I was going through the list of restaurants around my area and decided to try this one out. When i entered the restaurant the server came out from the back and kindly explained what they have and how they can also make things that are not on the menu. I ordered korma with lamb and I waited about 20 minutes which I thought was a pretty long wait cuz I was the only customer there, but when I tried it it was definitely worth it! Unlike other places that are stingy with meat, this place gave me three huge chunks of meat soaked in korma sauce and I absolutely loved it! I got a take out so maybe thats why i didnt fet any naan but i wish i tried their naan.. Korma lamb was about &8-9 with tax. Key points: - there's no physical pper menu, just the menu on the wall but it has no prices written so I guess that can be a little inconvenient to some people. - when u order a dish, doesnt come with naan or rice - flavor is amazing and pretty good portion! read more

I wouldn't recommend coming here.No napkins or spoons in the bag (not a big deal) I ordered the Tikka Masala which had way too much oil sitting at the top of the container.Aside from that, it had the consistency of an underblended salsa.It did smell good though.I ordered samosas thinking I'd get bigger ones such as the ones posted on the wall/their menu.I ended up getting about 8 tiny ones that seemed like they came from the frozen food section at Stater Brothers.The naann was at least good. read more

When I walked in I was immediately and kinda rudely told they were only doing take outs. Okay. Well I ordered from their picture wall and got Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Lamb Karahi. After about 20 minutes I got my food. At home my table got covered by the oil of everything. I usually like kinda oily foods but this was a bit much. The Korma was my favorite and the Tikka Masala my least. I've never been to a Pakistani place before but it is quite different than other Indian places I've been like Curry and Kebab in Moreno Valley. It doesn't taste like the same kind of dish even though they have the same names. Probably will give them one more try but the service kinda puts you in a upset mood. read more

Mirchi is a takeout or mainly a catering outfit, do not bring the family here . I did a takeout and was awesome. They need a 30 minute minimum advanced call before the order is ready. The food here is absolutely delicious; this is desi food, not for American people, but for masala-loving people. The blend of spices is perfect; the naan here is fluffy, warm, and simple but very satisfying; the keema here is packed with flavor, and delicious, but doesn't outdo the rest of the food, blending all the tastes very well together. The biryani is excellent as well. The only thing I'm not too pleased about, is the rate of service. I can't believe this restaurants yelp reviews rating is high it was at one point 5 stars , but I know it's not even 1 star from what I have experienced . I should have taken some pics of the food they gave me . I ordered the breakfast special for 5 bucks togo,when i got home i found out that I got one scrambled egg with extra extra oil , I couldnt believe my eyes it had more oil than egg . it also came with side of potatoes it was also oily and it seemed like the cook just seasoned it with pepper and masala no salt , so I skipped that pile of shit and tried the even more greasy parantha that had no salt either just a taste of bread and oil ... I will just call the health department to review their restaurant because it seems like they are careless and ignorant when it comes to cooking and serving food . I could have got better quality food going to jack in the box next door . this was my first and last experience here . you've been warned , try at your own risk. I had to dump my food out it was not even edible to begin with . this a place that you would most likely get food poisoning. Wow. I usually don't write reviews but just wow. Entry: Atmosphere is very different. Tables are awkwardly set up. Nobody was at the front to direct me to a table or take my order. I had to wait 5min before a waiter came from outside the restaurant. Food: There was hair in my rice. Chicken was not fully cooked. Seasoning was okay. Chicken bones are everywhere in the karahi. This place is usually excellent but a bit of a wait during lunch Monday through Friday. I try to get lunch here today, a Sunday and they told me my order will take 40 minutes. That's ridiculous! They offered me a Sunday brunch, but it didn't have any of the items that I wanted and I was trying to get a to-go order. Delicious but as we kept eating them, discovered the middle was totally raw meat. Next, the Dal Gohst is was flavorful, but filled with oil. The goat meat was mostly 3 huge bones with big chunks of fat. The chicken karahi was so oily that it was not edible. The chicken biriyani was bland and flavorless and also greasy. We found this wonderful restaurant while we were looking for another... What a find!! The service isn't slow as some say - it depends on what you order. Mr. Ali, the owner, is usually in the restaurant seating area; there are at least 2 women in the kitchen cooking, and there are often a couple of young men helping. Everyone is so friendly! They make everything from scratch, so it might take time for some items. If you are in a hurry, ask what is ready or takes little time. Specials are written on a chalkboard near the door to the kitchen. If you have time, try what is made fresh just for you. I ordered Tandoori chicken which was served after about an hour and a half, but we chatted with Mr. Ali and read our books which we bring everywhere we go. You can always order some naan to nibble (the garlic naan is scrumptious!) while you wait for your order. Everything is a la carte so make sure you order rice or ask what vegetables they have available. I was surprised when my Tandoori chicken turned out to be an entire chicken! It was outrageously good, and I took lots home. My husband had a plentiful bowl of very spicy & delicious beef soup & sesame naan. This is a great restaurant and reasonably priced. read more

Genuine service. Good home made tasting food. Walked it when it was pretty much closed and yet still got service with not once mentioning that they were closing. It is the best Pakistani/Indian restaurant east of LA. We have tried several in LA, OC, Riverside and San Bernardino counties but this comes out the best in Inland Empire. They have authentic south Asian dishes and tandoori bread to boot. Nihari, Kabab, Karhai chicken we have tried them all and liked. The owner is great and the service is fine. We have already gone there twice in two weeks for dinner and would do it again and again. read more
