Great idea for a place. Similar to blaze pizza. Food was good and they had plenty of options and toppings to choose from. Some people were helpful when only came to gluten allergies but the service from the manager on duty was pretty bad, and she was rude about the gluten sensitivity. YUM YUM YUM! Discovered the downtown location last week, and then was driving past this new location today and it turns out it was their grand opening! That meant I could treat my husband to yummy pizza (he had a #5 and I did a make my own with roasted garlic, jalepenos, regular garlic, olives, artichokes, and some other yummy stuff) AND they were DONATING ALL PROCEEDS to the local food bank for the day! Apparently they do that every thanksgiving week, too. How cool! They also serve Proletariat wine (love the red!) made by three local guys that I met at another charity event a while ago. I came her with my daughter on 12/29 in the late afternoon. I had never been to a MOD and we wanted to have a late lunch. Besides the fact that the pizza was very good, what really impressed me was the patience and friendliness of the 3 guys behind the counter. In addition to the best, site-made thin crust (they have regular too), each pizza is made to order, assembly line style. I appreciate being able to customize my own pizza and salad. Both are well done and very tasty. Service is usually friendly and quick. Caveat, don't buy the mini size pizza. They seem to have made the mini even smaller. The 6" mini pizza costs $6.27, which is $0.221 per square inch, while the 11" mod pizza cost $8.27 which is $0.087 per square inch. That means the 6" is 2.54 times more expensive per square inch than the 11" pizza. I use to be able to get by with ordering the mini, now it is too expensive for too little. read more

This place was a surprise. I wasn't expecting a lot from a chain, but I had a great time at MOD. Christine and the rest of the crew were helpful and friendly, even though it was pretty busy and it looked like they had a few things to handle on top of the customers. Some of the best service I've had in a while. The food itself was good too. The float was delicious (and refillable!!!). I had the Lucy Sunshine (garlic, artichoke hearts, mozz, parmesean, dollop of red sauce to finish) and added argula, chicken and broccolini. So good. I loved the number of choices and the fact that it's a set price regardless. Having the suggested pizzas a jumping off point made a huge difference to my hangry self. Best pizza I've ever had? Nah. But definitely a good bet any day, and hard to beat at this price point (it is unsurprisingly way better than CPK and at like half the price). A friend of mine begged me to meet them for lunch so I could try this place. Having never heard of this place before, I was indeed skeptical when he swore this would be the best pizza I'll have eaten to date. Well, he was correct! I went with the garlic rub base and topped it with grilled chicken, chorizo, spinach, bacon, roasted garlic, and all of the cheeses. Honestly, outside of the amazing dough that cooks into a light and crispy crust, the taste of the pizza is all on you because you choose the flavor combinations. This is by far the best value pizza place ever. For the price I was expecting cheap ingredients and badly made pizza. What I got was a work of art, all of the ingredients are fresh including the meat. They also have a variety of cheeses. I walked in 5 minutes before closing time and they still made a pizza for me. It was delicious! I chose the white sauce, lots of meat, veggies and two handfuls of parmesan cheese. They bake them in a stone oven which gives a really delicious natural taste. All of that cost me 8 bucks. If I had to get that same pizza at another pizza shop it would of been at least $20. I would definitely come here again. read more

This location took my Mod pizza virginity, and boy am I glad they did! A couple weeks ago a few of us at the office went out for lunch and my boss took us to Mod. I didn't know what to expect and at first felt overwhelmed with all of the choices to make (note: this is not a good restaurant if you are indecisive - so look at their selections online beforehand like I did). I basically built my pizza on paper before we went in. As we arrived, the parking lot was jam packed even before the regular lunch rush hour. Instantly greeted by friendly Mod staff. The pizza making was wicked fast. From walking into Mod to walking out with the pizza in a box, it was less than 10 minutes - which was awesome given that we only had a short amount of time. Mod is great for all ages and all appetites. The three different sizes give you good choices - which is great, because if you don't love too much crust then their thin crust pizzas will be the shiznit for you. If there are those of you who live for pizza crust, then get the mega where you get two pizza crusts glued together with cheese and sauce of your choice. You are a meat-a-tarian? You can load up on all the meat you want! Vegetarian? They have a full garden's worth of veggies for toppings. You like both meat and veggies? You are in luck! I love the food, service, and price at Mod. Quite frankly, I don't think you can go wrong here! The employees are always very friendly and helpful, especially with our two small kiddos. I love mod pizza! I love their fast and quick system of making pizzas. If you already don't know what Mod has to offer then here is a sneak peek. They serve really thin pizzas with a great ratio between sauce and cheese. With all the toppings on, the dough gets a bit soft again but the crusts are still a bit crunchy. Definitely fun enough to fold in half. You can always choose from the featured pizzas but it's super easy to customize your own. They are not skimpy on toppings which is amazing because usually I have to ask for double toppings of any toppings I get because most places aren't as good as Mod. I know this is a pizza joint but oh my goodness I have to mention those salads are amazing! I get the Caesar salad mixed and it is one of the best salads sometimes I think about going there just to get a salad. They are always really fast service with seamless ordering. They have plenty of indoor seating and even have some outdoor seating given the good days. Even when there's a long line I'm always been surprised by how fast I can get through there. Also sidenote for all the people like me with the car:it does have a parking lot right there, so no street parking! read more
