Went to Mizrahi grill for Father's Day. With my young grandchildren and 2 sons. They accosted our group easily. The service was excellent and so was the food. I got a mixed grill entree it had chunks of very tender beef. Chicken red and yellow peppers potatoes , onions and chicken. It was an excellent filling dish. The beef chunks were super tasty and tender and everything was well seasoned and super tasty ty. It was brought to the table super hot. Had to let it cool a bit. We also ordered hummus for the table it was very tasty hummus and a falafel appetizer for the table. They were very hot and tasty with a crunchy outside and tender inside. Excellent with a tahini sauce. Great ambiance and friendly service here. Nice market adjacent to the restaurant with an easy walk through. Man the pitas were great too very light and fluffy. Great food in casual setting, adjacent to the market if you need to do some shopping. Its my "go to" spot.

I was out with a group from Wisconsin for a field trip. Because many of the attendees keep kosher, this restaurant was chosen. The meal was served family style so don't go when you're not hungry. There was plenty of food and it was all delicious; hummus, warm pitas, Israeli cucumber salad, eggplant salad, falafel, rice, green beans, shawarma, and coke or Israeli juice beverages. I loved it all! It was amazing to share a meal family style, make new friends, and eat really delicious food. I'll definitely go back and bring friends to this great venue. The party room was more than enough space for our in group and when I got done I shopped for a kosher candy bar in the adjacent grocery store! The staff is super friendly in the restaurant and store so if you didn't read Hebrew, ask for help! Nobody will shun you! Enjoy the experience of great food, great people, and a great venue. My cousins were visiting from Philly who keep kosher. I asked around for some good options to go out to eat and was told Mizrahi, Nuovo, Crunch, Shallots Evita or Milts. I looked them all up and was pleased with so many amazing options and started to kick off our weekend of fun at Mizrahi Grill. We walked in and my cousins and daughter were excited about the attached market and asked if we could shop there a little after eating. But first food.... We placed our orders and then waited at a table for them to bring us our food. While they were super friendly, it wasn't the fastest service and we were waiting for quite a while. Finally i went up to confirm they were working on our order and it appeared a few minutes later. It was worth the wait because we all agreed it was delicious! I had ordered a kebab sandwich on a laffa, which was stuffed with israeli salad, hummus, tehina, pickles and french fries (the best part). It was all so tasty, especially the laffa which i'm pretty sure they make in house. It was also ginormous. I ended up taking half home and eating it for dinner. The rest of my party enjoyed their sandwiches as much as I did. Before leaving we shopped for some treats at the market, including a $20 dubai chocolate bar that my kids have been dying to try thanks to tiktok. They split it for dessert later that evening and all 3 of them agreed it lived up to the hype. I just visited Mizrahi Grill for the first time since they moved into the old Anton's Fruit Ranch space. I know it's been a long time for me, but it was nice to try it. Mizrahi Grill is now split into two sections, the grill and the market (see review of that space). Let me just say this: there are lines in the parking lot to show parking spaces. Why people can't seem to follow the parking spot lines are beyond me. So I parked in a different aisle not near any other car as those dopes couldn't park at all. We arrived for lunch and the place was jumping. Which was great to see as so many places are empty at lunch time. I ordered the chicken pita sandwich and the Xlemente chicken soup. The soup was really good. Not salty at all and had plenty of chicken pieces and not too many vegetables. I then had the chicken pita sandwich. I am not a fan of all the stuff they put in it, so I just had it with lettuce and mustard. The pita is probably the best pita I have ever had. The chicken was grilled nicely. The food smelled wonderful and tasted even better. I'll have to return and order other items. My lunch partner had the hummus, pita, Jerusalem salad and more and there was just so much of it and he said it was all really good too. This was our first trip to Mizrahi Grill since it moved across the street inside Mizrahi Market. This is a kosher Mediterranean restaurant, casual, no hormones, using fresh ingredients and spices. So it takes a little longer and costs more than fast food. You order at the counter and they bring out your food. I had a pub purger piled high with grilled onions, lettuce and tomato. The fries can be inside the burger or on the side. The burger was tasty and juicy. The fries were thick and square cut and perfectly crisp outside and tender inside. My friend enjoyed the falafel pita with fries inside (although very messy). Fairly quick, good and fresh tasting food. Would come back for baba ghannouj, a burger, or to try other dishes. Insane prices for mediocre food. It's $30+ for a shawarma entree and nearly $20 for a shawarma sandwich. I don't mind paying expensive prices for good food but this wasn't anything special. Four sandwiches will run you close to $125 here. The food is excellent, but I believe there's greed -flation at play. The community that frequency the grill I'm guessing has little to no problem with the pricing. For others the pricing becomes preclusive. The food is great and it is kosher for everyone that keeps Kosher. Their certification is from an authority is known all over the world so if your have guest is from New York or New Zealand when you tell them it is Kosher CRC they will know it is a place they can be 100% confident they are complying with the dietary laws. read more

