If I could give no stars for Mistlin I would. I'm so upset and disappointed with them. I take my 2014 Honda Civic religiously to get oil changes there every single time also I bought my car there. I chose to take my civic there because I'm expecting exceptional service I'm paying more and I'm bringing my car where I bought it.. I was in need of my B12 service I took it to a master technician elsewhere to save a lil money and was told that my removal pan was hanging off it was installed wrong and missing a bolt also a leak that was never brought to my attention witch should have considering when they preform the oil changes they do an inspection on the car. I told him that I always bring my car to mistlin for my oil services ect.. and the tech said that's not the first time he's heard bad service at Mistlin. So at this point I'm furious. .I called mistlin talked to the service manager Sean who was NOT helpful at all! He told me he could fix the pan put a bolt in it and fix the leak .. I told him that the pan and bolt was fixed and I will NOT take my car there to fix the leak, it's very unfortunate because I did buy my car there and trust them to work on my car Also i did tell him who worked on my car and he knew who i was talking about..so this was an excellent tech.If I knew I was gonna get bad service I should have went to jiffy lube. Mistlin lost a great customer and I will Not recommend Mistlin to my family or friends any longer. I'm going to Tracy Honda for future service! read more

My life, and those of my two children, ages 7 and 10, could've been endangered due to the lack of professionalism and negligence of Mistlin. I recently went in because my car was making a metal scraping noise. After an hour and a half wait and after their service department did their 12 point inspection, I was told by two employees that the noise was not due to my brakes. I was told that my rear brakes still had 30% life on them. 3 wks later, my neighbor helped me change my brakes and showed me the inner rear brake that had 0% on it. I'm VERY disappointed in the negligence for my car And my concern. After doing a bit of research myself and finding out how dangerous it was for me to have been driving, under a false sense of security that was given to me by the "professionals" at Mistlin, I would never recommend anyone to go here again for any kind if service. My life should've been worth more than what Mistlin would've made, from my further damaging my car because I trusted what their employees told me. read more

save your time and money. came here for the first time for an oil change and tire rotation and told it would take 2 to 3 hours when i scheduled. i showed up 10 minutes before my appt and had to wait 15 minutes for Bob. he then told me my car wouldn't be ready until early afternoon. i picked up my car and now there's a bubble in one of my brand new tires. i called and spoke with him, asked him what i'm supposed to do about it. Bob was completely rude and disrespectful. he speaks to females like they are stupid. I worked in the car business and know more about cars than the average female, he demanded me to do something that didn't make sense. he then cut me off mid sentence calling me a liar. he hung up on me after i asked to speak with someone else. the manager george wasn't anymore help and offered a "free oil change" voucher like i'd ever come back here. i used to go to tracy honda and god i'd drive the 30 minutes there every time going forward. at least they care about their customers. been going to tracy for service since i got my car in 2016 and never once had an issue with them. Mistlin Honda has a different idea what customer service is and this service department is straight garbage. My husband and I purchased a new car from Mistlin a couple years ago. The were pretty good and even price matched an identical vehicle in Lodi. Unfortunately, that is where the good ends... We returned to Mistlin to looks at User Certified Honda Pilots. We told the salesman our requirements (features, year, mileage) and price. He indicated nothing was in stock at the time. We had a working second car and weren't in a hurry, so we left our phone number and asked him to call us when something came in. A week later we received a call that they had new Pilots. My husband went to Mistlin and was upset to find none of the used Pilots were within our price range. He pointed this out to the salesman who promised he could get the price down. The manager reiterated the same. My husband allowed them to run his credit but made it very clear the price must be dropped. Every one agreed. Two hours later they ran his credit, and lowered the price $500 (still thousands away from our budget). Hours wasted, a credit run and ding to his credit, my husband left. We went to Tracyi Honda and got EXACTLY what we were looking for! UPDATED: We live in Modesto and decided to try out the service department for an oil change. I brought in a coupon and showed it to the technician when checking in. The oil change took almost two hours and they didn't honor the coupon!! I was directed to the Parts Lounging area where I was neglected by being welcomed including being ignored and looked at with a disgusting look by the two Hispanic women in the Cashier area. Finally when it was obvious the two women observed me, they still completely ignored to greet me or offer assistance. This is extremely unprofessional to customers who choose to select Mistlin Honda as their choice of Service. I will be taking my vehicle in the future to Tracy Honda. The drive isn't much of a difference to get better quality service. Horrible people with no professionalism just a pay check. I visited the lot three separate times looking to purchase a car and each time I encountered a rude sales person who knew nothing about their own inventory. On my final visit there I spoke to Richard who claimed to be the floor manager, the entire time I was talking to him he had his headphones in and was barely paying attention. Mistlin Honda has terrible customer service. I sent two emails inquiring on a Honda Civic Type R with no response back. The only way I can get a hold of someone is by picking up a phone to call them and that would be my third time trying to reach them. I was told that because I'm not local they would not sell me the car. There are plenty of other Honda dealerships selling the Type R to non-locals as long as they have the funds for it. Plenty of people are buying the car out-of-state just to get one. I'm sure if the money was right that they would have no problem selling it to me. Terrible business ethics. read more

I'm very upset with the express oil change at Mistlin Honda. I made an appointment more than a week ago for an oil change and tire rotation on my car. My appt. was @ 8:15, I arrived at 8 am and got my car checked in promptly. I went to wait in the customer service area, and waited and waited, being patient due to the Coivd-19 I was thinking it may take a bit more time. However, by 10 am I decided I would go check in my vehicle. The technician said that my car was up next, WHAT.. I had an 8:15 Appt. He gave me some random excuses of which I was not satisfied with. I asked for a manager and I believe his name was Jason, he came to speak with me and was honest, he said there was a mishap with the computer checking in my car, he didn't try to make excuses and the took my car in immediately to the main shop. He also assured me that the fee would be waived for my inconvenience. I appreciate his honestly and making things right, I'm still not happy about the situation but I'm glad they took the steps to rectify the situation. read more

This place is a joke. Came here yesterday to show them that my windshield started cracking even when there was no impact from a rock. It is a a defect on the windshield and should be covered under warranty since my car is only 6 months old. Arrived at 4:15 PM and was told the manager must take a picture and asses the damage and that he is normally in between 9-5 but he has already gone for the day. Came back the next morning around 10 AM we kept waiting for the manager but was being told he is busy or unavailable. He never came out to see my car. They kept me waiting for almost an hour and a half and 3 different guys looked at my car and said a rock hit it but could not pinpoint the location of impact. They are obviously avoiding repairing this under warranty and wants me to pay out of pocket. I will file a formal complaint with the BBC read more
