A very chill vegan spot with a extensive menu. We ordered the buffalo caliwings, Philly cheese steak egg rolls, and the "chicken" and grits. I am a big meat eater and I was very satisfied with everything I ate. Our waiter was very attentive and gave good recommendations for our order. There were a lot of options on the menu that I would like to come back and try.

Perfect place for great vegan eats! Came here with friends to enjoy some cool drinks on a hot Summer day in Houston! My only gripe was the restrooms which looked liked they had not been touched in a while, they definitely needed attention. We did arrive close to their closing time, so perhaps cleaning the restrooms was somewhere on their closing task list. Nonetheless, I selected their Iced Latte, initially it was a bit too cinnamon-y, but they were able to fix it for me and it turned out delicious! Shout out to our Server Derrick who was putting in double-triple time with serving our table and others, preparing our drinks, graciously correcting issues with our orders, while having other tasks to handle. They appeared to be short staffed and dealing with a customer issue at the same time. Derrick handled everything in stride. He was patient, kind, and gracious through everything! Hats off to you, Derrick! Thank you! This place is worth checking out, nestled right in the heart of the museum district it is a cool, vibey place to visit especially when your food preferences call for vegan options! Enjoy!

I was seriously blown away from start to finish. The inside is on the smaller side, but they do have outside seating and a parking lot. Each server I interacted with was nice and helpful. I started with the Foxy Brown which is a spiked coffee with sake. I was a little nervous but it worked so well. You could still taste the sake and the coffee was well balanced. The hot coffee in the style glass was a little odd but not a deal breaker since it wasn't too hot to touch. The sandwich was amazing! I still can't believe it's vegan. The server brought some strawberry jam since it's a popular ask and I have no complaints. I'd definitely recommend to give it a try!

An update if I may? Thank you, thank you! Stopped in today, 11/14th for lunch and to my surprise (I was not surprised for real), Mo' Brunch & Brews still hits! The vibes and the jams are immaculate as usual. Real groovy like. Chefs kiss! Derek was our server and he did a wonderful job of ensuring all was well. He was pleasant, attentive, and approachable. Ask for him upon your arrival! I'll always return so if you're reading this, you should do the same!

This place was wonderful and I love it still . The mushroom and grits was amazing .. The PYT was way to sweet and didn't have any alcohol I doubt lol The boudin balls were 10/10 very tasty . Never had one . The service was great except it takes super long to be services and for food to come . The wait is long as well and the heater should've been on near the waiting area as well . Ambiance is cozy , warm and just niceee . They food is really delicious. Will come again if in the area

Mo' Brunch + Brews-- Houston, TX @Mo' Brunch + Brews I finally got to try them out & Friday nights there are a vibbbbbeeee!! I never had Traditional Boudin. & I especially never had Boudain Sushi Rolls. This was our appetizer! They were so delicious! It had Panko Breaded Boudin stuffed sushi roll, drizzled with Cajun remoulade and unagi sauce. My entree was the Cajun Croissant which was Boudin Rice stuffed croissant, topped with mushroom cream sauce through & through! This was the entree that I wanted since stalking them online. & it did NOT disappoint whatsoever! It was sooooo good. Boudain tastes like dirty rice to me! & I also ordered the Smoked Kale Salad to- go and it definitely came in handy that Saturday lol. This salad was soooo good. I have to make it at the house! It's Kale tossed in Ranch dressing with Kalamata olives, tomato and bacon bits. Everything was delicious and every bite was packed with soooo much flavor! The live music was such a vibe. I will be coming here every time I'm in H- Town for sure! #Houston #Blackowned #LiveMusic #VeganEats #Boudin

Most of my food was pretty good. Just took very long to finally get it. The outdoor seating was also very enjoyable. I probably would not come back. Vegan food is good, but half of the foods that its supposed to replicate are fairly different and it throws my taste buds off. I couldnt finish a few items, mostly the the ones with the orange cheese sauce. Maybe had it been used for something else and not cheese sauce maybe I would like it. Also my food took a veey long time. Awkwardly long for grits and a smoothie. When they were maybe at or under half capacity. However I did notice other tables getting their food well before us so maybe it was just our order. I would however recommend this place for vegans as the restaraunt its self was pretty solid.

