This was one of the best pizzas I've ever had! They let you add all the toppings you want and has a super thin crust that is very crisp and tasty. I like the fact that it's not super loaded with calories, which is good. The service was fantastic, and the ambience of the restaurant is like a great little pizza café . Also, the cost of my son and I had to eat was better than most places anywhere around and had pizza leftover.

I haven't had MOD pizza in about 6 months or more and decided to come to this location due to the high reviews. Seems like many new faces since I last stepped in here but I absolutely love their customer service & cleanliness. We came to dine in right as it started to get busy for dinner and I must say I was impressed with his great this group of workers worked through the rush, greeting ppl walking in they managed to still go around to clean tables & ask customers how everything was etc. Shared a MOD thin slice whole 11" pizza with my toddler and we really enjoyed it. Will definitely make this our go to location.

I frequent this lication often and normally don't have any issues with dine in or carry out.. tonight I decided to order a salad through the web site. Basically you pick what you want and whay kind of dressing you get. I go puck it up bring it home and btw I purchased the biggest salad for $16. The container was half full. And a piece of the core of lettuce was in my salad! I won't order online again and am sad that I have basically a mod sized salad but it cost more :(.

Garbage Pizza, way overpriced and hardly anything on your pizza. And they usually always overcook it or burn it in their ovens. Don't waste your time or money. If I wanted to eat some bread with sauce I would have just eaten at home by dipping some french bread into some pasta sauce. I'll stick to my homemade pizza where I know I'm going to get quality ingredients and a good amount of toppings.

This place never disappoints! They verbally greet you, also does the specific pizza dough/crust aroma, a yum-o. I adore the no name cakes but wanted to talk about what I think may be over looked? THE SALADS; you can walk along having the very friendly Mod Rep adding as much of all items offered that will fit in your Mini, Mod, or Mega/Family sized bowl. Currently practicing Whole 30 eating its some place I can still go to eat with or bring home to my family, YAY! This last visit I mobile ordered a Mod Create Your Own Salad. Ingredients shown on the slip pictured, I believe? It was so fresh and flavor packed that I did not even use dressing. For 10.98 at this location in Puyallup on 1/06/2023 I feel competitive price. I pay the same for a Cobb at Denny's and grocery store salads can not even compare to this quality though they cost less. Next time you are hankering for a good salad be sure to give Mod a whirl.

I love how quickly the food gets done. We didn't feel like we waited very long at all and we were still given a free MOD pizza for our wait. Anyone can eat here, there is gluten free options and vegan options as well. They also have beer and wine on tap. read more

The flavor was ehh, but it was cold & very skimpy on the toppings. The thin crust was small & hard. The vegetables were cold, didn't even see or taste a white sauce. Overall disappointed. We will not ever order again! read more

I like the pizzas here, because they aren't greasy and the crust is light. I feel like I ate something reasonably healthy when I'm done. I have only been to Italy once, but I ate a lot of pizza there and these are actually more Italian than most pizzas we eat here. read more

I am a frequent Mod goer, this is the first time I've been to the MOD in sunrise village and my experience was not good. Ingredients were no where to be found, the service was decent but the pizza was the worst pizza by MOD I've ever had. Do not recommend, go to a different MOD if you are in the mood. read more

My Fam and I tried "MOD Pizza" for the first time via take-out and was very happy to see a cheerful, attentive, knowledgeable and warm-hearted young lady named, "Alexa" and just as pleasant and warm-hearted, knowledgeable and efficient young lady named, "Niyah" greeted me as soon as I walked in. Oh my God, the delicious smells of the fire-roasted pizzas were intoxicating and all the ingredients, including the work space and dining areas, were clean. We especially loved the "cauliflower crust" option and tried 5 of their different individualized pizzas: and loved all of them. We will definitely be coming back to eat here. In town visiting family, took a quick trip to the closest shopping center. My girl got hungry so we dipped into the pizza place. You can't go wrong with pizza in her eyes. Service was fast & friendly. We're pretty simple folk so a mini cheese & chocolate shake is what we got. Ok so...YUM! The crust was a perfect blend of crunchy & chewy. Pizza was incredible! Made to order and customized any way you like! I couldn't believe how many toppings gave me. We split a pizza, but that didn't stop them from putting 6 lbs of toppings on my half. I'm not picky so I got everything...and I mean everything. It was a meal for the ages. Only knocking a star off because the line is always out the door and I'd be lying if I said I don't contemplate leaving 10-15 times while waiting. Hopefully you are more patient than me when you go and you will go : ) read more

