    Tour of Italy

We went for the never ending pasta and it was good for the price $14.99 plus $4.99 for protein. My husband ordered the Tour of Italy. The chicken Parmesan wasn't salty and delicious. The lasagna and Alfredo were good. They added two new items to the never ending: spicy Alfredo and crispy shrimp frittata. Both delicious! Our server was nice but forgetful. We asked for dressing on the side on our salad but it came already mixed. She also messed up on one of the pastas.

This is just a review on the soup to go. We ordered a bucket of minestrone and it was basically a bucket of beans! The first few bowls had some vegetables, but take a look at the pic after a few bowls were dished out!

My husband, daughter and I enjoyed a surprisingly smooth Valentine's Day dinner at Olive Garden this year. We joined the waitlist online and were seated immediately upon arrival - impressive for such a busy holiday! Despite the packed restaurant, our food arrived quickly. The Tour of Italy offered a perfect sampling of their classics with well-executed chicken parmesan, lasagna, and fettuccine. The Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara featured perfectly cooked seafood in a creamy sauce with a nice smoky touch from the bacon. Their classic Fettuccine Alfredo was rich without being heavy, and the Calamari was surprisingly tender with a light, crispy coating. Our server was attentive and kept the famous breadsticks coming - a big hit with my daughter. The restaurant struck a nice balance between Valentine's Day atmosphere while remaining comfortable for our family dinner. For a chain restaurant on one of the busiest nights of the year, Olive Garden exceeded expectations with efficient service, good food, and generous portions that gave us next-day leftovers. A solid 4/5 stars for making our family Valentine's dinner special without breaking the bank.

Finished my plate it was so delish.

Had a great meal here tonight celebrating a veteran in the family. We had delicious hot fresh food. The service was excellent (thank you Connor ). The staff were all so nice and polite. The hostess stand was very efficient. Restaurant was super clean and it wasn't too loud inside. You could still have a nice conversation without shouting even though the place was packed with a 45 minute wait. We joined the online wait list so our wait was not very long once we arrived. Great meal. We had a very nice evening here. As you can see I really enjoyed my 4 cheese marinara and angel hair.

Endless soup and salad! The best!!

I visited for Saturday dinner. It was busy but I didn't have to wait for dine in. The server was friendly but we had to wait for a while to get the service and didn't come back often. But overall I like Olive Garden! If you order any entree, you can choose either soup or salad and it's unlimited refills. I always choose soup and my husband chooses salad so we can share both. Also you can change the soup when you asked for refills. I tried 3 soups total out of 4. Lol. I like all soups I got, and the salad is the best!! Garlic bread sticks are good too. I ended up taking my entree to home because I was already so full before the main dish. I enjoyed the visit and i would come back again. Total we got 2 entree with 1 beer and 1 wine, and total price after tax was around $60 before tips. It was good value!

7th Sister - "The Misses" Chicken Sandwich. Buttermilk-brined, perfectly crispy, and layered with house pickles, aioli, and a drizzle of Old Bay Honey.

I have eaten here before, both outside and in the main room and have always been impressed on how nice the restraunt looks. The decor is nice without being distracting. The lighting is perfect and everything is clean. The bathrooms are always clean and well stocked. The staff works together as a team. Domingo takes his job very seriously and it shows. He is a proffesional. He will make suggestions, answer questions and if needed he will ask the kitchen about any diner's concerns. Leah also came by to see how we were doing. Leah is always looking around making sure the dining area is clean, and that diner's have all the appropriate flat and glassware. She is fastidious that everything should be right and in their place. The food was excellent!!! The food is delicious and unpretenious. The Chef offered a brunch menu that looked fantastic. If I hadn't snacked before going to brunch, I would have definitely gone that route. I had the frittata with the breakfast potatoes and it was delicious. I really appreciate that the food is properly seasoned and that the flavors are not covered up by a overpowering sauces. The portions are fair and there is real value for money. Everything is served at the correct temperature. In closing I really enjoy 7th Sister, because there is a real effort to provide great food, with great staff in a wonderful atmosphere.

We came back to Seventh Sister for the brunch menu on the 4th of July…read more I can see the potential for this place but right now it's unfulfilled. The decor is oddly dated, and when we came in it was dead silent inside. It was hard to even converse without feeling like the whole staff would be listening. My wife was pregnant and we asked if a dish could be served without the roe to make it safer for her and were told it could not. The food we ordered was decent but there were just too many flaws for me to give it a higher rating at this price point. The beef tartare was flavorful but cut large; it should be a very fine cube. The fried chicken's breading was barely adhered and falling off, and it was suffering from a serious dryness problem that would have been solved by more sauce/vegetables. The "hash" on my plate had approximately 3 pieces of pepper/onion and the rest was quite large chunks of potato. I'm told the eggs Chesapeake were pretty good. For 25% less money this would be a 3.5 still. As it is, flat 3.

I had the Indonesian Stir-Fry with added grilled chicken. The sauce was peanut-based, with lime. I chose a bed of Soba (buckwheat) noodles. I enjoyed the umami flavor of the sauce with the tangy and full flavor profile that makes the dish a joy to eat. I plan to return to The Orchard on my next trip to Frederick.

Thankfully, my server did allow me to substitute the sesame chicken into my Cobb salad, and that was actually a great addition. The frustrating part was that after we had already finished our meals and were ready to leave, my server came back and told me she had been mistaken and that they did, in fact, have kombucha available. At that point it was too late, and unfortunately there wasn't any offer made to make up for the inconvenience. Another disappointment was learning that The Orchard does not offer any type of military appreciation or support. In a community with many veterans and military families, that was something I noticed and found disappointing. Many other local businesses make an effort to show appreciation, and that kind of support goes a long way for those who have served and for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The food was good, but with so many other options in Frederick that offer great food while also making customers and the community feel valued, I don't think I'll be returning. A business's connection to its community matters, and supporting those who have served is something I personally look for when deciding where to spend my money.