100% vegan menu! We went for brunch a few weeks ago, and I'm still craving their Boulevard Burger. Yes, a bit odd for me to order at 9am, but I wanted to try their version. And let me say, I've had a few cravings since. This classic burger of theirs - topped with caramelized onions, smokey mayo, and cheese - reminded me of the 90s iteration of J&TB Ultimate Double Cheeseburger. That's not a dis... that's a huge compliment. I haven't eaten red meat in almost 10 years, and I miss that specific burger. But Mo' Brunch & Brews took me back! The fries were great too; very crispy. (And they reheated well in the air fryer back home.) The beau had the "lump crab" gumbo (made with lion's mane mushroom); he ate the entire bowl. We also shared the truffle mac (again, made with lion's mane mushroom). Love being able to have some of my favorites, but cruelty free. For brunch, they also featured a mimosa tower; I'll have to try that next time. I do wish there were a few more gluten-free options (like swapping out the bun), but this was a great way to dabble into foods I normally can't/won't eat.

Mo' Brunch and Brews has been on my list for a while and I was not disappointed! All vegan brunch with a nice vibe? Yes please! The restaurant is cozy. Not super big, but a decent amount of indoor seating and more covered outdoor seating. I was greeted immediately when I walked in, and offered water even though I was picking up to-go, A+ for customer service! The food...delicious! I ordered the breakfast sandwich on croissant and an original pancake. Both were easily the best I've had. The house breakfast sausage stole the show! I'm not a fan of processed vegan breakfast sausage, so it was a real treat. Can't wait to return and try something different on the menu!

I finally got around to visiting Mo Better Brews after eyeing it for over a year, and I was not disappointed! The menu is entirely vegan, and while I'm not vegan, I found everything to be delicious! The portions are large yet the prices are fair. My friend and I shared the açaí bowl and three breakfast tacos. The tacos sported their chicken fried mushrooms, truffle hash, and sausage and egg. Everything was great, but the hot honey fried shrooms were definitely the standout. The patio was spacious and inviting. I could see where it would be a cozy spot in the evening! Our service was attentive and friendly, which really enhanced our experience.

I popped into the brunch spot Bruzed for a light afternoon lunch, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a saga. I got there and faced a wait of nearly 20 to 30 minutes, but fortune smiled on me! A reservation got canceled, and just like that, I was in. I ordered the tacos with fries. The fries were pretty ordinary, but the tacos were a nice little surprise, full of flavor. The staff were super sweet, keeping the good vibes going, even while the place was buzzing. Parking is a dream since there's a convenient lot in the back, but naturally, it was full, and I ended up parking in the street. Still, all in all, it was a lucky break and I'll definitely come back for another bite, hopefully with less street parking drama next time!

A group of us (3) came here to try out their brunch. Upon arrival (1015AM) we were told it was a 30 minute wait - so we decided to wait. Unfortunately, while waiting a rainstorm breezed through and extended our wait time. We finally were seated, outside, at 1145AM. We had great customer service from our waiter, Derek, and didn't have to wait long for the food. I ordered the Shrooms and Grits flight and added Breakfast Sausage. I didn't too much like the sausage as it didn't come out hot (temp) and was a little too crumbly. The grits were cooked well and I enjoyed the crunch of the mushrooms on top - my top flavor was the hot honey. The best item was the drink I ordered - PYT. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Overall, I came here because my friend is vegan and it's a spot where she could eat. They could improve on their RSVP system and timing once you're seated to eat/drink.

Found this place near the area we were in and excited by all vegan menu. FYI- not healthy! Many fried things. We knew this and I was excited. Our server was wonderful and we ordered a variety of food. My kid got the blackberry mojito as a mocktail and it was delicious. Only got a couple of pics in as the family was hungry. We sat outside and it was nice. Inside looked cozy. If we come back to the area, we will try to come out and eat here again!

    Are reservations needed?

    Not needed

Is there anything on the menu that can be made allium-free?

As I am not aware, this is something you should call and see.

Are you able to work from a table like a lot of other coffee shops?

Yup I believe I saw those narrow tables against the window facing the small parking lot & outside in the patio as well with fans facing them. Just keep it mind, it does get a bit crowded and rightfully so because their food is that good!

Are pets allowed in the patio dining area?