I have been doing a lot of traveling and was not in the mood to food shop and cook but was tired of "quick food." A quick search for "halal" lead me to this restaurant. The food was so wholesome!! It was like having a home cooked meal at a restaurant. I got the Yemenite chicken soup, chicken and thigh kabob entree (grilled veggies and rice) and laffa (to try something new) I was pleasantly surprised to find a cucumber tomato salad included! Went in to place a to go order. Order taker/cashier was nice and friendly, efficient while kibbitzing. Let me try a soup in a teeny tiny cup so that I could decide if I wanted it. Food came quickly and made on the spot. It was packaged nicely so no worries about spillage. The place was busy and most seats were taken, a very good sign. A popular kosher medditerian restaurant that favors authentic food. However, it does walk the line of quality and price. This is the most expensive medditerian restaurant I had in a while, and most people agree with that even if they are a fan. I got recommended this place from my boss because it tastes like the authentic stuff from Isreal, according to him. Although there is a slightly different taste, I can't say it is noticeable to me. The portion size is quite large. Depending on your appetite, you can realistically share a Laffa wrap. I personally had a bit of trouble finishing my sandwich. Great if you had skipped a meal. They have outdoor seating during the summer. Which is not only great for the weather but this place does get packed on a Thursday evening. You could tell it is popular enough to fill up the entire place. Overall, I can't say I enjoy it for the value I pay for, but it is for the people that are willing to pay extra for the authenic flavor. read more

They close early on Friday, so by the time I ate the food it had been refrigerated and reheated - Usually the death of good food. Not the case here. All but the falafel handled this less than ideal treatment of food well. The pita was just as fresh and fluffy and pillowy as it was when it was picked up at 2pm. Everything else tasted great with the pita. Anything would taste great with the pita. Except the falafel. Skip the soggy falafel if you are not going to eat these fresh. Also, the price is the standard high markup for kosher certification. If you know, you know. If you don't, be prepared for sticker shock. read more

I ate at Mizrahi Grill for the first time June 12. The falafel pita was really good. It was packed with falafel and Israeli salad -- there was no skimping here! The pita was served alongside an extra piece of falafel -- the presentation was nice. The tahini sauce was flavorless -- I would have liked a dressing with better flavor. It's pretty good middle eastern kosher food with the food being a little over priced with a laffa sandwich costing 15.99$. YIKES! Fortunately, the ingredients in my shwarma were really good with a nice hot shwarma meat mixed with cold fresh veggies and tahini hummus and spicy sauce topped inside a warm delicious laffa bread burrito (reminded me of the laffa bread in Israel- sooo good!!). Also, the massive burgers with soft fries tasted good, but the fries could have been a bit more crispier. I liked the kick they had for the spicy sauce I asked for and was well needed for it. When I come back, I would like to try Mom's Kabob which has lamb and ground beef and probably would have been a bit better than the sharwma itself. I have no experience with ordering, communicating with the restaurant or any serving staff. Based on food only, and colored by my usual low expectations of the area kosher options, I was shockingly surprised by how much I enjoyed this meal. The pita bread is so good, that I believe you could put anything on it and it would be good. As a vegetarian, I had a falafel platter. The string beans were excellent. Good hummus. I liked the cabbage slaw. The falafel balls were mostly cold and soggy by the time we got them home, but again, it didn't matter, because once in that fluffy divine pita, truly delicious. Seriously, just get some of their freshly made pita. No matter the cost, or the hassle, the pita is worth it. 5 stars for the pita. read more
