Mister Oso is a fantastic restaurant with a really affordable happy hour. We've been twice already for the delicious cocktails and nachos. Also tried the aguachile off the main menu and a vegetarian taco off the happy hour menu - both were really good. I particularly enjoyed the nachos with a mix of cheese, queso, red onions, jalapeños, and so much more. The cocktails are also fantastic and if really well priced during happy hour. Service is fast and friendly as well!

This experience was OK. They have a lot of cocktails on the menu however they are all tequila and they will not swap them out for any other liquor which I found odd. I did ask them to make me a bees knees and they weren't sure if they could do that, but apparently they figured out how to make one so I did receive that. I did not get to order what I wanted from the menu as they were out of a lot of dishes. I am pescatarian so the only thing I could eat here that day was the vegan tacos, which turned out to be a bunch of carrots. They were extremely spicy and undercooked. They were very hard to eat. I did not have the best time here as the staff seemed very distant. Maybe it was just a bad day. I will try again.

Delicious breakfast options, along with beautiful plating. The colors in the bowl made it more appealing and enjoyable. Our server was very friendly and had a great suggestion on the breakfast empanadas. Next time we're in Denver, this will be a contender for a repeat visit.

Our server was AWESOME! As for the food...I really wanted to like it but felt that it was just okay. Nothing really blew me away except the churros. If this was closer to my house I'd come back for just the churros.

Wow! I'm a big fan of Mister Oso - Wash Park! First, the place is so cute and fun with the colors and unique wall paper. I also really enjoy the spacious feel and the ability to make a reservation. But most importantly, the food is really good! We ordered a lot of different foods but the Carne Asada Tacos are in point! One of my top restaurants in Denver to go to!

A little coleslaw forward, but it adds acid to the breakfast tostada

Great portions at great prices. The smoked potatoes was a meal for two on its own and I liked the breakfast tostada for even less. And the included %20 is awesome. I wish that more places did that.

Mister Oso in Wash Park is a great place to stop in for a bite or a beverage. We sat at the bar for a couple of drinks during their progressive happy hour (the earlier you go, the bigger the discount), which has amazing specials and runs from 3-6pm daily. Happy hour includes both small bites and drinks. Bartending staff are friendly and make great drinks. I had their cold brew Martini with espresso vodka, Tromba Cafeto, vanilla, and cold brew. It was delicious! With colorful tropical and floral decor, Mister Oso will transport you away to a little fiesta or siesta, depending on your mood.

Went for Happy Hour - it was delicious. Pricey (but what isn't these days). On the happy hour menu we ordered the Gordo crunch -( wife loved it, I did not) Death Bear Nachos were excellent (we ordered no chorizo) the queso is spectacular! Also ordered drinks - margarita, Paloma were good, also ordered the chili chili bang bang which was just ok. Cauliflower wings were fried perfectly. And the sauce/dip that comes with it - I want to smother it on everything and actually ate some of it with the pork tacos - the mojo pork tacos which were superb. The chicken tacos - not the tinga- were ok but not my favorite but I think this is just personal preference. The place itself and the service was great. Will definitely be back.

Mister Oso is always a good idea! We came at 2pm and was a little bummed to see they were only serving brunch because we love their lunch. We decided to go with it and it was sooooo good! This is your sign to try their brunch. Service was great, sat at the patio (in January 2026!!), and the vibes and food were great.

Had a good experience at Mister Oso and the food was pretty good as well. A lot of unique options! Overall the queso and churros were our favorite!

The restaurant is so cute with such a fun vibe. Service was excellent, our waitress was attentive and super helpful. We started with queso and guacamole, both of which were amazing. The tacos are served family-style, which I loved because it let me try a little bit of everything. The mojo tacos were incredible and I'll definitely be coming back just for those! The margaritas were also really good and we will be back in the near future!

You've got to be kidding me. Literally crumbs and they looked at this and still served it haha

Went here for restaurant week and Valentine's Day because they had openings (no surprise). The food is usually pretty good here and the drinks are just the same. Service here the last time was alright but my cup seems to sit empty every time I'm in here. Love to atmosphere in here but there's always something off, I've never had a seamless experience here.

Host could not have been sweeter, super welcoming and started the night off right. Our server was very different, super short and rushed us from the second we sat down for our reservation. Drinks were not strong but tasted okay, we ordered guacamole which was different but good, bad chips though. The second the guacamole dropped we asked to order again, pictured are the Al pastor which were a disappointment sadly. Fatty and unflavored which was so sad! The Birria were a hit. We then ordered another drink to then be brought the check, we were still eating. Our server Micheal came back with the receipt saying nothing then snatched our signed copy without a word while we were still eating. We had a later reservation but the restaurant was over half full. Super disappointed in this location and our service, would not recommend sadly.

It's absolutely authentic, but with an elevated menu that really delivers. We got the chip trio, but you almost wouldn't need it since they have a full salsa bar, including endless pico de gallo and sour cream. But the chips are thick and crunchy and delicious. I tried the taco de birria de chivo (goat) and was truly blown away. The meat is so tender and seasoned so well, you can taste the allspice in it, which is perfect for goat, and so unique to Mexican food. I also tried the al Pastor and the Carne Asada, both were also to die for. I love how they make the taco have a little bottom and give it three sides, to help us fit all the generous portion that they give. They also have several different Agua Fresca's, that you serve yourself and get unlimited refills, including Horchata. It's amazing. I've already come back another time since.

