The cons are a lot of flies, especially in the bathroom. Dead flies in the bathroom soap, flying in your face in the bathroom, lobby has clean tables but dusty floors and windows with many dead fruit flies, large flies, and insects. More than 20 dead flies. Luckily in the lobby they don't fly in your face like the bathroom. I notice the front door states to customer please keep it closed so maybe some it is the area and out of their control? I still sat inside for a while and finished my drink in lobby to stay out of the sun for a bit and so did other groups. Staff was hard working. Seemed a lot of online food orders they needed to complete and that they prioritized. Tea Addicts has good menu options and it's a good tea spot in the area near the buses and the Whole Foods.

If I had to identify a weakness, it would be that a lot of times it seems like they have supply chain issues. They did not have lactose-free milk when I visited the past few times. The texture from the taro balls was super unique and as someone who will always, always choose ube and taro when given the option, this combo deserves to be everywhere. More people came in and I did not want to hold their line up so I said very clearly I didn't know what was going on but I'm not getting service right now and asked for one moment. After stepping aside another employee approached the two VERY young children and told them something I couldn't hear. I directly asked her what she just said to them and she responded by asking me if they were with me (they're white and I'm not), then said she was telling them my payment didn't go through. This was an interesting question because there were very few customers in the store when we walked in and we were the only ones at the register just moments ago. As I'm still on my phone, telling this new employee I just explained the situation to whoever was at the register, I hear her explaining to everyone in line that they can't take any orders because they're still waiting for me to pay. Money was never the problem, and it's unfortunate the things I intentionally wear when coming to U village, to avoid being judged by businesses like this, couldn't assure you that.
