Review #876 Posted on 4.26.25 I came to get some dessert & decided to also grab a coffee with boba, ube foam, & cheese foam on Saturday the 26th. When you come inside, you notice that these 2 spots share a location, you get the best of both worlds here, what's great is you can order from either menu and combine items from either menu and pay together. Mochinut is the new wave/in thing right now for sweets, & especially donuts. These places are perfectly setup to serve this stuff togo, you're in & you're out. This spot is located on Amador St in Hayward really close to the 880 highway, & Jackson St exit. It's directly across the street from the Safeway shopping center on Jackson right off the exit. They had about 11 different flavor options to choose from today. Flavor choices were chocolate, strawberry, matcha, cookies n cream, fruit pebbles, pandan/coconut, churro, Funnel cake. These things are extremely tasty, and you can pound them down pretty easily, gotta be careful when you start tackling em down, not easy on the L-B's. I'll keep stopping in here to grab some togo.

Come here every so often whenever I'm this side of town. It's worth coming here every single time. Yummy food not just mochi doughnuts . Service is great. The ambiance is great, nice clean and a lot to look at on the menu:

In Hayward. Located off of Jackson /Amador. Off of San Mateo bridge/92 when driving into Hayward. The Lees laundry mat complex, Behind the Oil changers. Across from the Safeway. Used to be Lees sandwiches. It is now a hosting MochiNut , LA CA bakery, RiceDog Korean type corn dogs, Vietnamese sandwiches , Vietnamese coffee & fruit or boba options. Came in for my TGTG pick up & was pleased with what I received. While there I ordered a coffee and a mozzarella dog & chocolate croissant. About $20 for all Parking is difficult due to laundromat bustling on a Sunday afternoon.

LOVE this place. I always try to go first thing when they open so I can get the Mochinut warm and fresh :) love the variety of flavors every time I visit, and the staff is always so friendly. They also have good music playing inside lol

It's been a while since I went to Mochinut, which is probably around two years ago. Also keep in mind that it collaborates with another joint called LACA. I haven't tried Mochinut in this location, but probably tried LACA. The atmosphere is ok, not really fascinating though. However, the rice dogs tastes good though. Unfortunately, they don't sell boba just like most locations like the one in San Mateo, but heard that they recently closed. You may want to go to other Mochinut locations if you want boba from it. The service is ok, but would have been better if they have better approaches on interacting with customers. I get that they're busy, but being a little more nice would have been more appreciative rather than having a low tone.

Food is super yummmy! I got the grilled chicken sandwich, potatoes cheese stick, and an oat milk matcha with honey boba. The food is fresh! The drink was perfectly sweetened. YUMMY PLACE. The customer service was fast and good. Ambiance is cute, loved the lights and how spacious it is. Will definitely recommend and will be coming back! :)

My kids have been wanting to try Korean dogs. I finally got to take them and check it out. I didn't even realized we had a spot in Hayward. This spot used to be Lee's Sandwiches. Its now LaCa Bakery/Mochidonut. Its pricey in my opinion but you should try it once. I did like how their Korean dogs were more plump and bigger compare to another competitor I went to. We did come about an hour before closing so the Mochidonuts was the last batch and were stale. I feel like their mochi donuts weren't very good. I would pass or head to another spot. Ordered half a dozen at $17.00. I ordered what was left which was pandan coconut, black sesame, red velvet, cinnamon, and cafe sua da (Vietnamese coffee). They all had no flavor of what it was labeled as. The Vietnamese coffee one was close but the biscoff biscuit was stale. 5/5 Potato dog was legit! Big beef hotdog and the potato cubes were fresh and hot. Not greasy at all but it is bland so I wish they would serve it with a sauce or offer ketchup or mustard. 4/5 Hot Cheeto cheese was fresh and we got that cheese pull fosho but you have to eat it quick or it hardens and doesn't taste good. It also kept slipping off the stick so at the end we just had to pick at it or eat it with a fork. You can also order it as half cheese half dog if you please. Its definitely a fun snack to enjoy but is filling. The brown sugar boba didn't look like the picture on the site. It was way too sweet and I wish they did sugar levels and maybe they do but they didn't ask. Not much parking since its shared with Lee's laundromat. Overall if I have a craving i'd come back or maybe try out their banh mi's.

