1) OVER VIEW:
MIRANDA'S PUPUSERIA is one of about a dozen of food vendors located at the Jamaica Market Food Court in Queens, New York. The Jamaica Market Food Court on the Jamaica Avenue is very conveniently located right by the Jamaica Center Parsons/Archer subway station (E, J, Z lines). As it booth's big sign so proudly states it is intended to serve "Authentic Salvadoran Food".
This review of the restaurant & their food is strictly based on my dining the Beef Soup with Tortilla. $8.71 ($8 plus $0.71 tax) at MIRANDA'S PUPUSERIA on June 22, 2018.
(2) FOODS:
I chose the Beef Soup with Tortilla from its menu, simply because the people eating this dish recommended me at the next table, when I was enjoying the awesome foods from the very popular NEW SARKURA JAPAN (I highly recommend it), which is located next to this establishment in the Jamaica Market Food Course.
The soup/broth was physically thin with surprisingly very thin almost tasteless flavors, for unknown reasons. I was deeply puzzled and concerned about the quality of this dish. The three nice pieces of cube-shaped beef was well-cooked BUT they also lacked the flavors of the real beef. I wonder if they even cook it properly for bring out its optimum flavors? Did the chef skipped many classes at his cooking school? Did the chef even went to any government-recognized official credit-earning culinary school(s)? These were what I thought when I had this meal. More specifically speaking, this chef improperly skipped pan-frying these beef cubes for bringing out its optimum flavors BEFORE he dumping them in the boiling giant size hot soup pot. Due to its size, texture, and flavors, the giant corn piece tasted as the main star of this dish sadly, in my humble and honest personal opinion.
I understand the sales point (sale pitch) of this Latin American nation is authentically serving their homeland's popular dishes. Nevertheless,"authentic" does NOT guarantees "delicious" when the food is introduced to a completely different nation or a completely different dieting culture. People have been enjoying very affordable yet powerfully flavorful foods every day here in the United States of America.
NOTE 1: Remember the famous Japanese cooking battle TV series. One of the most decorated and celebrated Japanese sushi chef with the Michelin Star lost the sushi battle to the a Spanish sushi chef; the local Spanish Judges enjoyed the "coffee-flavored sushi" than the traditional Edomae-sushi. LOL)
NOTE 2: Remember how Japanese sushi changed and evolved once it came to this country. The Edomaezushi (traditional Tokyo style hand-folded sushi) is no longer the #1 today here. The Makizushi (traditional rolled sushi, which is only second popular in Japan) and the newly created tons of American style rolled sushi variety became the most popular style of sushi enjoyed by the people here.
(3) SERVICES:
This dish was very quickly assembled and served to me. Nothing more and nothing less.
(4) VALUE:
For me, the major value of this establishment, MIRANDA'S PUPUSERIA is the fact, which it served (or at least tried hard serving) the "Authentic Salvadoran Food". For their home-loving heart and significant efforts for making them survive at this highly competitive food court, I gave this establishment 3 out of 5 stars here.

PS: Yelp office, possibly due to its computer error, placed my review for this Salvadoran restaurant under the Chinese restaurant's page. I contacted the yelp but this mess was not fixed yet so far. So, today, I created a new page and posted my reviews and photos of it here now from a scratch.
PPS: This Salvadoran restaurant has currently only one working business page in the fecebook. Its original home page seems down for now. If in case the following are also down, then, just call them via their phone (917.595.8247).
