So take a look at the picture and decide if this amount of food is worth $24? One dish is a beef dish with 2 pieces of meat in it and the other is a dish made with chickpeas. Oh and there is also some bread. The place is in a abandoned looking strip mall next to the highway. The place itself is very modest so rent should not be that high. Then the actual amount of food. Chickpeas is less than $2 for a big can, bread is super cheap and 2 pieces of meat is what it is. Don't get me wrong, I love supporting small businesses but the value has to be there. Instead of being a repeat customer, visiting a few times a week, they got my money as a one-time customer and done. Oh I did ask the person working there, "is this all of it" when he handed me the food to which he replied "yes, that's a lot of food". I just took the bag and left but thought "a lot of food" to who exactly? Ants or small children?

Delicious Food! Great Service! And Outstanding People! I highly recommend this place for whoever's looking for some authentic Pakistani-Afghani Food.

I ordered veggie biryani from them for the first time. I never had such a bad experience eating biryani. i mean i had to throw away basically everything after trying few spoons of it. I felt that the veggies were not cooked and were big chunks of them. It tasted really odd. I wasn't even sure if it really was veggie biryani or some meat biryani or if they just took meat out of some meat biryani. Never gonna try this place again.

I was recommended to this place by one of my friend and i am so glad i went wth her suggestion and got food from here. I cant say enough good things about this restaurant and the food. We ordered for one of the wedding events this past Saturday and the food was exceptionally good. Chicken Biryaani, Beef Karhai, Chicken Tikka and Palak Alloo (complementary Naan, Salad and Chutney). Every single item was made to perfection and tasted amazing. Everyone was asking about the food and we had some left over which we enjoyed for a full week and still not tired of it, haha. So far the best tasting Pakistani food I have ever had. Going forward this will be my to-go place for any catering needs. I am definitely planning to visit the restaurant soon to try other dishes that they offer.

In fact, I respect family businesses. But if they're going to be serving customers, they need proper training and guidance on how to be waiters. My wife and I came here because of the great reviews, and the food absolutely lived up to the hype. The menu is somewhat limited, but I'd rather see a restaurant focus on doing a smaller number of dishes exceptionally well than offer a huge menu with mediocre food. Be prepared to wait. On a Sunday lunch, there were only two parties ahead of us, and our first dishes still took about 25 minutes to arrive. The samosa plate, garlic nann, chicken tikka masala, and lentil soup were all excellent. Easily some of the better Indian/Pakistani food I've had in the area. The problem was our shrimp karahi. While we were eating everything else, it still hadn't arrived. I asked our server about it and was told it was "almost ready." We continued eating, finished our entire meal, and still no shrimp karahi. It finally arrived after we were completely done eating. Not only was there no apology, but nobody even acknowledged the delay. I was ready to tell them to take it back, but my wife convinced me to keep it since the food was good and we could have it for lunch the next day. Food: 5 stars Service: 2 stars

One detail I loved was the screen playing old-school Indian movies in the background. It adds a layer of nostalgia to the experience that's hard to describe, almost like the feeling you get watching classic black-and-white films. The food does take a little while to come out, but it's absolutely worth the wait. Service is friendly. Samosa Chaat (9/10) - An explosion of flavours. I loved that they leave larger chunks of samosa throughout the dish instead of turning it into one giant mashed potato bowl. Great texture and balance. Dahi Puri (8/10) - Refreshing, slightly spicy, sweet, and savuory all at once. Plus, it's a fun dish to eat. Lamb Curry (7.5/10) - The meat was tender and the curry itself was rich and flavuorful. Butter Chicken (8.5/10) - Packed with flavor and hands down the best butter chicken I've had in Orange County. My only complaint is that the portion wasn't bigger. The server messed up our order despite our usual reservation and arriving on time. As a result the kids were cranky while the food took an hour to arrive in batches not catering to what was asked (kids first!) The food when it arrived was low on salt and flavor and very unlike our past experience. The restaurant wasn't busy when this happened so I can only imagine the chaos when it is packed (if it ever is with their service and food now). Perhaps the staff has moved to other flagship locations and this location is a poorly run unit now. Not going to recommend this location after the poor experience.
