The staff listened to what I needed and was able to fix the problem within 45 minutes, installing a new electric jack for my trailer. The pricing was more than fair. Some additional perks included; a parking lot that went clear around the building with ample space for trailers, coffee to keep me company during my short wait, and the fact that the problem was an emergency and an appointment was not necessary. My whole experience was stress-free and I experienced service beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend Curtis Trailers.

    ### After speaking with the Office Manager today I have learned that the employee who handled the…read morerepair is no longer employed there and I felt that the Manager I spoke with was sincere. If needed in the future I will be giving them another shot #### Had an appointment for 10:00am to replace one of the stabilizers on my 12 foot cargo trailer.. Dropped it off at 9:30am and was told 1:00pm at the latest. When they hadn't called me by 1:30pm I called them..After some hemming and hawing around, I was told they were just about done and they would call me shortly. I decided just to show up and got there at 1:50pm. Turns out they hadn't even started it. I could see why. Someone with a big 5th wheel showed up with no appointment and they were just finishing up a substantial repair for him. I asked him why they haven't started it yet and I got some more hemming and hawing and then was told it's because they had just finished up my trailer inspection(which I never requested and I'm sure wasn't done). I said "So why did an inspection of a single axle 12foot cargo trailer take 4 hrs. He said well we had to break for lunch... Then he turned his attention back to the guy with the 5th wheel and was trying to talk real low and lead the guy around the front of his trailer so he could tell him everything he did to it without me hearing.. The guy says Where ya going, the repairs you did were in the back.. Then he had to explain everything they did 10feet from me where I heard everything.. The lying repair guy wouldn't even look me in the face after that.Started my repair which only took 20minutes and then his buddy comes along and says hey, when are you going to take your lunch? Those burritos were excellent. If you don't want yours I'll take it home for dinner.. Lied to repeatedly... I assume the repair is correct because my new stabilizer functioned properly but I never got down that low to look at the welding.. But I really don't have much choice because my trailer is a Trailers Plus product and they had the part on hand..In the future I will try somewhere that's not them if it doesn't require a part that is specific to them..ATTN: **In fairness to Trailers Plus, I neglected to mention that this happened approximately 2 or 3 years ago..And I will be calling as they have requested in their reply.**

You want to hear about the worst experience I've ever had? Well, I visited their store on a Tuesday…read moreto find a trailer for my new business. I chose a trailer and intended to pay cash that day. However, the salesman convinced me to take out a loan to help build my credit. He instructed me to go online and reserve the trailer for a dollar, and they would hold it for a week. So, I engaged in a conversation with the salesman, went online to reserve the trailer, and even had him double-check that it was reserved. I spoke to the staff in the front office several times throughout the week to check in. I scheduled an appointment for that Saturday to purchase the trailer. While I was scrolling online, I noticed that the trailer was listed as sold. Initially, I thought it might be due to my reservation, but I called the store and spoke to Camden, the manager. I verified that my trailer, which I had already selected, was still on the lot. This incident occurred on Friday, and I wanted to confirm before proceeding with the financing paperwork with my wife. Camden assured me that the trailer was still reserved and that I had a 1:30 PM appointment on Saturday to pick it up. Therefore, I completed the financing paperwork, approved the loan for my wife and me, and arrived at the store on Saturday to collect the trailer. To my dismay, they had sold the trailer! They never informed me, let me know, or attempted to reach out to give me a heads up. I had spoken to them several times throughout the week to inquire about the status of the trailer and let them know that we were working on the financing, but no one mentioned anything about it. Let me tell you about the appalling customer service that almost surpasses the charges I incurred. My wife and I had already checked our credit scores, so they were already affected. We filled out all the paperwork, and apparently, they added another trailer's VIN number to my application without my consent. We were approved for the loan and everything else. When I arrived at the store, they immediately attempted to sell me a different trailer before even informing me that my trailer was unavailable. Despite all this, I only received a generic apology. I usually don't leave negative reviews, but these incidents occurred on Saturday, August 30, 2025, and I find it unbelievable that a company would allow me to go through the entire process of purchasing a trailer and then sell it without informing me. What's the point of reserving a trailer if it's not actually reserved? Furthermore, I felt that they didn't disclose this information because they were aware that I had already completed the financing process. They believed they could sell two trailers instead of just the one by selling the one without informing me. I even offered to pay cash for it on the very first day I visited, but instead, I attempted to follow what I perceived as sound advice. Now, I realize that I was severely mistaken. To add insult to injury, I was supposed to have this trailer ready this weekend for an upcoming job, and now I have to cancel it. This is a significant financial loss for me and my family. If I had the option, I would give them no stars. I strongly advise anyone against visiting that store in Portland, Oregon. One more thing, and I'll stop here. I found a different trailer in Eugene, Oregon, and the salesman tried to convince me that it was a better trailer and that I was getting a better deal. However, when I did some research, I discovered that it was the same exact trailer as the one I had originally wanted, and there was nothing better about it. Additionally, it wasn't the color I had originally desired. Oh, and I have to drive all the way to Eugene to get a trailer that will work for my business, which means another $240 in cash. I wouldn't even be considering buying a trailer from this place if they hadn't already run our credit and approved a loan, which has negatively impacted our credit score. Furthermore, I won't have it in time for a major project that I had already bid on, and now I have to cancel it. Oh, and here's something else: there's a guy named Vladimir who left a review three days ago, driving away with my trailer hooked up. That was supposedly reserved for me. It's just another slap in the face. Well, at least one of us had a good experience, I suppose. Sorry this is such a long review, but I hope it helps others avoid this. If you've read all of this, I'm sure you can understand why I'm so angry.