On ig we saw my daughter & I free dog. We signed up the dm us right away. December 31.2022 last day for free dog. Pouring down rain. I hate driving in the rain. But, we had a taste for them. Buy one get one free. I choose hot dog/cheese potatoes on the out side. Very warm & and delicious. Customer service was very good. When the young lady was cleaning. Very clean restaurant by the way. The other lady said take the order. I thought that was very nice. Instead of us just standing around. My daughter had the hot Cheetos half/half. She loved it. Even the next day she said it heated up very nicely. Didn't loose it's crunch nor did the Cheetos taste stale. I will be back I highly recommend this location. They also have so many good items for sale. Bring extra money lots of thins. Look at pictures. Have a great day!

I feel like depending where you go. This is a hit or miss . Maybe I'm spoiled when I go to mochill in Japan town San Francisco because they are fresh out of the fryer and freshly dipped so can't get better than that.--- but the variety of flavors that they offer are really good. My favorite one must've been the Vietnamese coffee.

Such a little gem here in Hayward, and becoming one of my go-to spots! When this place opened, I only viewed it as a mochi donut spot (considering the name). I was wrong! They have so much more than that including boba, banh mis, and KOREAN CORDOGS! Whaaat a Korean corndog place closeby to my house? sign me up! The banh mis are sooo good. The bread they use has great texture, its crispy and soft at the same time. The banh mis are a perfect size as well. I've tried the chicken and tofu lemongrass and both are SO good. The Korean corndogs are delicious!! They are made soo fresh. I tried the mozz/half corndog and potato dog. They give you the spicy mayo on the side which is so yummy. The drinks are also pretty fresh! The place is clean and decorated well. They also have different Asian snacks to choose from as well Definitely going to be my go to spot from now on!!

Such a cute little shop. We came for a graduation party in Hayward and this made a great gift. Loved all the flavors we got. Everyone's favorite was definitely the Churro Mochi doughnut, yummy!

Was craving something spicy and I just knew the hot Cheetos cheese stick would satisfy that craving. I do with that this location offered the after fry sugar or dipping sauces as well as the cute boba cups (the ones that look like cans) but the fact that it's local and saves from the 15+ drive makes it worth it.

This place has everything! Sweet, salty, savory! We got their Korean hot dogs (Mozarella hot dog, and Potato mozarella). And the roast pork viet sandwich and pork belly viet sandwich. All of these were soooo yummy. The hot dogs were super cheesy and probably the best Korean hot dogs I've ever had. The potato one hit the spot forsure! The sandwiches were also very tasty and they add more sauce than other places usually do but I personally loved and preferred it. The pork belly sandwich was my favorite. I would love to come back here and try their large selection of foods and drinks.

    Gluten free options?

The employee told me that the donuts are gluten free but not the hot dogs.

My ONLY complaint is that occasionally my drink is made with regular cow's milk rather than the oatmilk I specify, which gives me the runs ALL FREAKING DAY. Dunkin' Donuts is usually considered a treat for me, especially when I travel. When I found out…read morethere was a Dunkin' Donuts in the East Bay, I had to check it out. This location is kind of tucked away within a plaza, not the best location for this spot. There is free parking available, with several accessible parking spots up front. Inside, the place was generally clean and has plenty of indoor seating. This location has a self-order kiosk, front desk kiosk, and mobile pick up orders. I came after noon on a Sunday and they only had 1 chocolate covered donut left, which the worker said this was the last one (basically implying there weren't anymore coming, but he was wrong). Fast forward to eating the donut, it tasted dry and not fresh - a big disappointment. I also ordered the 6pc hash browns, a croissant breakfast sandwich, and another donut. The only thing that tasted good were the hash browns. The sandwich was burnt and overcooked! Why the 2-star review? The service was not top notch. The front house staff looked like he didn't want to be there, was on his phone, and was basically checked out. The other team members preparing orders did not do well too. One couple before me had their breakfast re-done at least 3 times, and in the end made my order come out later. The quality control for their food line is lacking and needs to improve. I don't think I'll come back any time soon unless it's in another state.
