When I saw it on the menu, I knew I had to try it! I ordered the 3-egg omelette for only $1 more than the 2-egg. I ordered hash browns with onions and a biscuit as my sides. I also added a side of sausage gravy. The omelette and the hash browns were delicious! I would definitely order that again. The biscuit was good, and it paired perfectly with the rich sausage gravy. The gravy also paired well with the omelette. My wife enjoyed her French Toast. The serving was large and the food was tasty. She mentioned that the French Toast was a bit thin and she would have liked it better if the bread had been a bit thicker. My friend ordered chocolate chip pancakes and he raved about them. His bacon was a cooked perfectly. Mickey's is the restaurant you think of when you want a home cooked breakfast. The fresh food is homemade, tasty, and filling. We hope to visit again soon. We waited and waited and the waitress said "it will be right" out and then she disappeared. We asked the hostess to check on our food and she also disappeared. After overhearing another table complain that they were waiting over an hour and not hearing back from the waitress or the hostess, we told another waitress that we had been there an hour and were leaving. I can't believe this hidden gem is right around the corner from me. Didn't even know it was there. They said they didn't advertise and had been there for many many years. I highly recommend the joint. There's no inside seating. One side is screened in around it and the other side is open under a canopy. Very very good food. I'll be back for sure!! My friends had the turkey club where no lie it had to be 4 inches high and said it was delicious and a Caesar salad in a bread pocket...