I placed a call to Northwest trailer and RV and spoke with Dan about purchasing a trailer. He…read morestated he had a 5 by 8. My daughter and I went and looked at the five by eight that he was speaking of. I told Dan that we wanted that one . I explained to him that we were leaving the next day first thing in the morning and needed the trailer quickly and told him that I wanted to get the financing rolling. He said it takes a little bit of time and that we would have to call the financing company. We did so. While waiting for the approval from the lender, Dan called me and said he had another trailer, same kind only silver, in the showroom that would be easier for him to get out. I told him no I wanted the white one that we chose. He proceeded to tell me that he would not be able to get that trailer out until noon the next day. I said we are planning on leaving at 6 in the morning. He said your going to have to go with the silver one or wait. So ultimately I had to tell him I will come look at it. I went and looked at the exterior of the trailer. The trailer was backed close enough to the wall to where I couldn't look inside the back and due to the urgency of needing a trailer , which Dan knew that, I ultimately was forced to actually say fine I'll take this one. The finance company that he works with he knows is in Florida. They are 3 hours ahead. So in speaking with Angela I was advised that she received the the approval and was told by Angela in Florida that we missed the funding time which was 2 p.m. eastern time, which would have been 11 a.m. Washington time. So before he even sent in the paperwork with the trailer information to the financing company that was when he reached out about the silver trailer. He knew that it wasn't going to happen that day and he could have told me, I'll have ample time to get that other trailer out because this isn't going to happen until noon tomorrow anyway. But he didn't. The next day I went to pick up the trailer. I opened up the back I immediately saw all the tire marks in the trailer looked at the door and saw the water damage on the door, I said this trailer is used. He said no it isn't, I'll show you the title. I said look at the tire marks and the damage here on the door. He then admittedly stated well it was used to haul tires. I said so it's used it's not new. Ultimately I was forced to take a used trailer at full new price. He didn't so much as state that he would reduce the price because he knew that it was a used trailer. One tire on the trailer you can definitely see somebody ran it up against the curb as well. His business practices are exceptionally poor. I was 100% taken advantage of because of the urgency of my situation. I am going to speak with the lender and also the company that funds the loans along with the pictures that I had taken and let the funding company know that Dan is selling used trailers at full new price. The warranty card that i signed and Dan said that he would be mailing it in, though I'm not confident that he actually will, I'm going to reach out to the Manufacturing company to confirm whether he sent it in or not . I will advise the manufacturer of the trailer of the condition of the trailer and that Dan sold it as new when it was definitely used and filing a complaint and i will advise that he fully admitted that the trailer had been used to transport tires and he is continuing to offer warranties for the trailers that are used. I have purchased numerous trailers, including horse trailers, throughout my life. This trailer is probably about the 10th cargo trailer that I have owned. Maybe Dan thought that because I was female that I didn't know what I was talking about or would not notice. When I advised that the trailer was used, Dan became very defensive. After that he didn't say two words to me. Whatever you do, go somewhere else. Go to somebody who is honest and fair and does not take advantage urgent situations. I guarantee that when you look at a trailer, and he's got a used one that he cannot offload to anyone else, he's going to do the same thing to you.
