Decided to try out a local taco place in Brooklyn. My taste buds and senses never led me wrong. I walked past here and you can smell the goodness from down the street. They had me at Sangritas! Please note that I have been looking for this drink (or something similar) since I left College Station, Tx. This drink was absolutely everything I have been searching for. It exceeded my expectations in every regard and made me nastalgic, to say the least. Upon our arrival, we were immediately greeted and seated. Our waitress, which was great, recommended the lobster guacamole and lamb enchiladas, which I was truly a fan of. As soon as we approached we were greeted and asked if we preferred indoor or outdoor seating. We went with outside because DUHHH it's summer in NYC . Our waitress was a joy. Answering all of our questions. I was so intrigued by the green sangria which consists of melon liquor and lychee. I went with the green sangrita which adds a swirl of frozen margarita.... BOMB!!! I love Miti Miti. I usually choose here when I want some good Mexican food and a good vibe. They have some really great cocktails as well. I always receive great service from the employees as well. My favorite isbtheir Pina colada. I highly recommend it. But keep in mind it can be a little strong so if your intentions are to turn up, I'd say have 2 and if you can keep going by all means. Lol. It's usually pretty loud in there given people and music so it's not really quiet in my opinion. Lol. The Guacamole and salsa is really good and made freshly which is a plus for me. It was 10am on pride parade day and my best friend and brother convinced me to come out to brunch. We were seated right away. We decided indoors as it was very muggy outside. Inside was cool and bright. The music was excellent. Hip hop, reggae, R&B and pop. There were 2-3 other tables inside and 2-3 outside. More people came as we continued to dine. The menu is slightly confusing as you can pay for boozy brunch or VIP boozy brunch. The difference being VIP includes unlimited frozen margaritas, sangria and sangrita and is $10 more totaling $35. Whereas the boozy option is just unlimited mimosa, beer and bloody mary's for $25. We were under the impression that entrees were included in this price. However you HAVE to order an entree if you pick one of the boozy options. So the price for the drinks and whatever the cost is for the entree. They need to make that clearer. For appetizers we had the lemon pepper wings and tamarind ginger wings. Both wings were crispy. The lemon pepper could've been better. The powder seasoning they used didn't stick well to the chicken and tasted like store bought seasoning. The tamarind ginger flavor was good. Too saucy. But I like the addition of fresh mango as a topping. It was served with bleu cheese. I loved the bleu cheese. It tasted house made and had chunks of blue cheese in it. The lemon pepper was served with ranch. I don't like ranch and the one served was pretty bland. The food was okay. I got the steak and eggs. It came with salad and roasted potatoes. The steak was well seasoned. Almost a little too salty but not quite. I asked for it to be prepared medium and they obliged. It was 3 pieces of steak not clear what cut. Never had steak and eggs in pieces. I asked for the eggs to be fried over medium. They were almost over hard. The salad was slightly wilted. The potatoes were good but the green peppers cut up in it were huge chunks and I didn't eat them. The onions were fine. My brother got the huevos rancheros. He added steak (additional $8) and shrimp (additional $8) the base price was $18. So total $34. He said the flavors were good. However it was too saucy. The tortilla got soggy fast. The dish comes with a crispy corn tortilla, creama, ranchero sauce, puréed black beans, 2 sunny side up eggs, cotija cheese, pico de gallo and a side of potato hash. He also didn't like that the shrimp were chopped up. So you really can't tell how many you received. Unacceptable for an additional $8. My best friend got pork belly hash. She said it was good. But I don't really think she liked it. As she didn't eat much and took the rest home. She only ate a little the next day. It came with pork belly, poached eggs, potato hash, tamarind, salsa verde and mixed salad. Priced at $20. The margaritas were exceptional. We had tamarind, hibiscus, coconut, mango and passion fruit. They basically just add a syrup to the regular frozen margarita. I don't know if the syrups are house-made or bought. But they all were very authentic to the fruit used. Coconut was my favorite. But they were all very good. My brother had a jalapeño mimosa which he loved. In addition to the margaritas we had shots of mezcal which were good. Though each shot glass were filled at different levels. Not cool when receiving for a table. Our server was Carolyn. She was excellent. Very friendly. Bought our drinks out timely and checked back sufficiently. Answered all our many questions. If I dined again I'd definitely ask to be sat in her section. Brunch is Saturday & Sunday 10 am - 4 pm. Last seating being 3:30. You have 90 minutes for boozy option. 2 hours total for eating. They automatically add 20% gratuity, no matter the party size. Our total was over $400 including tip. Our brunch bill was $271. Then when ordered additional margaritas and shots for $131 more dollars. The drinks made it worth it. We were all significantly inebriated. read more

So we decided to go to Miti Miti for our monthly link. We made reservations for 7:30 but once we got there it was so busy they didn't seat us until around 8:25. Then when we finally got seated and settled, the manager, who was really nice, came and asked us to switch tables. At first we were annoyed but, he gave us a round of drinks on the house, and where they placed us was actually a bigger table and more spacious for us. Once we got settled at our new table, Our waiter, Jody, was so great, very pleasant, smiled and laughed with us the whole time, and was just really good. Between him and the manager, the service was really good. The food was really good and filling. We ordered the yellow taco platter with 20 tacos. All of the tacos were so good and dressed really well. The appetizers and sides we ordered were also good. It was 6 of us, and even though we basically shared the sides and appetizers we were all stuffed.... The drinks were really good as well.... I will definitely revisit.
