Slow service.. Not sure what these employees are doing. They need to hire people that know what they are doing .

As other Yelpers have noticed, the amount of cross-contamination going on here is astounding. During my order alone, I witnessed the beef tongs get cheese out of the cheese section and then return to the beef section. NO ONE was wearing gloves or hair nets. The cashier went from the cash register to doing food prep without washing her hands (her hat, incidentally read "Lit AF"). Employees freely roamed around touching everything in sight (including food) with no gloves or hand washing. Management should really consider doing something about this before the Board of Health gets involved AF. read more

Second time at this location and second time experiencing very poor customer service. They rush you, they are not welcoming and friendly. They do NOT know their food ingredients and allergies. I asked which meats were gluten free. The girl said "all of them, it's a meat". WRONG. Some meats such as sausages, pepperonis DO contain gluten. I've been to another pizza franchise similar to mod pizza style where their meats did have gluten so due to that experience this is why I specifically asked. I said well can you ask someone to be sure? This is something you all should know. It's a pretty big deal. None of the other employees knew. They all said "uh I'm not sure." I didn't wanna take a chance on their uncertainty so I just opted for chicken. So heads up to those with celiac. Be cautious. I did check their allergen info on the website and according to their info, all of their meats are gluten free. However, every employee working there should be well versed and confident in their knowledge. The employees were all very young, probably high school age and couldn't really tell if any of them were a manager because there was an obvious lack of professionalism. Delicious location for build your own pizza. The major factor that puts this above other pizza places is the fact that there is one price by size despite number of toppings. Adding every topping you want can increase the price significantly at other places, but I loved getting to be creative and add whatever my heart desired for my pizza! The format for ordering is similar to a chipotle/subway where you choose your size and toppings and then get called once your pizza is cooked. Despite there being a longer looking line, we got through the line in under 10 minutes and our pizzas were out 5-6 minutes after that. My pizza was delicious after getting to choose all my toppings-- my only reason for giving 4 stars was while the outer half of my crust was perfectly crispy, the inner crust was slightly soggy. I will definitely be back when my next pizza craving strikes! read more

I love MOD pizza. What I don't like is burnt pizza. This location has a habit of burning pizza. I request every time please do not burn. I do not like any black. This request has only been done once. I pay for the pizza they should make it the way I like it. Isn't that the point of making your own pizza. The staff was very argumentative with me, so I requested a refund. Wish was done. Going down hill fast! Been a few times and tonight was a total disaster. Other experiences were good so I hope things change back to where they started. First the super unfriendly person who built my pizza wrote the wrong name on my paper and seemed to be doing that repeatedly. Lots of names being called out for pizzas with no takers! Confusion abounds... Waited 20 minutes for pizza to bake... and when it finally came out for "Jeff" (not my name) it was burnt to a crisp. Others burnt up as well.. Not wanting to wait any longer, I asked for a refund. Surprise! The "manager" said systems are down and he can't give me one! He takes my name but I doubt I'll see the money back. He did apologize but made excuses saying they weren't "planned" for today whatever that means, yet there were tons of employees there. Kitchen area very dirty with staff standing around and no organization or leadership evident whatsoever. Some were texting. I have to mention the older gentleman working there.... he's been there since the beginning and boy does he work hard. While the other employees, including the manager, seemed to be accomplishing nothing fast - he was doing it all - including saying "welcome to Mod" over his shoulder while pressing dough! He should be the manager - I thought he was. Bottom line: wasted 30 minutes, no pizza, and NO refund! Given what I saw I really wonder if the food is properly being handled, kept cool, etc. Done with Mod for now. Beware! read more

I would say this place is the Subway or the Chipotle of pizza. You pick all of your toppings and watch it being made. I've eaten here a few times and it was always tasty. This place is great for lunch or for a quick dinner. read more

My experience at this location was a little different than the other ones. Took my dad here for the first time and the workers didn't really walk him through the whole thing since he was a first timer. My pizza was good as always though. The problem here was we ordered a pizza to go and the wait was over 20 minutes. First time we came up they gave the pizza to the wrong person. Second time they had dropped the pizza. Our next meal when we come is supposed to be free so we will see how that goes.... read more

Just adding this review to say please bring back the previous Mega style. It had a unique tooth feel with the two layers with the sauce and cheese between the layers. The pressed dough of the new style is totally unremarkable. It's not thick enough to be true thick crust and all does is add an extra ring of bread around the perimeter. Not something I'm willing to pay an extra $2 for over the MOD default. Toppings and customer service are still great, although I noticed the disappearance of parmesan and red pepper containers and was not impressed with being offered packets. Raise prices slightly over compromising quality if you have to do so. read more

I absolutely love MOD and have to stop myself for wanting to drive in their direction now that there is a location five minutes from my house. Just like every other MOD I've been to, the customer service is great except for my last visit. For one it was a Saturday and pretty busy so I'm not sure why no one was refilling missing items on the line. Despite that the guy kind of enough to get cilantro. While he went to the back, the other work frustrated and annoyed that I was waiting and just blurted that they were out of cilantro all together. That was so unnecessary but whatever. I showed up exactly at 9, an hour before closing. First of all the person making my pizza was going too fast, rushing me to pick my toppings and was getting very agitated with me all bc she had to "make a call". I'd have rather waited on her phone call to finish rather then her rush and make my pizza. Let alone the cross contamination and the ingredients being splattered everywhere including the floor. MOD Pizza is a great new addition to the area. It's similar to chipotle or salada with an assembly line of fresh ingredients. You pick small, medium, or large and all toppings are free with no up charges. Good prices. My medium pizza was $9. They have wheat and white dough, tons of meats, sauces, veggies, fresh herbs and of course CHEESE to choose from. There is a brick oven that cooks the pizza at 800 degrees in like 3 minutes. They also have several beers on tap. Friendly staff as well. Basically if you don't like your pizza its your own fault haha read more

The pizza was great. The employees-- not so much. The girl assembling my pizza would speak unreasonably fast and catch an attitude when asked to repeat herself. The cashier, an old guy who looked like a manager was even worse, he angrily tried to "educate" my friends and I when we told him what pizza we ordered instead of what size. We tried this for the first time. Its casual, you go through the line and order pizza as you want it, which is nice. It's affordable and there are 2 sizes to pick from. Our online order was ready in about 20 minutes. Service was friendly and the ingredients fresh. It's thin crust and yummy !
