoni pizza and was happy with it. To top off the meal I had the Olympic Mountain Ice Cream in the mint chocolate fudge flavor - perfection! read more

The nephew and nieces took us to their favorite spot in their neighborhood. It is a cute restaurant near their favorite park in Mount Baker. They told us they go every other week with their dad and order the same thing every time- the baker and pastries. So we ordered The Baker and couple doughnuts for them. They were happy. The niece explained that the egg yolk in The Baker sometimes oozes out and she loves it when it does that. Unfortunately, it did not ooze out this time around but she didn't mind. She devoured those eggs like it was no big deal. I have to admit, The Baker is very delicious. It comes with a fresh baked bread to dip. A perfect brunch dish. I ordered a panini and it was excellent. The lady at the cashier was very smiley. She knew I wasn't a local so she was patient with us. They explained the concept and informed us how to grab our water and glasses. I will come back. read more

Top notch ingredients, the pepperoni is especially good. The problems are with the crust. Which is excellent on the edges but deteriorate the closer you get to the center. And since they never seem to cut it completely, you're forced to to do that yourself. Good luck with that, it's just too thin and your lucky to finish with something that resembles a slice. A real head-scratcher that a place that cares enough to buy the best ingredients can't seem to put it all together. Flavors are great, but the final product falls short. read more

Came to Mioposto on a Friday night, sat at the bar and began a great meal. The bread is absolutely amazing. No other word to describe it. So good. I ordered the margerita pizza, which was pretty good. A bit flimsy and soggy for my liking, but good. Then, I ordered the apple crostata a la mode. Holy cow. So good!!!
