In regard to dental work all the assistants are nice and Dr Lee is amazing and very understanding. She explains everything and checks on how I am doing. So 5 stars for that as well.

It was easy to make the appointment and I filled out all the intake forms/questionnaires online which saved me time. My consultation was thorough and Dr.Neal was very informative, friendly, and answered all my questions. He put my mind and nerves at ease. Most importantly, my teeth are CLEAN. Seemed nice on the first call explaining my dilemma and he compensated a cleaning I was turned away (to get at first when they only told me when I got their my insurance doesn't cover it after I spoke to them the day before to confirm appointment) for the inconvenience. He acted concerned and said he will make sure any other service ( my root canal) will be discount and make sure I'm happy because "Money didn't matter to their practice". Now that's when I should have ran to the reviews to see if they follow what they say, and believed my gut... cause he was overly nice. Red flag That was then when I erased my attempt to yelp thinking it would be what he said. The jokes on me. Following week I then got my cleaning by the Hygienst that I like they set up another root canal counseling, which even he was confused why I was there. The story wasn't gonna change on what I needed and he really didn't do anything but agree with what was said in my file. I then came back to the front and the quote I got was more than the first one. The same girl I have a dispute with had a dismissive attitude, tried to smile thru it but neglected the point of being there. I asked is this discounted she said yes ( which it wasn't as I have my other statement from prior) and then I left out having to go back in to mention the appointment I needed to make for next appointment. I asked why didn't you finalize appointment and she said cause " you didn't seem you wanted it". That was not true as when she asked me did I want to set it up I said yes we just got into the discussion about the price and Mario. Instead of her referencing back to it to confirm she was dismissive like mentioned earlier. When I left I called Mario to share the in counter that he said he would make sure he would talk to front desk about previously as a follow up and he didn't answer. In that call I left a voice note explain in case he was out of town and he didn't return my message. With in the last 3 months I have phoned and left messages 8 different times and he refuses to address where we left off to correct what he said he prides his will to make sure customers are happy cause he would want that to happen to him and his family. My son and I were inconvenienced and had to make different trips back just for her mishap several times as I minimize the encounters because clearly the other clients have bigger problems than I do. I'm just glad I didn't give them my money. They got what they needed from insurance. Guess I was pushed out of there practice like other customers on here I see where but silently. The way Mario has handled me makes sense why the mask on their office seems nice at first unlit it's not and then they are passive aggressive. I hope this awareness brings clients to know their worth and money should be more valued than this.

It reminded me of a car dealership trying to upsell customers on services they don't actually need. It's unfortunate because this office used to provide excellent service, but that no longer seems to be the case. It appears that many patients are immediately encouraged to get deep cleanings regardless of whether they truly need them. I would advise others to seek a second opinion before agreeing to costly procedures here. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

My wife is the patient at Smile Design Studio, and I accompanied her to an orthodontic appointment…read morethat was extremely disappointing. She was scheduled to have her rubber bands changed and a fallen bracket replaced and was excited to get blue rubber bands. While driving home, I noticed her rubber bands were still the same color, which seemed odd. When I asked, she told me nothing had been done during the appointment. We called the office and were told that because they failed to order the replacement bracket, they chose not to do anything, claiming it would affect tooth movement. This explanation didn't make sense--leaving old rubber bands in place without the bracket already affects treatment. Other orthodontic offices told us a broken bracket should be addressed within 48 hours, yet this office was willing to wait almost two months. The orthodontist is only available one day per month, so common issues cause long delays. On top of that, the manager, Ruben, was rude and condescending when we asked reasonable questions. I regret choosing this office--we only did so because they were handing out flyers while I was at Sonus in the same plaza, not because of the quality of care. In emergencies, the orthodontist's other office is in Bakersfield, which is not practical. I do NOT recommend Smile Design Studio.