Terrible service on Veterans day. My husband and I went in there for their bogo but one get one for Veterans. I presented my VALID MILITARY ID and the employee at the register said, "ok." I put my card away expecting to pay. The employee then asked if anyone in my part was a Veteran. I said yes that's what ai just showed you. I then pulled my ID out again. The employee then said'" I don't know what you do for work." I then replied with I just showed you my ID but my husband served years ago. Then all of a sudden validation that a MAN my husband served with NO VALID ID was accepted for the promotion. I'm appalled at the discrimination. No man i'm sure would have gotten this but me a female, makeup on and hair curled with a valid ID could possibly be a vet..... educate your employees MOD. this was unacceptable. I was embarrassed in front of the line of ppl. unacceptable read more

Good food and love the inside atmosphere but the Puyallup South Hill location is always packed and their wait time is always like 30 mins off. We called in a order last Friday with their automated phone system as their online system wasn't working. We were quoted 30 mins, which for a Friday I thought was typical. So we waited 30 minutes in the parking lot when right as we were about to go get our food they call to say theyre running behind and it's going to be another 40-60 mins! They asked if we wanted to wait still and apologized as they were really busy. Of course, I declined due to the fact we'd already waited 30 minutes at this point and I had my toddler who was hungry and now grumpy in the back seat. I get it that they are busy and it's a Friday but this is every time we go there we have to wait at least 30 minutes longer than what we're quoted. They need a better system to figure out wait times. read more

I go to MOD pizza every Saturday. I love seeing the same faces every time I go. I enjoy the atmosphere too. Even if the line is long, it's worth the wait. It's the best pizza you can get. Love Mod pizza gluten free! It was packed, when we went in but they got us through the line relatively quickly. Our orders were correct and ready to go. They have a great gluten-free option which is great, and I love the option of build your own pizza, so everyone is happy. Their prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. Through all of the Covid scare this business stuck it out and kept on serving. I'm grateful for their prices, friendliness, and most of all the delicious food they create. Caspian Pizza. It seems like quality control is really low at this location, the pizzas lately have been very poor quality. I've tried Mod Pizza a couple of times and Pizza is very good (according to my pizza expert family) but I particularly enjoy their salads that use the same ingredients as their Pizza. This was the wackest, blandest pizza I have ever eaten in my life. You are better off going to the frozen section of any grocery store and grabbing a pizza from there. Service was fast but food was cold and they forgot toppings on my personal pizza. Also personal pizza crust is more like a tortilla than a pizza. My toppings slid right on off. read more

Very modern and delicious. If your on the mood for a bad customer service experience MOD is the place to be. They have their menu posted on the wall but once you get to the counter they don't ask you if you've been their before and they expect you to know what they have. It's nice to try new things but if I'm gonna get attitude before my meal for that I'll just stay home. read more

