How I heard of this place: I came to learn of MOD Pizza when meeting a friend downtown for a lunch break many moons ago. Now, our kids love it, so we find excuses to go. Type of cuisine: Made on demand pizza and salads. Ambiance: A large, stand-alone building with outdoor parking in their lot. The interior is wide open, with plenty of seating for dozens of diners. Place orders off of the large wall-mounted menu or create your own pizza/salad and walk your way down the display of toppings to make your selections. At the end, patrons pay then take their seats to await their creations. Once called, additional saucy toppings are offered and pizzas placed either in boxes or on pizza trays for indulging. What I ordered: In our group of six, we had a little of everything - from the Flash MOD to the Caspian, a mini and several make-your-own (with bacon, pepperoni, red onion, red sauce and a drizzle of pesto and ranch). What I loved: The food is relatively fast, made your way, and toppings fresh. Why I loved it: Easy, everyone gets what they want and everyone leaves happily satisfied. Cost: Average

Shoutout to my server Noelia! MOD has become my absolute go to for a high value high taste meal. I've only recently discovered the joy of the pesto drizzle at the end. Thank you MOD!!

By far one of my favorite locations. I live in the area and tend to come late usually within 20=30 minutes of closing. Sure they are cleaning and such but always friendly, ready to put my pie together, make suggestions if I'm on the fence, and with a smile. Genuinely nice, kind employees. And my pizza is always delicious! Parking: I walk, but they have plenty Location: Easy to find and get to Prices: I've always thought fair for what you get Cleanliness: This location is always clean when I've been there. I have not used the restrooms there.

We finally decided to try this place after a hard day of exercise and it was so worth it!…read moreDefinitely not something I can eat everyday but definitely a reward for a stressful day or a hard exercise day :) The location is a little weird because it's literally in the middle of nowhere, there's no sign or anything so you definitely need to be searching. We got the flamin' cali crunch with Chicken. I love that outside had a nice crunch from the tortilla and then inside, you get a different crunch from hot cheetos. The meat was good, it's a little dry but still flavorful. This alone can feed 2 people The carne asada curly fries with added Onion rings. This was so heavy and in generous amount. Can easily feed 3-4 people. I love that the fries stayed crispy the entire time and it didn't get greasy at all. Also, it didn't taste or feel greasy. The onion ring was surprisingly good. I love the flavor. The carne asada was in huge chunks and still tender and cooked well. Why the 4 stars and not 5: location is a little sketchy, the ordering system isn't that great and both dishes was a little dry and you definitely need to drink water

I've had sandwiches, bowls, tenders, thighs and drums. They're all good. The sandwiches are the high point in my opinion - particular shoutout to the Slawsome and Hot Honey. They're big and messy but tasty. Can't go wrong with them, and I frequently can't help but order one. The bowls are powerful. I've had both kinds on different trips and they're hard to do in a single sitting, whereas sandwich + side is not. Just be warned. The sides are straightforward - what you see is what you get. They tend to be a little more basic, or classic if you will, than the sandwiches. I like this, since they serve as a side/counterpoint. We tend to get the slaw and pot of gold. The fries are the battered style which are very good and combo well with the rest of the menu. Takeout times tend to be accurate and the staff have been working hard but helpful every time we stop in. Most importantly they've been consistently good every time we go - and often during peak busy times, so that speaks well of their kitchen staff. Top marks all around. The move to the new spot didn't slow them down a bit, so make sure you check the address before going if you haven't been in a few months.

We had visited the Ballard location before they had moved to their new home. Stopped by the new location a few weeks ago. The new location is definitely in the sketchy part of Ballard, but it was nice to have a designated parking lot, rather than trying to find a street spot at the old location! My husband and I both ordered 3 tendies, in cayenne heat (level 2 spicy). Didn't seem spicy enough for my liking, so next time I am going to try the level 3! The chicken is delicious! It's crispy, juicy and flavorful. They offer a lot of sauces to choose from too. Although if you ask me, if you order any spicy level, the chicken doesn't need it! My husband is a dipper though and he likes his sauce. His fave is the Honey Mustard. (I opted for a garlic aioli. I love garlic but it was a little much). Since I was feeling like a comfort side, I selected the potatoes and gravy. (I have also had the fries and the macaroni and cheese). They have a good selection of sides. We love Cookie's chicken!

A 10 top joint, this place is small, however there is a patio outside that also shares with another restaurant so that during the summer addition seating is available. My father ordered a bacon cheeseburger and I ordered the pastrami burger which was a cheeseburger with pastrami also on it. We also ordered onion rings and the Greek fries to share. We both had chocolate shakes. The food came out quickly, probably 10 mins or so. The shakes are hand done and mixed to order. DELICIOUS! Both of our burgers were juicy and delicious. All burgers have lettuce, onion, pickle and tomato. Several versions of burgers, sandwiches and salads available. The rings were to me perfect, well cooked and great breading. this sandwich was highly impressive as the main part of the…read moresandwich, it was pretty necessary that the pork be cooked to near-perfection, and i have to say it was here it gave off a deep, brown-ish color, which showed the extent of it's cooking and marination. It wasn't quite incredibly tender, but the marinade added an absolute ton of flavor. more importantly, it was present plentifully throughout the sandwich, so practically every bite came filled with pork I also have to mention how packed together the ingredients are between the buns. when you start eating, it's inevitable that a quarter of the ingredients will fall onto the wrap below, leaving a nice secondary meal to finish off after the sandwich is done. the sandwich is packed incredibly tight during the wrapping process, but it unravels a bit while eating. for me, the major highlights of this meal was the onions and the aioli Starting with the onions, these may be the best I've ever had on a sandwich. They're caramelized amazingly, placed onto the sandwich in astoundingly large pieces, are crunchy, and there's just a lot of them. They're just wonderful both texturally and taste-wise. This sandwich is absolutely lathered with aioli - practically dripping with it. This boosted the overall flavor so much, especially because this aioli was addictingly good. In my experience, the amount of sauce has been directly proportional to how much I enjoyed a sandwich, and when the sauce is this good - it's even on the top of the bun! - i absolutely loved it Somehow the lettuce stayed crunchy despite all the otherwise wetness going on in the sandwich. Props for that The jalapenos were great as well for that extra bit of spicy - I would've loved to have more of them while the bread was toasted well, the one downside was i thought it was pretty hard and tough, which made chewing kind of difficult. I found my jaw to be pretty tired at the end after eating this. I would've much preferred a softer roll that's easier to bite into I've had similar sandwiches from Paseo and Bongos, and in my opinion this does edge out both of those Comparing to Paseo, the sandwich there has way more oil, making it more sloppy and I do like the bread there a lot better, but the pork feels richer and better marinated here (although less fatty), and the onions are definitely caramelized better here as well. Bongos has a pretty similar level of pork with more, but onions are definitely a step down What moves this place above those two for me is the amount of aioli used here far exceeds those other places, which just makes the overall eating experience better For the price (about 14 dollars) this is a really filling meal
