Downgraded review from 5 stars to 1. Went to this place almost weekly for Friday pizza night with the family. Then on one visit I noticed Rich, "the manager" wiping his nose on his sleeve, walk into the back, blow his nose and then not wash his hands. He subsequently handled food without washed hands or gloves. When I asked him not to handle or cut my pizza, he laughed and did it anyway. I asked for my money back and left. It's rare to find a place with so many options to have food that has all around great taste/quality. To also be reasonably priced is even harder to find (it takes a lot more than 8$ for me to be full, unless you're talking cheap fast food ). Here, I get full and feel good about myself because of the fresh, healthy options they have. The taste is superb. The quality is so fresh. The environment/staff are great and efficient. Yet the most important thing to me, the reason I went out of my way to write this review: the options are friendly to ALL diets! Tried this for the first time. I see it all the time while I drive home from work so I decided to go ahead and give it a shot! GOod choice on my behalf cause this pizza was off the chain for an AMAZING PRICE $8 for a Mod Pizza (Medium). I can say this is kind of like a subway in the way that you are behind a glass and you can just order whatever you want on it. Unlike subway though the toppings are FRESH!. Once you pick all the toppings you want they throw your pizza in a brick oven in the back of the room where you can continue to watch it cook. Everyone there seems to enjoy their jobs and treated everyone extremly nice. The pizza tasted great! Was fresh and perfectly cook. This is thin crust pizza so it had a nice crunch to it! They have quality ingredients which leads to excellent pizzas made. Everything from the roasted broccolini to the roasted garlic was flavorful and not overcooked. The broccolini still had a crisp to it. The roasted garlic cloves were not soggy. The spicy sausage has great flavor. I only wish they add ricotta to their cheese selection. When they put the ingredients on the pizza, they take the time to space out the ingredients evenly which really makes a big difference in how the pizza comes out. I like that they have some items you can add after the pizza comes out of the oven. My favorite addition is the pesto. Who doesn't love more garlic?? I rarely order anything besides water to drink, but their lemonade looked so good so I gave in. I'm a regular here as the pizza is a good size (11 inch for mod) for a great price ($7.47) and the service is pretty good. This is a build-it-your-way type establishment where you pick either a salad or pizza and then go down the line adding veggies, meats, herbs, etc. designing your entree to meet your taste. They have everything from pepperoni to chicken to black olives to crushed garlic with sauces such as buffalo or ranch or Bbq. I recommend getting the mod size pizza with basil pesto and white sauce and then adding toppings as desired. Try out one of their very thick shakes too if you're having a sweet craving. read more

Had their smallest size pizza with asparagus (!!!), roasted whole garlic cloves (!!!), basil, mozzarella, Asiago and tomato. I have been dreaming of the garlic ever since. I think I'm going to try the Alfredo, mozzarella, mushrooms & roasted garlic cloves next time. The basil should really not be put on the pie before it goes in the oven, though. Womp Womp. I have to say I was surprised with how amazing this restaurant is the first time I tried it. Not only are the pizza recipes on the menu well thought out and tasty, but the ability to completely customize a pizza with any ingredients for the same price is music to a customer's ears. Also, being able to customize any of the menu pizzas as well for the same price is just the cherry on top - no, cherries are not actually a topping option. The prices are VERY reasonable, in my opinion, and they seem to realize the value customers place on quality and freshness, and it shows, even down to the dough balls they roll out and bake for the crust right in front of you. Btw, I have been known to eat a lot, and more than once I have not finished a mod size pizza in one sitting, so the price you pay is really for multiple meals. Mod pizza was some of the best pizza that I have had in a long time. There are so many pros to Mod Pizza 1. Same price regardless of toppings 2. Fantastic quality of toppings 3. Oven fired crust. The crust was super thin and super crispy even with a 20 min drive home after pick up. It reminded me of pizza I had in Italy. Simple clean and fresh ingredients on a super crispy thin crust. 4. The Simple Salad. Roasted red peppers, Asiago, and mixed lettuce. This was a fantastic salad to have along side pizza to make sure that everyone got their veggies. It was simply dressed and all of the ingredients came together beautifully. 5. Lastly. THE ICED TEA. I love iced tea. I make it snobbily myself and I low key rate the restaurants around me with the best iced tea and this rates very high. Also they have "sonic ice" to go with the tea. I mean. The iced tea is enough to make this my default pizza place. So you may be asking with this review. Why 4 stars instead of 5? For my pallet the pizza and salad were overly salty. And I had placed the order online and when I first arrived the order was wrong and had to be fixed. These are small tiny errors. I am very conservative when it comes to 5 stars but if anyone was going to get one it was mod pizza, especially this location. First off the concept is great, create your own pizza and modify any existing menu items all while not having any extra charge regardless of how many extra toppings you add. The sizes are good and the quality is even better. I have been here a few times and the service is excellent and the pizza is ready made in a short time so waiting isn't really an issue. The pizzas range from many flavors thanks to their rich selection of toppings which really make the differences that much more satisfying. My pizzas have been consistent and not cold or burnt and that means a lot. They not also taste good but always look amazing as well. As someone who loves pizza I hate the lack of consistency some places have whether it's the amount of sauce or cheese or temperature the pizza is cooked at and I can tell you this place is consistent. This place is def casual but can def be a great date or take out option if need be. Try the Dillon james as that is one of my favorites. Also on a side note since I don't eat meats like pepperoni I asked them to change gloves and they did without a question and a smile. that meant a lot to me and my wife, extra points in my book for this place. Every time I go to MOD the staff greet me and the atmosphere is laid back. The pizza is amazing, I love that the crust is thin and all the ingredients are fresh. And the price can't be beat. Also, the chocolate shake is delicious, it's similar to the frosty at Wendy's. My husband enjoys the root beer float, which you can kinda customize.
