This establishment was disappointing and kind of a bizarre experience. First of all, we asked to sit outside. The hostess (mind you it's almost 90 degrees outside) seats us at a table without a ceiling fan. There were literally no other customers sitting outside and there were like five other tables that had fans above them. Really? The server took our order and then we asked to move to a table with a fan. The server was friendly although she was sort of ditzy. She never refilled my water glass and my wife had to flag her down to get a refill. According to the menu, the club sandwich does not come with fries. You have to pay $2 extra for fries. It does come with a few choices; however, I wanted fries. The food was delivered somewhat promptly expect for my wife's bagel and my fries. The bagel came a few minutes later and the fries came when I was almost finished with my sandwich. I told the server to cancel the fries and that I didn't want them at that point. She then asks my wife if she wants them. She ordered fruit as a side and didn't want the home fries or any kind of potato as a side. Why would she want the fries? My wife asks for a to go container for her fruit. The server brings her an empty plastic bag. We both are like, "What is going on? This is so strange". A few minutes later, she comes back with a container. I wanted her to confirm that the fries were taken off the check since I didn't want them. She looks at the check, on her machine, and confirms that the fries were not charged to begin with. I told her that the menu said it was $2 for fries. Her response was, "They change things up here so much. Maybe they are included now?" Really? You work here and you don't know the menu! Good grief! I decided to trust her because I just wanted to get out of there. The food was not great and the turkey tasted sort of weird. I asked for toasted bread and it came not toasted. I ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese and my husband got a pancake with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage ('And One'). The bagel was served about 5 minutes before the other dish arrived, so I waited - after all we wanted to eat together. The food on his plate didn't look very appealing. Taste was just fair. The waitress came and checked us out before we were finished eating- 'it is so busy inside', please pay now- weird. We felt like she was rushing us out... Time to update since I last reviewed this place five years ago and sadly things have gone downhill. The 2 eggs, home fries and bagel with juice that used to be an amazing deal at $5.99 is now $10.50 and no longer includes juice. Their prices have gone up a ridiculous amount on everything. They used to have a nice selection of different cream cheeses in the cold case display but now a lot of it is already prepackaged. They also used to have delicious baked salmon salad, now they call it baked salmon salad and whitefish salad and when I tasted it, the taste of whitefish was overwhelming and there was no pink color to it like there would be if baked salmon was in it. For those of you who've eaten baked salmon salad before I know you know what I'm talking about. Service was good but I doubt if I'll be back here when there are so many more reasonable places to eat. read more

I had a really disappointing experience at this breakfast spot. I waited in line for a long time, watching several groups come in after me. What bothered me the most was seeing multiple white customers get served ahead of people of color who had clearly been waiting longer. It honestly felt like the line rules only applied to some people and not others. No one from the staff seemed to care or correct it, even though it was obvious and frustrating for those of us still waiting. Here I am again, 3 years later, updating my review. There aren't a lot of good bagel places in Weston and honestly I hate that I am having to update my review but here goes. PROS: the restaurant is super clean. Food tastes good and service is typically quick. Coffee is always hot and I like the variety of bagels. My favorite is the sunflower seed bagels. The toppings are on both sides and they aren't crazy "bready" or as my grandfather would say "horsey." They also make a pretty good bialy. Wednesdays they have a buy a dozen, get 6 free - which is a good deal, but go early so you get what you want. Cons: the prices are crazy and aren't inline with what you get. We were there recently and my husband ordered a ham & cheese egg sandwich in a wrap. It's pretty much all wrap. My husband added a side of cucumber salad. When the bill came I noticed it was $5.50 for the side. I questioned it. The server indicated that's what it comes up as. We were sitting near the register and I pointed out that a 1/2 lb bulk was only $5 and that small bowl was no where near a 1/2 lb. She then agreed to ask someone. The gentleman at the register said "the price is on the menu." No it isn't because we had a breakfast menu. After a little back and forth they agreed to charge us the 1/4 pound price of $2.50. Mitch's has always been a little more expensive, but during/since covid the pricing has gotten out of hand, especially for delivery. I like that I can pay at the table and not wait for the server to return, but honestly the over priced cucumber salad and attitude about it has made me want to dine else where. read more

Even when it was extremely busy I was still helped out by a kind employee named RJ. The employees here are really nice!

We waited a long time just to be greeted, and when a server finally came over, she told us we weren't in her section but said she guessed she could help us. That set the tone for the visit. The everything bagel itself was good, but unfortunately the eggs and sausage were cold on both of our overpriced sandwiches. The skillet potatoes were the best part, but you need to like them burned like we do. Some were not edible. The only person who truly seemed to be working hard was the woman bussing tables--she was clearing tables, grabbing menus, helping with drink orders, and keeping things moving for multiple tables. I appreciate that they listen to feedback from their customers and are dedicated to providing good customer service. My husband and I really do enjoy Mitch's and take all of our out of town guests here for brunch. The bagels are very good and I like to try a different bagel sandwich on each visit. We need the Cleveland clinic from time to time, from the west coast of florida. It's almost a three hour drive.But after the medical is done, it's worth it to visit Mitch's.West side bagels, too! Today I skipped the bagels and went right for the classic reuben with the best french fries.I have ever had. Light and crispy and tasty. Fresh corned beef, warm saurkraut, and lots of thousand island dressing on a perfectly grilled rye bread sandwich. 5-star, highly recommended, never lets us down.
