I absolutely love MOD pizza! The ingredients are fresh and the options are endless. You can also get delicious milkshakes and salads. I tried the garlic sticks and wasn't happy. Not sure if they were just overlooked but definitely not my favorite. I've never had an issue with anything until recently but I won't let it affect my review. One of the workers had an absolutely terrible attitude towards my friends and I as we were waiting for our food. I guess she didn't want us to stand and wait and told us we could go sit down and she'd call us once it was ready. Her tone of voice was unacceptable. read more

This was my first visit to Mod Pizza. There's nothing fancy about this spot. However, if you're a pizza lover and is looking for a quick place to eat for lunch. This is it. I ordered "the jasper" which consists of red sauce, mozzarella, mushrooms and spicy sausage. I added some black olives and dried red tomatoes. The crust was thin and the pizza was cut into four slices. It was just enough food to fill you up, but not make you sluggish. Look to spend a minimum of $8 which isn't a terrible price for lunch in the Galleria area. read more

Excellent gem we stumbled upon. Happened to be in the area and other YELP reviews were so great, we couldn't pass it up. I'm glad we didn't either! Excellent price point. Get as many toppings as you like, your cost is determined by the size pizza you pick. I loved the Tristan but also added extra ingredients as well, which was not a problem. My husband and I shared a side salad, made with all of our favorite ingredients which was plenty and I indulged in their lemonade, which I highly recommend as well! The staff members were all helpful and pleasant for it being our first time in. The cashier also said all of their veggies are organic and they use vegan whenever possible. Awesome place. I had recently tried Hot Toppings, which has the same concept as MOD and they are both fabulous. This place is very nice and spacious inside. very cool! Compared to Hot Toppings, MOD does have a larger selection of spices and toppings to add to your pizza. Now, i have to say, the cheese and bread there is a little yummier there than here in my opinion but still delicious. Also, they use a fire pit to cook the pizza whereas HT uses an oven. Both cool and super fast! HT is cheaper too (not saying that MOD is expensive because it definitely is not) so that would be my go-to! Nice people and atmosphere, clean restrooms, and great service! read more

YUM! My first time at this location and I loved it! It was packed on a Friday night but the line went fast and the people working there were kind & efficient. Our custom pizza (All kinds of random topping I chose) came out amazing! ($8) The kids of course got to draw on a sticker and place it on the wall with the rest. We love the pizza and service at this MOD Pizza. Our order may have taken a little longer than their usual quick service last night, but it was worth the wait. It was slammed last night because of a pizza fundraiser and the employees did a great job and made our pizzas perfectly. For me, one of the best things about this location is that they support the community with pizza fundraisers for area schools and are heavily involved with Generosity Feeds, of which helps to feed thousands of people every year. Great pizza... when you get what you order, Husband just got home with pizza's we ordered online, so there really is no excuse for getting it wrong. Double checked the receipt and sure enough, it's flat out wrong. Not just a left off topping or something.... we both ordered the Dominic (has cream sauce), ended up with a plain pepperoni pizza and another pepperoni and chicken pizza. Tried to call but it went to voice mail so now I'm writing a review because I'm becoming more and more pissed off as I eat this. First time we ate here it was awesome, the second time we got burnt pizza, and this time just sucks. read more

OMG we just had the worst experience at this location ever. We've been to this location many times since we first heard about this place. Enjoyed it every time until tonight. My wife and I stood there for a good 5 minutes waiting with NO acknowledgement. One girl was making pizza and the other girl turn away from her station to press 4 pIzza came back to her station when someone gave her a bunch of take out orders. She look at the order, again still not acknowledging us, then turn around and press 6 more pizzas. Came back and start making the Togo orders. We ask if she is doing the Togo order and not taking our orders? She said there is only two of us here and that the Togo orders come first. Said that if the people shows up they will have to stop anyway. WTF really? Togo order is more important then people who is actually there in front of them? WOW!!!! Any way my wife said ok we go somewhere else. I came back in and ask for a manager and the cashier said no manager there. Ask who's the manager and asked for their number there. Should have known, they don't no their own number there either. While standing there watching the girl make 2 pizzas for the guy in front notice that the cross contamination. Don't know how often the changes gloves there but I hope no one get a reaction from them not changing gloves after the stick their hands in everything and then make someone else's pizza. read more

I come in a lot for lunch. Love the concept and the staff is extremely friendly and generous with portions. I will say that there is some inconsistencies with cooking with some pizzas getting burnt and some undercooked but overall great place and proud to be a regular. I finally went today. Really good. The chicken was identifiable unlike Hot Toppings. I am uncertain how Hot Toppings has such good reviews. Im starting to question if Yelp allows businesses to buy reviews. Mod was good and worth the price. The toppings actually stay on the slightly charred crust as long as you dont add too many. Tasty.. I have gone to Top it and Blaze and I think Top It and Mod are the best customizable pizza places on this side of town. The price point is similar to all competitors and its larger than 8 in in size. I will be back. Dominos prices for better quality. Also the cashier was super great. She informed me about the sugar cane sodas which were very tempting but I dont drink soda however she made it extremely tempting. The employees are really friendly and I enjoy the atmosphere. The pizza is pretty good but some of the flavor combos aren't up my alley. I definitely recommend trying it out at least once. It takes a while to bake your custom pizza so don't go if you have less than 30 minutes to eat. read more

I've had MOD on three occasions and have been satisfied every time. I get a bit overwhelmed by all the options so I have ordered their specialty pizzas, specifically the Calexico (basically a buffalo chicken pizza) and the Caspian (BBQ chicken). The pizza is really good, especially at that price point. The only complaint I have is that I have ordered online on two occasions and when I have gone to pick it up, the pizza was nowhere ready.