I started going when they were still operating out of their food truck, and honestly, watching them grow into a permanent restaurant feels like seeing your favorite underground band finally make it big... except instead of music, they're dropping cheesy taco masterpieces. The queso tacos are absolutely ridiculous in the best possible way: crispy, cheesy, messy, and worth ruining at least one shirt over. And the consome? That stuff could heal emotional damage. It's rich, comforting, and somehow makes you immediately want "just one more taco" even when you're already full. Every time I'm in Denver, this place is mandatory. Not optional. Not "if there's time." Mandatory. My vacation itinerary basically starts with flights and ends with tacos. So happy to see Kike's getting the recognition they deserve. If you haven't been yet, prepare to have your standards permanently ruined for all other tacos.

Not a big deal but they put all the tacos in one box and I was able to differentiate which 3 tacos that I ordered. This place is super stingy with salsa. They gave me 2 tiny containers for salsa and then when I asked for a couple more, the lady said she could only give me two more. :( Excited to try the food and started off great with a simple bean, cheese, and rice burrito but outside of that everything else was very meh. Not sure how but all the meats were so dry, I ordered braised/slow cooked meats (barbacoa and carnitas). Asada and pastor were okay as well. Everything lacked seasoning and the salsa didn't add much to the tacos either. Birria tacos were also dry and consommé needed salt to be added. Value was not bad at $37.64. Walk in casually as you go about your day on a sunny afternoon and have a quick Mexican food along…read morewith a refreshing Mexican beer kind of place is how I summarize this place. This long skinny establishment - not necessarily super spacious - can offer you a decent food that you can count on. You don't need anybody to go with - you can be a solo diner because this place is not intimidating in any way. It's that casual. I think this establishment was born in the old Stoney's Cantina space. Whether the place was huge enough to create two businesses (and thus La Loteria occupied half of it), I sort of saw some "remnant" of Stoney's was the impression that I got. Whatever I am correct on this or not, this casual Mex place is all about vivid pastel colored interior where red is mostly dominant. Intriguing murals on walls 360 degrees are quite impressive. Once you are inside, a huge arrow to direct the people to order to their left at the ordering counter. That ordering counter extends all the way where you'll see some bar seatings. The right side of it mostly has tables for small to large groups of people. Like I said, this place is not huge but at the same time, people don't stay long to dine; the turnover is quite quick in a way. The restaurant also gets many walk-in to-go order placers as well. I got me the Aztec Bowl for to-go. This dish is only $11 (as of early May of 2025) and is a vegetarian item. I consume a lot of vegetarian diet and yet my instinct loudly spoke to me to add some protein to it. Whether or not you can keep it non-meat to stay in the vegetarian zone, adding some protein to this dish is a must as if it was by itself, it would be a bit boring because it only has some greens and some slices of avocado. As the add-on, I got me the carne asada ($5.00) that comes with rice. Not bad.. I didn't eat it right after I got home; I meant to get it to eat it the next day which I did (this AM.) It was still fresh where nothing tasted stale. The carne asada was well-cooked with seasonings. In other words, it wasn't salty at all but held good flavors. Now on the receipt, I saw a charge of what's called "takeout service fee" which is 18%. I kind of assumed that this was mostly the mandatory gratuity. At the end of the card transaction, I remember that the different gratuity percentages were listed on the machine and they were quite small because of this fee. It'll be up to you to add more if you wish. Some people might complaint about this mandated system and yet I kind of understand that businesses nowadays must survive by navigating through the rising cost of living. As we have seen our favorite businesses disappear in the recent years, I am here to support them by whatever I could within my power. Whereas the parking on Broadway is a pain in the neck at any time of the day, if I think of a casual Mexican dining in the Baker neighborhood next time, I may stop by here. It's a good establishment to know.

And it does draw a very diverse crowd from the Hispanics to Caucasians to Asians, I mean you name it. They also get a lot of to-go orders. Some people came in, grabbed their food and went on their way for the night. My friend got the Torta Los Carboncito. This is a massive sandwich with plenty of meat inside. Since the menu has colored picofor almost each item, what caught my attention was the fish dish. There are two of them: one is trout and the other is something else (I forgot) but I got me the non-trout one. The lady asked me if I wanted the flour or corn tortillas so I went with the corn one. As soon as I got home, my late night snacking started. I only took several bites out of that whatever the huge fish. And oh my goodness, it was so delicious! Well-seasoned with very light salt. Although I mainly got it for tomorrow morning/lunch I had a hard time quit eating because of its deliciousness. Extremely welcoming staff (I even met the owner, Alex as he was dining with his family), quality food and value pricing, this place checks out for the hidden gem restaurant that's not necessarily super fancy but it's worth every penny and time. I grabbed a seat at the bar where the bartender was friendly and engaging. On a recent Wednesday at 7:15, the restaurant was packed. When I left around 8:30, it was still busy. That's usually the best review a restaurant can get. Loyal customers don't keep coming back out of habit. They come back because it feels like home. The all-day happy hour margarita for $9 certainly doesn't hurt. The second one arrives before you've had time to argue yourself out of it. I ordered the enchiladas with carne asada and their house mole. If you're expecting one of those intensely complex moles with enough ingredients to fill a pantry, this isn't that. Adelitas' version is comforting, approachable, and deeply homey. It tastes less like a culinary experiment and more like something your abuela has been making for decades. The carne asada was tender, the rice and beans were exactly what they should be, and every bite reminded me why comfort food never goes out of style. Before leaving, I made the smartest decision of the evening. Tres leches to go. I devoured it later at home while Netflix asked if I was still watching. The cake somehow manages to be light while completely satisfying. Don't skip it. Better yet, don't pretend you're saving it for tomorrow. Adelitas isn't trying to impress you. It's trying to feed you well, welcome you warmly, and send you home happier than when you arrived. Whether your abuela was Mexican...or Greek...you'll understand exactly what they're serving here.
