The Miyo cafe is a place that I love to go to for food. I don't regularly eat breakfast food, I'm a lunch sort of person. With that said, their Miyo Skillet is amazing, get it with eggs over easy and a croissant. With that said, the lunch here is also great. Their patty melt is awesome, and their BLT with their potato salad is another one of my favorites too. The restaurant is a nice small spot where you can sit and talk with whoever you came with easily. The service is also great, the owner is always there and does whatever she can to make sure you have a good time. I'll definitely keep coming here. read more

A group of us just had breakfast at Miyo Cafe and we all agreed that it was a great experience. The menu is varied and everything we had was delicious! They go out of their way to accommodate you (I'm vegan and it took some work, but they made it painless and never seemed put out) and made the experience comfortable and fun. Read the good reviews so popped in for breakfast on Sunday. The place was hopping and there was a line to order (all orders are placed at the walk up counter though there is plenty of seating and they do bring your food to the table), but the line moved quickly. We ordered breakfast burritos of various flavors/meats (sausage, bacon and carnitas) all smothered in medium spicy green Chile and cheese. The burritos came out in about 10 minutes and were quite good. Not 5star good but 4 star good for sure (carnitas was the best imho). Definitely worth a look read more

To start while walking up only a couple people sitting outside when we arrived. A family inside and that was it. We walked up to the counter and waited for about 3-4 minutes while the staffed carried on their conversation and didn't acknowledge us or greet us. More staff walked by and didn't greet us. Finally a girl said what can I get you. As if we inconvenienced her. We ordered a burrito and my wife got the skillet. It immediately asks for a tip. Which I thought was odd as we hadn't gotten any food or service yet. We sat down outside and then lots of people started arriving with their dogs. Dogs were barking and a family was just walking around waiting for a table and acting like Vultures and you could hear them talking about which table they could take first. Unpleasant to say the least. A family of 4 that was behind us in line sat near us and they received their 4 entrees before we received our 2 entrees. Burrito had no flavor, but the chicken was tender and moist. Wife was not impressed with her skillet either. It's also self serve as far as drinks and everything. So they ask you to tip upfront. Now they are asking for tips just like a sit down restaurant that you are being waited on by a server and staff. They don't check on you, refill drinks, etc. We interacted with the staff upon ordering and receiving our food that was it. And they wanted to be tipped like a sit down with excellent service. This is not ok. Needless to say my wife and I will never return to this place. I would not recommended this restaurant. read more

This was the cutest cafe I've been to in a long time. We came I'm for breathing on a weekend morning, and it started to snow moments after arriving. I found a little table by the window while my husband ordered us a breakfast. The staff was amazing and friendly. We got a skillet with green Chile...love love love green Chile. We had service with a smile. And one of the owners came around and made sure that everything was perfect. I love the personal touch here. The food was fresh and flavorful. We got a lemon square to take home, which ended up being made by the owner himself. Loved it. I cannot wait to come back here soon. The food and staff are really worth the visit. read more

Fabulous food. We had a party of 5, so we were able to try many different items. The skillets were terrific, especially the green chilies that were used. The quesadilla was perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of crispiness. My daughter thought her chocolate chip pancakes were particularly good, as was her hot chocolate. Loved how warm and welcoming everyone was, making sure our food was prepared correctly and our drinks were full. The owner was especially friendly. We liked the atmosphere of the place, too. We discovered this place about a year or so ago and we've been coming here a lot ever since. This is a family owned and operated place, and it certainly shows. Many times the owner, Donna, is there and she shows personal attention to all customers - makes you feel more like a friend than just a customer which really makes a huge difference. I like that you order at the counter, no need to deal with checks later on. The service is always good and last but definitely not least the food is great. My favorite is the Southwest Benedict, made with carnitas and green chile but many other dishes are great too. Ahhhhh, breakfast at MIYO. Super popular place especially Sunday morning but the food is fresh n we'll done. Wife had a ham n cheese w/potato salad n I had 2 chorizo breakfast tacos/corn tortillas. Lettuce so crisp on the sandwich it crunched the next day! Potato salad was store-made n great! Corn tortilla was too small for a boatload of chorizo + ingredients! Had to fork half before folding n doin' the taco thang. Great fresh food! I just wish there was some more expedient way to order as the line to the register started outside n ordering took a good 20-25 minutes. Very popular place. First visited Miyo Cafe a month ago when we bought our house and now a month later, this is my go to place for a great breakfast and outstanding customer service. I have had the omelette with cheddar, spinach and mushrooms and it was delicious. You can totally tell that they use fresh veggies in their preparations. Today I had the skillet and all I could say was "Wow". The cheddar and turkey sausage really complimented the already flavorful meal. Where are all these good reviews coming from??? Not sure why they have counter service when they clearly had enough staff to give table service, but I could look past that. What I couldn't get past it was really bland a life was food. I got the two egg combo plate. The pancakes if you could call them that were dry, served with no butter and flavorless. I asked for crispy bacon and it came out burnt and tasted very old. You could tell they put it in the microwave to make it crispy and annihilated it. The fruit cup looked like some fruit they had cut up maybe a few days earlier. My grandpa got the juevos rancheros and it came out looking like a breakfast burrito. He asked for sausage, which definitely was just ground beef with some sort of weird seasoning added to it. We both couldn't finish our food it was terrible. Moral of the story, food was way over priced and you could tell it was poor quality. The good reviews are either wrong or they found the right crowd to serve flavorless subpar food to! read more

Went in for the first time today and had lunch with my family. The owner was so incredibly friendly and greeted us and talked to our young kiddos. She offered them little fruit snacks while we waited, which was so thoughtful and extremely helpful! LOVED the sign on the front regarding the wait due to being short staffed since no one wants to work because of all the government handouts. So true! It really wasn't a long wait though - the staff bust their butts and were so friendly and really were working hard! We had the breakfast burrito with chorizo which was DELICIOUS! We also had the taco salad, kids chicken tenders and a breakfast sandwich. All of the food was great! We are really looking forward to coming here again! read more

Plenty of parking especially if u come early for brunch. The family found something we each enjoyed: my daughter loved the kids pancakes, my son loved his grilled cheese with fries, my wife enjoyed her huevo rancheros, and I liked my omelette! Holy taco! I ordered two breakfast tacos, and was astounded of their mere large size. For $7 I got some loaded breakfast tacos including pico, cheese, egg, potato, chorizo, sour cream and salsa. I would have been full after one! This is a cafe style restaurant. Order your food at the counter and they will bring it out. Breakfast is served all day too. Hefty options of both lunch and breakfast. There are some veggie options as well. Plenty of coffee options including Italian sodas. The rest the of the prices were standard. About 10 tables or so. Restaurant is in a small "classy" outdoor mall setting, towards the back. Street parking is available as well. I can't wait to go back again! read more

This was my 11 year-old son's first Huevos Rancheros. The bar is set very high for all his future Huevos Rancheros. What a great find! If we were locals we'd eat here often. This was the second time I've eaten here and it's consistently delicious food. I have ordered the turkey bacon ranch wrap both times. The wrap is fresh with amazing mouth texture and feel. It's kind of funny because I'm not wild about turkey sandwiches but something with the bacon combo called out to me. It tastes clean and the lettuce is always crisp. Any time we travel from Denver for trips we'll definitely be stopping again because once you find something good more than once it's worth the visit.