Decided to give this one a second chance as the first time was meh. We pulled in, there was no one in the drive through and one other car in a stall. That's it. So we push the button. Nothing happens. We wait, 3min still waiting. So I push the button again. Still waiting and now we are at 7min. So I hit the button again and I hear "I heard you the first time stop pushing the button". Not what I expected to hear as always it's "Welcome to Sonic how can I help you". So we order. Remember only 2 cars in the whole place and they left after we ordered. It was a normal 3 burgers, tots, chicken strip things, 4 drinks. Simple but I guess I when you are not too busy a single order can really mess up your day. We waited, and waited and after 15min. I again hit the button. "What!" Was what I heard. And when I asked if there was any chance of getting our food soon I got dead silence. About 5min. later out comes the runner. They hand us the drinks and bags of food and spin and take off. Not "do you need anything else etc..." just gone. We check the food, it was missing 2 tots and the burgers were stone cold. Kinda hard to believe because it took so long I would have thought they had butchered the cow and made fresh burger patties and cooked them on the spot. NOPE! These looked like a day old hockey puck. Slathered in what ever they put on to hide the fact these were not fresh cooked. I again hit the button (I guess I have a death wish), I got "Now what?" I said the food is cold and we are missing 2 tots. The response I got was amazing "Everything was in the bags when we sent it out, it was all hot and fresh", so I asked can you please refire the order and bring out fresh please? That's where I guess I was asking way too much and they said "It was all there hot and fresh and they were not going to do that because they know we are trying to get free food" Let me tell you, if you know anything about Sonic, they will remake the order and you give them back the bad food. Good policy to avoid getting scammed. Needless to say I dumped all the food in the trash and we headed down the street to eat and another place with better service and food. I will not and would not recommend this location as there are far better Sonic's around.

I was informed by a girl that was handing out free pizza outside that they had a gluten-free pizza available, which made me happy because I'm gluten-intolerant. I decided to eat there with my fiancé, who isn't gluten-intolerant, and we went in at about 6:30pm on a Sunday. Although the worker who was telling us that there was GF pizza was very enthusiastic about me being able to eat there, this restaurant is not actually able to offer ANYTHING Gluten-free. Other than their crust, the workers there do not make an effort to keep anything separate. (And you can see them making/cooking the pizza so they can't hide the fact that they are doing these things) They lay the GF crust on the same surfaces at the regular crust in the oven, covering the bottom of the crust with flour and crumbs from other pizzas. When I initially asked for GF pizza, they had been trained to inform me of these practices, so they are AWARE that they are doing it, it is a conscious choice, and they seemed very unconcerned about it. Why bother offering GF crust if you cook/prep it in a way that makes it unsafe to eat? Also, at the time we went in to eat, there was still a girl outside handing out free pizza, but inside many of the tables had not been wiped down, so it was hard to find a place to sit. Priorities seem a little off on that score, don't you think? Our pizza came hot and made the way we asked, but it wasn't cut properly, so when my fiancé took it back to have it cut the rest of the way through, the girl cut our pizza with the same cutter she had used to cut someone else's pizza moments before, yet another contamination issue for people with gluten-intolerances. I will never be able to bring my gluten-intolerant friends to this place, but as a regular pizza place its decent. My fiancé had no complaints and said the GF crust tastes as good as a regular thin-crust pizza. I hope the management changes their prep policies so that I can eat there someday, I tried it once, and my skin condition/digestive issues from gluten is flaring up today, proving that at least SOMETHING with gluten made its way into my food. If you want GF pizza in South Hill, go to BJ's near the South Hill Mall. read more

Rude and poor service during COVID crisis at this store! 2 bad or abusive service incidents within 2 weeks. Frequented this store for years. Staff is now EXTREMELY rude and abusive to customers during COVID crisis. Which is shameful that staff gave themselves permission to abuse loyal customers and provide poor service during the anonymity of takeout orders and a crisis. There is this counter woman that is so rude and angry that she should be fired! No way she should working with customers. She refused to give her name when asked (???!). Take out pizza orders were undercooked and missing half toppings. Online order was late. They ignore you and are rude when you go in to order pizza. No one responds to service complaints. I'm hoping this changes after COVID, because you will be hearing from me, MOD! EVERYONE that has bad service file a complaint online with Mod and write a review. They should fire Mekiah (sp?), the Manager. He sucks and is NOT a leader! To busy trying to be liked by really bad staff and a band of unhirables with hygiene issues is my guess. read more

