It is located near Rally Pickleball and has a variety of delicious Greek items at reasonable prices. The interior is cozy too. The staff was incredibly friendly and gave us great recommendations. We tried the ham and cheese pastry, breakfast gyros, and Greek coffee--all were delicious! The pastry was so flaky and flavorful. They also have their own parking lot and stay open pretty late on some evenings depending if there is still customers. Highly recommend checking it out! read more

Updating my review since we went in recently for dinner, and they've changed the decor and vibe of the restaurant. Now it's open until 2am and trying to capture more of the bar scene. Although I was sad to see the pretty decorations go, the food menu is solid and affordable. And it was practically empty on a Friday around 7pm, so very chill and quiet if you're looking for that. We shared the large Greek salad with falafel added and the Athena Greek pizza. This was the perfect amount of food for the 2 of us. Staff were friendly and attentive. DO NOT ORDER FROM YELP! I ordered on here and they said that they do not do online orders anymore. The menu prices are also about double what you see on Yelp as well. Yes the website is offline so I expected they were another victim of COVID but it's not so. Mocco is open and rocking! I stopped in mid-June for a double espresso and an egg/cheese croissant. Espresso was excellent and loaded with caffeine. The sandwich was tasty and made to order. Yum! Comfy space with tables and nice chairs. Music is too loud for laptop work but fine for a meetup or lunch date. There are also a few tables outside with umbrellas but it's alongside South Blvd traffic. On my way out of Charlotte heading to Greenville I passed this Bistro and made a u-turn. There was no dinner crowd mainly due to it being 4:45pm! I sat at the bar and was properly greeted with some small conversation followed by recommendations. I started with the Greek Dish and settled for the salad and chicken over rice. The salad was enough to feed two and I took my time enjoying the salad and watching a show on my phone. Not once was I rushed and best of all I was able to enjoy my salad at my pace without the entree showing up and having to decide leave the salad or let The chicken and rice get cold. Nice job pacing when things were prepared and brought out. To my surprise I was served a plate of pita bread, 3 sauces and something delicious wrapped in I'm guessing grape leaves . The chicken and rice was absolutely phenomenal and would recommend to anyone. It was moist and the rice was a great complement. About half way through the chicken and rice the chef came out and wanted to make sure I was enjoying the magic he had created in the kitchen. So talented and everyone works together to insure you are enjoying your meal. I have enough leftovers for late dinner(since I ate at 4:45). Came here on a Tuesday morning to grab a coffee and a quick bite with a friend. From the jump, the man working the counter was friendly and helpful with recommendations since we'd never been here before. We kept our orders pretty basic, opting to go with egg and cheese sandwiches (one on a bagel and the other on a croissant) as well as two black coffees. The sandwiches were delicious and extremely economical! Look forward to frequenting this spot again. Across the street from Zack's Hamburgers on South Blvd. I could camp out here all day! I was first impressed by how nice the air conditioning is. Then noticed how much food and drink they have. Free wifi. As of this review they've been here three years. Soy and almond milk for coffee! All kinds of pastries, cookies, baklava. Greek specialty pies and salads. What a find! We needed a cup of coffee and something to eat and my friend who lives in Charlotte took me to this little spot. It's on a busy road, so I almost didn't see it when we pulled into the parking lot. I cannot believe the quality of pastries and breakfast/lunch items that were available. I had a cappuccino and an omelette (no pictures because I just started eating). The lunch special was meatloaf with stewed green beans (I ended up going back the next day to have lunch again!!). I also tried a pastry called a Napoleon and it was light, flaky and absolutely perfect. They also offered a lot of hand pies (spinach, cheese, ham and cheese) that looked amazing. Ohhhh I love this little coffee shop. When I first saw it go into it's location, I was like "oh no...that's an odd place for a coffee shop"...but then I realized....with all the development going up near that light rail stop at Scaleybark...this location is golden. Not much for parking, so I'm curious how this will play out when more and more people start coming. Yes, it's sandwiched between a 4Wheel Parts store and a copy center. I have a jeep..so I feel as though it was made for me. LOL! When you walk in, you really do feel like you've been transported to a different country. So cute inside. Their cake is moist and is not overwhelming sweet. I also like their cold mocha. Again, it's not too sweet. It has a perfect combination of coffee and chocolate. Yummy...I tried their famous napoleon. It was delicious, especially the custard part which was not too sweet. I didn't like the powered sugar though, made the dessert really messy and was too much in my opinion. Had a latte to go along with the treats.
