The wait staff should check on tables throughout the meal instead of making guests turn the light blue just to get their attention. Guests should not have to flag someone down for basic service. I also do not like that they do not have a soda machine. Paying $3 for a canned Coke, especially when each person may have two or three, feels excessive. Overall, the food and meat service can be very good, and Val's personal hospitality is appreciated. However, the wait staff, pricing (no lunch), and drink setup make the experience frustrating.
