Went for lunch on a week day and was seated right away. The food was great, served fresh and not a long wait for food. So many great options whether you want Pho, rice, or a Bahn Mi. A great hole in the wall for those looking for authentic food!

Great service even with only 1 waiter. Party of 8 on a busy Saturday night. We had reserved our table earlier in the week so we were seated right away when we arrived. Food came out fast. We ordered the spring rolls, fried egg rolls, pho, chicken curry, vermicelli with egg rolls, pork, and beef. All dishes were tasty and the portion size were very generous. Plenty of seating available as well as bubble tea. Conveniently located inside a strip mall with plenty of parking. Definitely worth a try if you are craving vietnamese.

This is a delightful family-run business with impeccable service. The food was delicious. There is ample parking (lot). It is a modest space in which you can converse with your table mate(s).

A nice cozy clean family run business with some lip smacking Vietnamese food. The service was great and quick. I had ordered : Goi Cuon/ Summer Roll : It was made fresh and the hint of mint created a magical taste. Banh Beo Chen : Steamed Rice cake topped with Pork is a MUST try. Bun Bo Hue : Their Spicy beef pho was Heavenly. The spices were perfectly blended. Great aroma and taste. I am definitely going to go back again.

Being a little bit of a trek from where we live, and having heard that this was probably the best Vietnamese pho place in New Jersey I was shocked that Miss Saigon lived up to the hype and our expectations. The portions were generous and the prices amazing. The broth was superb. A very home cooked flavor to it. Rich but not chemical tasting. Excellent noodles and meat accompanied my large pho dac biet. The combination of the above amazing soup beef soup was enhanced by the flavor of the basil, lime, chili peppers and bean sprouts. In my opinion, it's really what sets Vietnamese pho apart from many other cuisines - a banging bone broth soup with fresh herbs and spices. At least in theory. This place got it right. My son had his favorite dish, I call it Vietnamese san bao fan - grilled pork chop, a sunny side fried egg, and meat loaf. The pork chop was cooked well, tender and flavorful, not too charred. The egg was slightly runny as he loves. The atmosphere was very homey and family friendly. I think the kid of the owner was my waiter. Another plus is the byob

My husband and I stopped by for lunch and I must say the food was EXCELLENT!!!! The server was very nice and knowledgeable! He helped with suggestions. The food is beautifully presented and we were totally wowed! We use to visit the one on Atlantic City and this location is the same owner. We plan on going there once a week. Be back soon Kris and Jimmy

Was looking for spicy chicken pho. Didn't see it on the menu so we called and asked if there's one. The guy on the phone very friendly said they don't have but he can definitely make one for me. It was very well made, perfectly spiced and so delicious. The grilled chicken was superb by itself. Everything put together taste fantastic. Also it's very cute inside. Highly recommend this place. Very reasonable priced for the size of the potion.

marinated chicken pho. Comes with sprouts, basil, and lime on the side

The Pho is amazing I come back once a week the service is always on point as well. The art and music are calming and it is always an enjoyable meal.

Pho was very good. Very nice staff. They went very skimpy on the meat on my bbq pork sandwich. Come on guys, this should have been a 5 star rating all day.