Me and my family frequent alot of these locations but this paticular one keeps us coming back. The energy of the place and the crew is great. We never wait very long even when the line is practically out the door. I can tell Tonite was NO Different except for a tall angry gentlman clearly scrutinizing every pizza made(in street cloths?). The maker showed each of my pizzas before they were set on the table I approved each one. Me and my family are vegetarian so we love coming in and piling on the vegetables tonite I feel as though that wasn't allowed or that I would get someone in trouble for asking for extra. Though I am a bit confused on the whole build your own concept; the pizza makers still delivered on another great experience regardless of how uncomfortable things were in the background. I had not ever heard of this place until someone took me here in July 14. Now I'm not a fan of thin crust but after eating at mod's I am now. The crust was wonderful, the sauce was awesome, and the amount of toppings you can put on the pizza was awesome. All for just over $7 and the toppings are fresh and taste great. Also tried these garlic knots. (Garlic rolls) very good. Soft and just taste good dipping in there sauce. Then they have these different lemonades the one I had was this red one and I'm sorry but can't remember the name but we mixed it with sprite. Again very good. And the people are very nice and good at seeing if you have been there before. If not they tell you how it works.. Oh best part fire cooked pizza. There's no doubt I will be back again. 4:40pm January 28th A girl in a Wilson jersey, Red bandana and pony tale with Blue acrylics was picking up dough using her acrylic nails. No gloves. Taking cash tenders then touching dough, wiping her nose and face, touching her hair. Fucking nasty. 0/10. Was told she can't wear gloves while touching the dough however as soon as I complained she put gloves on. Still hasn't washed her hands. Also she gave my friend and I a really nasty look when we left. Did you know you physically cannot clean underneath an acrylic nail properly? Major health code violation. Normally I'm not a "Karen" but something about this rubbed me the wrong way. Bacteria and all sorts of shit are probably on the dinners of at least 20 other people since we were there. This location is just terrible now! Pandemic has just given the employees at this location permission to be lazy, rude, disrespectful, and not even try or attempt customer service or politeness right now. I waited 45 mins to pick up order. The staff was passive aggressive and hostile to customers for reasons only God knows or understands. They just seemed angry, disrespectful, and don't care. All the pizza ingredients were either missing or wrong. They also undercooked the pizza, which pretty much made it inedible garbage. Called to talked to some manager Meriah guy that said all the right things, but did nothing, fixed nothing, and could give a crap. You could tell. Get new management! Mod, these people in this location are going to kill your reputation and business! read more

Made On Demand! Doesn't get any better than this. They will put exactly what you want and how much you want of each particular topping on your pizza or salad. No skimping here. Just great food made your way, fast and at a great price. Awesome quality and customer service. No matter which MOD you go to, the crews and managers always seem to have great attitudes and appreciation for the customer. They are top flight and teach all their crews to give first class service with a smile. A rare gem these days and a joy to experience. Props to Amir & Brandon from the Puyallup MOD. I value service and friendly faces above all when choosing where to spend my time. This place hires the best, friendliest, most genuine people. I never felt pressured or rushed, only...comfortable. Everyone is different and it has a more urban and modern atmosphere than most businesses in this area. Music was fun and still appropriate for family dining (important to me!) I wish there was another location closer to downtown, Puyallup- we'd be there much more often if there were! I like that they have relatively healthy pizza (as far as pizza goes) and the build your own thing is really fun and great for families! They also get a really big thumbs up for employing developmentally disabled adults- that's a big deal and they deserve some applause. They also have salads and gluten free crusts for people who want to eat a little lighter or people who don't want the gluten. read more

I was in awhile back, and this was the best pizza I've ever had here. A girl named Hailey made it. I come to this location all the time but I've never seen this employee before so I asked her name and if she was new. She told me she worked at the Tacoma location. She made my pizza beautifully. All I can say is... Consistency is key, and they've got it! As a business owner myself, I appreciate whatever they do for training. All of the staff are always on point as soon as customers walk in the door and acknowledge you.
