Mizu in West Windsor is a Japanese restaurant serving sushi and other Japanese entrees. For dinner we started off with crispy gyoza and seaweed salad followed by a lovingly (hehe) arranged Valentine roll with shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, and avocado wrapped in heart-shaped soy bean paper. Mizu is a casual spot to enjoy some delicious and affordably-priced sushi in the Princeton area

Great good and great atmosphere. I was quite shocked in the location, but once inside it's a very well put together Japanese restaurant. The miso soup was great and warm, the options for sushi rolls and cut are vast. And the tempura ice cream was a little hard, but still good. The staff was tentative to filling beverages and food came out fresh and quick. I would eat here again.

My goodness, their food was good! My boyfriend's pork was easily the best fried pork we've ever had at a Japanese restaurant. He hated that they put a paper doily under his pork though. We understand it was to absorb grease or for decoration but it took him a few minutes to pull all of it off of his food. I recommend they just leave that out of the dining experience. My chicken teriyaki was great too. Our only complaint is having to ask twice for basic things such as a straw or utensils. The ambience is modest yet serene. We probably wouldn't eat-in again due to the questionable service but we would definitely drive those extra miles for take-out. I only took one star off because the food is superb.

I keep it pretty simple when it comes to sushi, but I really liked this spicy yellowtail roll. Also tried the lava roll but my fav dish was their rock shrimp. It was still so crispy even with ordering takeout!

Had a huge tempura craving, and Mizu gave me my fix. Their unique sushi pizza is a handful of sashimi on a scallion pancake and it's super delicious. Their tempura wasn't super crispy even though I ate it within 10 minutes of picking it up, but the taste was still good. The rolls were also your standard spicy rolls, had a tiny kick, and were satisfying. Overall really like this place if you only have one or two things you're really craving, and their food is good quality.

Kenny performing precise knife work behind the sushi bar. More sushi for American palettes atop, below fresh fillets of delicious fish.

Fantastic fresh sushi! Simple perfect sashimi for the delicate palette or Americanized rolls with bolder flavors. Great kitchen entrees and appetizers as well. I'm always treated like family here! Have ever and always had exceptional meals and conversations at Mizu! ***Survived and thrived doing a magnificent take out business during COVID, now opening up for sit down service...following all appropriate guidelines.

3 rolls for $12 for lunch! It also comes with salad and miso soup :)

All of the above were true, and the food was quite good too. Each of us got a lunch special w/ Thai Basil Beef, and it was a good dish. I enjoyed the wonton soup and side of rice too, and it was a really great price for all of that. Service is pretty fast and friendly; the waiter switched our soup orders by accident, but when he came back to bring more stuff, he noticed when we had switched them, which I give him some credit for. Everything is nice and fast, no issues there. Inside, it's a pretty good amount of space, and nice decoration throughout. My friend and I both thought the door to get from the foyer into the restaurant had a really nice design. Everything in there is clean and nicely put together. Men's room was clean too - not very big, but good enough size.

Thus, while service was reasonable, a person shouldn't assume anything about anyone: not these days, nor any era. To give each customer the benefit of doubt is the most basic of refined manners. The food, however, is well prepared and fresh in quality. The restaurant does seem to cater towards a more elderly audience based on the presentation styles and music choices. While the vegetables and shrimp dishes were clearly fused from different cultures to some extent, the fried rice might have had a bit too much salt as diabetes is on the rise these days--so we tend to choose lighter salt in meals. The pricing could also be more reasonable for simple and traditional choices.

There is a microwave in the shop which is very convenient as well. The shrimp shumai was soggy but flavor wise it was good. A few minutes in an air fryer to get that crisp back and they'd be delicious! Theres also a large assortment of refrigerated drinks like juices, sodas & teas as well. I tried the matcha love sweetened green tea which was very good and refreshing. I just kept going back after eating one thing after the other to try something else. I meant it when I said I became a fan lol. I picked up a mini packaged cheesecake (more like a cheesecake bread than a traditional creamy cheesecake) which was a great dessert to end it on. My first time at Haru Grab & Go was great so of course, I came back for another spicy salmon roll and a kani salad which both tasted good and kept me satisfied. 5/5!

If these system issues are persistent, there should be a temporary process in place to ensure orders are communicated to the kitchen. The staff were already aware of the problem, which suggests this isn't a one-time occurrence. Management needs to address this so employees aren't left dealing with frustrated customers because of a known system failure. The staff apologized and offered to rush our order by moving it ahead of the others already being prepared, but by that point we had already been waiting 40 minutes, had children waiting in the car, and it was getting late. We ultimately canceled the order and requested a refund. This experience wasn't about the employees, they were courteous and tried to make it right. The issue was the lack of a reliable backup process for a known system problem, which created an avoidable inconvenience for both customers and staff.

That is what you get when you get great eats at Terakawa Ramen. As you enter, you'll notice the wall murals with the chefs on one side and the opposite wall has anime customers slurping their ramen. Yes, it's perfectly fine to make those loud slurping noises to show your appreciation for a great bowl of ramen. Here's what was ordered: - Signature Terakawa Ramen - 4.5/5 stars Boasted of rich, lovingly homemade pork bone soup with a good amount of sliced roast pork, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, ginger, scallions, and a jammy egg. The straight thin noodles were al dente. They maintained their texture in the broth, brilliantly. The broth was deep and flavorful. - Pork belly Donburi - 4.5/5 stars The juicy tender pork belly was plentiful, sliced perfectly as their we're not too thick nor paper thin. Their flavor was rich, savory with a balance of sweetness from the soy dashi sauce. Elegantly layered in top of a humongous bowl of seasoned rice, along with a sprinkle of scallions, pickled radishes, and sesame seeds. The photo on their menu does not do it justice. I would have loved a jammy egg to be included to bring the dish to the next level. - Gyoza - 3.5/5 stars 5 pieces of Pan-fried gyoza dumplings with their dumpling sauce. I would prefer them to have been fried a bit more. The balance between their pork and cabbage was even. They were delightfully light in both taste and texture. The service was very good. Both Willie, the owner, and a charming waiter named Sung served us. Sung kept coming over checking in to attest our cups were full, and if we needed anything else.