Here in Regal Plaza, you will find Vietnamese cuisine. For all the times I came to the plaza, I…read morealways wanted to go there as a final stop. Considering another eatery, I discovered that it was temporarily closed, which led me to go this eatery instead. Brand: 4/5 Vietnam Bistro is a Vietnamese restaurant in Regal Plaza in Howell Township. I like how the brand maintains a form easy to understand, from the name to the logo showing a bowl of food with chopsticks. The sign outside is itself simple in design albeit inconsistent, since the font does not match the one on the logo. You will also find lots of artwork decorating the walls and plastic plants. Website: 4/5 Vietnam Bistro immediately invites you to their website with the opening of B-Roll footage of food on sticks prepared on a grill. While you do have access to the menu, only a few of the items have images. Pertaining to the overall design of the website, it makes use of images and B-Roll footage with good placement, giving the entire website a good presentation with every scroll. Wait Time: 5/5 I experienced no issues or delays, as I received the beverage and the meal quickly. Ambiance: 4/5 You will hear Vietnamese pop playing throughout the establishment with a soothing volume. While the tables did have a small size, they make up for it by including containers filled with eating utensils with Vietnamese terms on it, which I found quite fascinating. Plenty of space exists separating the tables, and the establishment had a large capacity to accommodate many people. The seats felt slightly comfortable. The menu selection offers you a glimpse into authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Food: 5/5 I ordered the BánhMì Thịt Nướng with grilled pork packed between two buns, with Thai Tea. The crunchy baguette held its form as the grilled pork became the most prominent flavor. The flavor of the well-cooked pork especially came out with the addition of barbecue sauce. The vegetables, especially the cucumbers, gave it a balanced taste. The Thai Tea had a robust, tangy flavor. This entire course brought me into a pleasant mood, for not only did I get to try my first Vietnamese meal, but the tea especially gave me a decent experience that lasted throughout the day. The wait time it took to cook the meal matched the quality perfectly, and I can clearly see how they would feature on the website as a menu item. The service puts care into their menu items, and they keep within the spirit of Vietnamese cuisine. Service: 5/5 The staff made sure that I had a well-attended experience. I do not know if he was the owner, but he ensured that I knew what I wanted by offering me not just the menu but also a tablet showing the images of the items. Although they had a randomized order, I can definitely understand that a non-Vietnamese American like myself would probably not know much about Vietnamese cuisine. It is also a sign of a technologically aware establishment. Based on my first impressions, I will say that the service matches the quality of the brand, and they care about the food for the website does not lie when it claims it serves food with "love and care." The service ensured that I received my order quickly, even by piecemeal with the Thai Tea first and the Banh Mi second. Nothing about the ambiance tried my patience as I awaited my order. Cost: 4/5 Taking into consideration every aspect of this business, I will say that everything seemed to coalesce perfectly. As far personal suggestions, I would like to see more images of the menu items on that tablet and on that website. For such a simple yet effective logo, I would like to see it reflected on the sign outside. I would say that I would have given the cost three stars, the fact that I had a good first impression on Vietnamese cuisine means that it piqued my curiosity to the point I would want to come back in the future. With all that being said, I will say that the price of the Banh Mi and the Thai Tea was ultimately worth it. Rating: 5/5 Stars I can see how this Vietnamese restaurant would continue to represent Regal Plaza. Coming to Vietnam Bistro, I would consider it a first option for lunch or dinner. With the brand, you know what you are getting yourself into; and with the service, you will never feel lost. I wish more ethnic-themed restaurants would have as much accommodations when it comes to their menu items as Vietnam Bistro. Recommend To... I thought that was odd but okay. Since I've never frequented this establishment before, I always order the Drunken Tofu Noodle along with curry puffs to see how it is. It's my barometer for judging how they are as a Thai restaurant. The server mentioned their curry puffs contain chicken as an ingredient. I was fine with that. The server boasted that they make it in-house, so I was looking forward to it. After she placed it down and I took my first bite, I was expecting it to be crunchy as it's fried. I was met with it firstly, with it being room temperature. Taking my initial bite, I was disappointed with the lack of crispness. The stuffing inside was also very mushy, and it was supposed to be chicken curry puffs. I was, however, able to taste the curry powder, so that was good. The Drunken Noodle had American broccoli and baby corn in lieu of onions and carrots for vegetables. I was expecting the usual long flat noodles, but the flat noodles appeared to be broken into shorter pieces. At the time of my ordering, I had no idea it didn't come with the standard tofu because they kept asking if I wanted shrimp, chicken, or beef. I was surprised when they upcharged me an extra $2 for the fried tofu. My stomach was bothering me today, so I asked for it to be mild. It definitely took me by surprise as it was spicier than I planned for. It was extremely greasy; however, the taste of chili paste was evident, giving it a good flavor. After finishing up, the employee asked me a couple of times if I desired any dessert, to which both times, I indicated I was quite full, declined, thanked them, and requested the check. I could see the clear disappointment on their face. The ambiance is quite beautiful, and their food was tasty. Being seated at a booth allowed me to feel deliciously isolated and get some reading done.

I noticed the karaoke stand and stage, but there was no one singing at the time so they must have karaoke on certain occasions or time. We looked at the menu and it looked pretty impressive. When we were ready to order, no staff are around. Five minutes later, our waitress showed up and took our orders. For appetizers, we had the mini crepes and my entree, vermicelli special which included grilled pork and shrimps and a spring roll. The crepes were a bit undercooked and it's not as crispy as it should be. I was also a bit disappointed with my entree. The vermicelli noodles were overcooked so the noodles were broken into smaller strands. The fish sauce was pretty bland. I really wanted to like this place but sadly it was a letdown. The broth was extremely rich and flavorful, and with a small addition of chili oil it was spot on. The noodles were clearly fresh and had excellent texture. My only real criticism was the amount of beef, which felt a bit light given the price point. My total for a solo lunch came to about $40 before tip. Overall, I'd rate the experience a 4/5.
