My wife had the teriyaki chicken box

Great food, nice atmosphere and centrally located in downtown Medford. I had the teriyaki chicken dinner. The salad was good and the house homemade salad dressing was wonderful. The teriyaki chicken and sauce was delicious.

The food here is rather so-so, but good enough for what I was expecting for the area as a Californian. We visited on a weekday lunch, and the place was pretty packed! The portions here are actually huge, I'd suggest sharing if you're just looking to fill your appetite. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box - this came with 4 gyoza, 4 California rolls, rice, salad, and the chicken teriyaki itself. The chicken teriyaki was juicy and standard, the gyozas were on the oily side, and the rice tasted like it had a little too much water since it was mushy lol. As for the salad, the dressing was good! I had a few bites of their tempura and it was also tasty. The service was okay, the food came out pretty slow and it also took a while for us to get someone to take our order. Everything is on the pricier side and the ambiance of the restaurant could be better too.

I have loved coming to this restaurant for years due exclusively to their lobster roll. However, what once was a plated dish with a clear indication of lobster inside the roll visually by a cracked Lobster tail and a beautiful display of edible flowers now a basic roll. It took me a minute to distinguish the lack of lobster due to the overwhelming amount of imitation crab, but at the end of the role I could tell what once was lobster is now a subpar fish. You never Fry lobster, and the fish that was in this roll was coated and fried. When I brought this to the service attention, she took it upon herself to talk to the chefs who came over and indicated to me that they didn't know what lobster taste like. In an economy where food prices are increasing, and it's very clear food quality is diminishing. I was incredibly unhappy with my experience. I will say the server was delightful and their miso soup is absolutely outstanding. On the fence on whether I will return to this restaurant, as clearly people are being lied to about their ingredients. This can cause severe food, allergies, and also, the trust factor has been

Food is Great! I've been here multiple times and the food has never disappointed me in any way. Service is great as well. She's very tentative and accommodating. Ambiences, is good for family, date night or just having that self needed alone time.

Spider roll with tempura crab which was basically crispy batter .. tempura was never mentioned in the description. Extremely disappointing.

Visiting Medford where there is a lot of sushi option, we settled on this place. We sat outside, which was a nice shaded patio area.. service was extremely slow for 2:00 in the afternoon. We started with the crab wontons which were finger licking good... especially since we were never given any form of plates, utensils, or napkins. After that I ordered the Spider roll which was crab, avocado, cucumber and chopped crab.. what I got served was five pieces of a large messy role with tempura crab... which after crab being fried it resembled, shriveled up crunchy batter . Overall I was so disappointed!

Food was phenomenal, service was great, and the atmosphere was perfect. This place was recommended to us by a family member while we were visiting and while it's not right off the freeway it is worth the jaunt into town if you're looking for superb sushi.

The Imitation crab is overwhelming. Menu prices are severely out of date and then overpriced for what you get. I ordered the shrimp tempura roll, it was a mouthful of imitation crab and a crumb of shrimp with soggy tempura. Also ordered the mixed seafood and veggie with yakisoba wok special. Once again the "mixed seafood" was just imitation crab. Yikes, do better Ms. Misoya.

The food was good but the service sucked. The lady hardly spoke english and kept trying to get me to order the more expensive sushi roll.

Although they don't have a large selection of rolls, it's still a place I'd go back to. The Spanish Roll is delicious!

Clean. Very clean. Thank you. Fresh. The food was fresh,…read morenot versus frozen, but rather versus old. There is nothing I hate more than stir fried food that isn't at the peak of freshness. It gets a flavor that I can't stand. This is a quaint and small restaurant that seems to have a large takeout following. As you enter, you notice its smells like freshly cooked and cooking food. The sizzle from the grill can be heard throughout the restaurant and you can see enough of the kitchen and the floor to know it's thoroughly cleaned often. A photo of one of the past kings is prominently displayed and the decor is very modern. This is a good place for a date or a family dinner. It's versatile. I had my fave, pineapple fried rice with shrimp. It was so good, I kept taking bites after I was full and now I am paying the price. I'm as bloated as Violet in Willie Wonka when she ate the blueberry gum. I may be uncomfortable, but I'm still looking forward to leftovers tomorrow. I also had the Tom Ka combination seafood soup, another favorite. This was as tasty as my usual in the SF Bay Area but with one difference, the seafood was more plentiful and the scallops were super tender. The only favorite I didn't get was the coffee. I can't do that much caffeine at night and still sleep. I have my leftovers for tomorrow and maybe I will get over there for coffee at lunch time. I highly recommend this place and will be taking my gf, a local, there for lunch often. Oh and Emily, the waitress, is fantabulous. Friendly and helpful is such a good combination.

Went to the restaurant to get pad thai and had to order online due to their cc reader being down…read more No big deal. I wanted to eat there but bc I ordered online, they gave it to go. Again, not a big deal. The female working was nice and smiled a lot. I got it back to eat it and saw that it was a pretty healthy portion but wish they would have included lime. I got 2 star on the spicy level which was perfect for me; a little heat but not too hot. The food was fine...not great but decent and probably what you'd expect from Thai food in Southern OR. The issue I had was with the to-go packaging. The foil, which probably helped keep the food warm, tore when I got toward the bottom. I had to fish out pieces of foil from the noodles. Other than the foil, the my experience was pretty average.