No pets inside the establishment. If you need to grab a to go order, prepare to have you fur friend wait on the outside.

Are reservations available for Friday night dinner?

Everything on the menu is vegan?

    Yes! And amazing!

There is a matcha restaurant right next door (called "Isa"), make sure you aren't standing in line for that one, make sure you go inside the actual restaurant (unlike us). They have a kiosk that you can order from and have a pretty extensive menu, so many flavors, sauces, and customization add-ons. I went with the classic Buttermilk Fried Chicken & Waffle Sandwich Deluxe (add-on) + HOT Honey substitution (add-on), side of regular fries, side of White Cheddar Mac & Cheese. We didn't go during a busy moment so it took only about 10 minutes for them to make our order. Their sandwiches are to DIE for, I would recommend you ask for your sandwich to be cut in half. The chicken was fresh, sauce was sweet and flavorful, they put the right amount of sauce along with tomatoes, lettuce and other add-ons. My rating of the sandwich is 9.4/10, it is literally the perfect sandwich if the sandwich wasn't disintegrating on me, but I think that is a good thing, wouldn't want a crunchy waffle sandwich. The mac & cheese was also very good, would give a 8.1/10, if they crusted their mac & cheese, it would be 10 times better. Would also recommend a bit of a kick, but it complemented the meal pretty well. All in all, this was a great place to stop by for lunch, they had a patio that we sat outside and ate at on a beautiful day. The front cashier was very helpful, walking us through the entire menu and giving us his best recommendations, definitely bettered our experience. For the quality of the meal, the pricing is also very reasonable as well. I would recommend if you are around the area, to stop by and enjoy a meal at this establishment. They have another location as well, which I didn't know (hopefully quality is consistent across the board because quality was great during this visit.

When we were finished with order a young guy came out and asked if we had any questions. We said no, but a lady came up and asked for whipped cream. The young guy explained you had to order it with your meal, the gues explained she didn't see it on the screen, .. it went ON & On. .. finally the woman said could you get it for me??? He. .. pretty much acts like "no", he could not. Telling her she had to order on screen. She had to pay for it. The seriously patient customer is going along with all of this. .. she was being SO patient! At one point the young man even starts to tell her that he doesn't think it s whipped cream. .. I m thinking surely there is a camera somewhere hidden. .. This truly has to be a joke?!! At this point, I m frustrated that I wasn't filming this UNBELIEVABLE scene. I had to quit listening. .. I did not time this interaction, but it definitely spanned several minutes! Eventually I saw the kid bring her the tiniest of tiny portion cups ( no lid) that I can only assume was whipped cream or whatever concoction the employee thought it to be. .. I m still in shock to have witnessed this absurd scene. After we sat for awhile a young female employee came out . .. a forefinger and middle finger each inside holding 2 cups in her fingers. She looks at our receipt and says did you have 1 or 2 drinks? My husband says 1, but I wanted water. She releases her finger from one cup and turns with one cup back to her spot behind the scenes, making no reply to my husband. I m wondering if she was on the phone with an earpiece? She spoke loudly in a language I did not understand for the majority of our visit. .. Eventually, my husband mentioned maybe music would be nice? Help muffle her loud constant chatter? At one point she did come out sweeping the floor for a few minutes, but the entire time we were there, I did not see anyone while tables or clean up at drink/condiment station that was messy and sticky. Amazingly, enough We LOVED THE CHICKEN WAFFLE SANDWICH! but this is a poorly run restaurant, that needs a staffing fix. .. I m truly guessing family run business. I m hoping for whoever owns this, that they catch on now & fix things before it s too late. With frustrating service, and my sanitation concerns. .. I will try maybe once more because it truly was good food. But if it isn't any better I will not return again & I don't think I m alone.

Despite its location, it's surprisingly a quiet place - just some pretty light foot traffic in the morning I came. The waffle dish of choice today was "The Rancher" - a play on Chicken and Waffles as a sandwich, featuring syrup, powdered sugar, and ranch on the side. It was a truly creative choice, and it had many highs to it. The chicken was fried well, and the waffles were quite fluffy. However, I wasn't the biggest fan of the ranch and syrup together - maybe it's just personal taste though. The sandwich was also a bit small for the $14 price point - I left definitely wanting some more food in the belly. Overall, not a bad place.
