    Beef Koobideh Beef Plate
    Emilyn A.

I would give the food 5/5 stars! The beef koobideh kebabs are so juicy, flavorful, and delicious and the rice is fluffy and buttery. I also really enjoyed the fresh salad! This is a place I'd happily order takeout from but wouldn't want to dine in- the woman taking my order did not greet me, ask if I wanted anything to drink, or offer bags for the Persian candy I bought from the grocery store. Hopefully the service can improve because the food here is phenomenal!

I bought food to-go. The gentleman who works here is very friendly and professional. He gave me some great suggestions. Customer service was great! I had to wait 15 minutes, but it was worth the wait and it didn't seem to take long. I forgot to take pictures because the food was devoured right when I got home. The family loved it! Delicious Mediterranean food at good prices! The restaurant is a cute little cafe to eat at, but I frequently see people taking food to go.

Wow! There's literally a large sign outside the entrance that says they'll feed you if you are hungry even if you don't have any money. I'm really touched by how generous and compassionate the owners of this establishment are. If all humans were like this maybe world hunger wouldn't exist??? This little cafe is modest but it definitely has soul. I would come back here whenever I'm craving beef koobideh, which is excellent. Many blessings to Mitra's Cafe!!! Xoxo

I went based on strength of reviews and ordered falafel plate for pickup. The falafel unfortunately were dry so I was disappointed. I heated the leftovers with water in the microwave the next day which helped, but still not good. What I absolutely LOVED about the place was this sign outside. We need more love and care in the world. For this reason alone I will go back.

We ordered the Gyro plate and Filet Mignon plate and it did not disappoint. The flavors are so amazing, the rice was perfect and my son was in love with the fries. This is one of those gem in the Murrieta Temecula area that is a must if you're looking for something authentic, cooked with that home cooking love, and want to enjoy our diverse local community. Mitra's is a must!!!

Rockin' Jay's looked at my weak soul and said "bet" -- then saved it in the best way possible. Counter girl hit me with a smile so bright I almost reached for sunglasses. The entire all-female crew was straight beast-mode at the open sandwich bar, slinging subs like they were on a mission from the sandwich gods. Atmosphere? Spacious as hell, proper New York deli that moonlights as a 70s rock dive -- screaming reds and greens, green booths, wooden tables, tiled floors, the whole retro package you see in the pics. The playlist was gloriously all over the place in the best way -- Contemporary Christian one minute, 2019 pop bangers the next, basically spanning six decades of straight fire. "Listen to your heart" came on and I damn near did while they built my baby. Every single pick was gold though. I ordered the 12" Capicola & Provolone ($16.69). I yelled "the works -- no mustard, drown me in onions and olives." They dropped an absolute beast of a sandwich... and it came perfectly toasted straight out the gate the way it should be. No sad "can you toast this?" negotiation. Golden, crunchy bread that cracks like it owes you money. Meat stacked stupid high, provolone doing its melty thing, then they buried the whole thing under an avalanche of fresh, snapping shredded lettuce and threw in those glossy peppers on the side like a mic drop. This thing is ridiculously messy -- oil dripping, lettuce flying, pure delicious chaos in every bite. Pro tip: there's no napkin dispenser at the tables, so you gotta go full scavenger hunt by the self-serve soda machine to grab your own stack. Worth every greasy finger and napkin raid. It fed this giant for two meals and left me still full, slightly greasy, and weirdly emotional. My spinach smoothie PTSD? Cured. If your diet has been as depressing as mine, stop torturing yourself and drag your weak ass here immediately. Friendly as can be, killer vibe, and subs that actually deliver. Tell 'em the tall smoothie refugee sent you. I'm claiming a booth next week and bringing stretchy pants... and maybe my own napkin stash.

Johnny took our order and was so friendly! Really great customer service. It was really busy for lunch, we ordered two sandwiches to-go and waited probably 15-20 minutes at least. So don't come if you're in a hurry, but it's worth the wait if you can! Both of our sandwiches were excellent, I ordered the roast beef and it had tons of meat. The Italian dressing they have is delicious. My husband ordered the Mafia and said it was just great too. The 12in sandwiches are huge, definitely plenty to split or make two meals out of. We'll be back!

I finally bit the bullet, when looking for a new brunch spot and this has definitely hit the mark for a bougie brunch experience. Yes, it was beyond crowded with everyone fighting for tables and a line for the one gender neutral restroom. Yes, the prices were pricey (beyond bougie, almost $28 for myself for a breakfast bowl and an iced latte) BUT, the service was quick, friendly and patient as we are first time customers. We were greeted upon entering and everyone from the girl who delivered our food to the one who cleaned up the patio, were just both of the kindest souls. Not to mention, the food was beyond PHENOMENAL! I had the breakfast bowl with bacon added, it was aesthetically beautiful and the flavors were mind blowing as was the coconut latte. My husband enjoyed his sandwich and jumbo cinnamon roll, while my kid claimed the cheese bread and marinara was the best he's ever had anywhere. We will definitely return, hopefully we can find the perfect sweet spot when it's not so busy. Highly recommend x100, amazing first time visit!

To drink we had the salted caramel butterscotch latte, biscoff latte, blueberry shaken espresso with lemon cold foam. Everything we had was perfectly delicious, all the right textures and temperatures and loved the flavor. The chipotle aioli and jalepeno crème dressing were my favorites. The coffee syrups are house made and taste amazing, not too sweet. The coffee tastes great, not too strong or bitter. To top off the great quality food and drinks, customer service and the indoor vibe is so warm and welcoming. The staff treat you so politely and are so helpful without making you feel like they're talking to you like you're a friend. It's decorated using nature like colors so it's a natural modern feel. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great coffee, food and pastries. There's also a cute bar to sit at for beer or wine or just to enjoy your order.
